I had no problems with A&W, but the last time I went it was different. They messed up the order by putting onion rings instead of fries, even tho on the receipt it clearly stated "fries" and we said we want fries 3 times. They also added some unusual spices to food (which I personally do not like at all). The spices were the major issue for me. It's a fast food industry and it doesn't state anywhere that they're using those spices. So it's really sad A&W becoming worse in Swan River.

Not satisfied while ordering on speaker. I am ordering on the speaker, oder taking person is very confusing and confuse me too.... Not once but more then 2 time Beyond Patty is not cooked proper. Mozza burgers are by far my fave. Each town we go to for work or leasure that is always my go to. Sadly this Mozza was an embarresment to A&W. It was cold....dry...and HALF a slice of bacon was broken into 2 pieces...and was definitly far from freshly made....Was Quarter of what a mozza bacon should normally be. And the Rootbear was warm The Big Juicy Mozza was such a disapointment from this location as it was so not that! In Swan River MB I DO not recomend If i could post a minus i so would.

No longer fast food. Unfortunately this restaurant has gone quite downhill since new ownership/management in 2021. I've had several bad experiences, but today was bad enough for me to come write this review. I was 2nd car in drive thru, only other vehicle was already at pick-up window. My order was two burger combos, and I had a coupon, so I hit redeem on my phone while making my order. I sat in the drive-thru for just over 15 minutes waiting for my order... I know because I screenshot my coupon which had only 5 mins left (from 20) before expiring! This is at 6pm in evening, when maximum staff should be on to provide prompt service! It's really too bad, as the previous management and staff provided such great service. Sorry, best to avoid.

Swan River, Manitoba The order taker is very interruptive and doesn’t listen, ordered a burger with no onions and extra pickles and got a burger with nothing on it at all! This isn’t even the first time this has happened! Would like to see improvement when it comes to the person taking the orders from customers.

The restaurant overall is pretty good, nice beyond meat burgers with great taste and not too much char, sweet potato fries and my favorite side but not much variety for sides. The speed of service is pretty slow but I don’t mind waiting for the food. Overall the food and service is good!

Terrible service. Sitting in the drive thru right now for over 15 min. .smallest town in manitoba... never more than a couple in mine.. but yet.. on average waiting 10 plus lins for food. Half the time the drink machine is "down" ... no exaggeration..consistanly the worst a&w experience I've ever had compared to anywhere else in manitoba .. lucky they are the only one on 200 km radius. If I could give it 0 stars I would !!

Youre lucky I'm not given the option to post a picture so people can see these buddy burgers from our local a&w. I bought them at 345pm on Feb 5 2022. There's supposed to be sauteed onions on here. I bought 5. All the same. Looks like they scraped the crud off the grill and pressed it into a quarter sized circle on the center of the bun. Absolutely terrible. For shame you careless staff. For shame. You just lost a customer forever.

Consistent good food but keep an eye on the person at cash. On a 2 meals for the price of 1, the cashier will still charge for the second meal. She will try to tell you it's taxes. Of course it is. That is why it's 2 for the price of 1.

Meal was cold and Purchased a small gravy and it was only half full. Messaged them to tell them what happened and they made me feel like I was looking for something for free which I was not. Just letting them know that they should pay more attention to what they were passing out in the drive thru. I go to this location once a week and I will take my business to another fast food business from now on. Great owners, poor staff. Hope it will change but won't be going back to find out.

Update. Figured after a couple months maybe try this place again. Oh boy. Big mistake. Checked my order before leaving the window. It was all wrong and missing items. I give my food back mentioned that it’s missing items. They said I never ordered those items. I said ok I would like my money back. They said I assaulted them and were going to call the cops. After dealing with the cops and defeating the accusations. I do not have the food or my money back. When I was getting my order. She was trying to give me 2 drinks instead of 3. She stuck her big face in the bag and said everything was in there so I don’t bother to check. When I got home I found that I was Missing my fries. When I called. The manager was nice about it and told me to go back to get my refund. When I went there. The other lady that was giving me my order called me a liar and said she gave me everything.

There’s almost always a 5-15 minutes wait at the drive thru before you can even order. They answer with “we’ll be right with you” despite the fact that there’s only been 1 or 2 people go ahead of you. Every person going through has to wait at least 5 minutes at the minimum. It’s been almost a half hour wait before even ordering and then even longer waiting for food. Even on days there has been an empty parking lot and being first in line at the drive through there is still a ridiculously long wait.

Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. Staff and restaurant is terrific! MUSIC is loud and annoying. Part of A&W's appeal is its connections to great Old rock music. Clientele throughout the day is mostly a generation that would appreciate that, and also a mix of music of various generations. FOOD is better than ever. Only exception is the Root Beer Float.
