Clean room and hot breakfast

We had the best experience here on our honeymoon. We had booked a different hotel, and it was horrible. We ended up having to leave at 9:30 at night because if was so bad. We called the Hampton hoping they would help us, and Troy was fantastic. He found us a room, held it until we got there, and even gave us the room for what we paid at the other place so it was easier on us. Everything was spotless, service was lovely, and the staff were so helpful. We will definitely be back.

Really happy with our two day stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Sydney. The room had a great "kitchen" area with a large fridge and sink. Beds were comfortable. Pool had a fantastic slide that the kids loved and the pool wasn't too cool. Hot breakfast had warm scones which was a nice change. While the hotel is located conveniently near the highway, there is hardly anything else around it or within walking distance (the only close restaurant is the one located in the attached convention centre).

Clean room, comfy bed, being on top floor, great soaps, no big issues at check in/check out.

The room was very large and clean. I did however get used shampoo and conditioner bottles and the TV didn't work. Breakfast was only sandwich and cereal, so not a big hotel breakfast unfortunately. The pool was decent size but very very cold! The gym was great size and had very many options of equipment. The font desk people were very nice and welcoming. Great parking and close to everything!

Management policies contradict other Hampton Inn locations. Staff is very judgemental, feels like you get a terrible interaction if your appearance doesn’t show high status. This is a hotel in Cape Breton not the Caesar Palace for crying out loud.

Thanks to the staff who ensured that the hotel was spotless, with access to hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes readily available throughout the hotel. As always, the hotel rooms were clean, the staff attentive and helpful, and I like the fact that the parking lot is brightly lit and visible from the front lobby. The fitness centre has everything that one would need to keep up with their routine when away from home, and the waterslide is always a hit when travelling with the kids!

While staying here I noticed that I'd left some bathroom items at home, I made my way to the front desk and they had what I needed. Of course, free of charge. Comfortable beds. Amazing, huge mirrors. Awesome wifi connection. And a delicious breakfast! 10/10

Walls were super thin. You could hear everything. They’re are also many people that are always “partying” late at night in the hotel. Breakfast was horrible, as there was no hot food because of covid. (which makes no sense) staff is just lazy and uses covid as an excuse so they don’t have to make food. Rooms are also never cleaned. (another reason on why they are lazy.) you’re paying full price for no hot food or clean rooms. not worth it.

Disappointed that there was no discount for EHS workers. Paid $157.00 for a king bed that was lumpy spring mattress. Got woken up 3 times throughout the night with kids running up and down the hallways and parents parting. Call down and nothing was done.
