Unexpected great trip, I didn't know anything about the ferry but it was a great experience. Good food, plenty of good seating, nice bar with entertainment, good lounge and pleasant crew. Voyage was very smooth, left and arrived exactly on time. Didn't stay in cabins but got to view the two options. 1st sleeps 4 with 2 single beds and two drop down beds like train bed $40. 2nd $50 had a queen bed and a futon with TV. Either would be worth it for the crossing. Both have toilet, sink and a full shower. Great value for the price. If I go again I will book a 50 suite.

Pretty bad when you have to make a reservation to bring a vehicle because you aren't allowed to bring a dog inside and there is nowhere to put it other than leave it in your vehicle. Mighty close to animal cruelty in my books. My dog is very susceptible to cold and cannot be left outside in this cold weather. Let alone a human have to stay out and freeze along with it. CTMA is all about money and tourists. Not local people who they ask for support from when their contact is up for renewal. Would give zero stars if possible. P.S. for you English people good luck getting an English tv station on the ferry.

Smooth sailing to the islands. Crew were helpful and friendly. We had a much more pleasant experience on this ferry than on the ferry to Nfld. Cafeteria with nice hot meals was open. Lots of room for passengers to roam. That rear sundeck was fabulous! Cabins were nicely appointed. Embarkations and disembarkations were well organized and timely. Thank you CTMA for a pleasant voyage.

Due to COVID-19 limited choice on food so bring your cooler with lunch/supper since Souris PEI delivery at harbour was a disaster (listed restaurants didn’t deliver because they are busy) and eating at 8pm in Cap aux Meules took two hours when everyone exits the ferry. No Wi-Fi which was a surprise for teenagers knowing it takes 5 hours to cross.

It's either by boat or plane to get home. The ferry is really showing it's age and could use some TLC. The staff at the ticket office is amazing and very educated in making sure your needs are met including any language barriers (English/French) The bar staff unfortunately are not bilingual and there are no English menues or price lists. There is also a different set of rules for the languages in the bar area. What's good for one does not apply to the other. We were very disappointed (Sr.woman who grew up here all her life) I guess some thi vs never change. This is a strike against tourism for the island.

There is 2 option to take the ferry. 2 AM or 2 PM either way reserve like a month before. We have reserved and was not inform that you could reserve a cabin in the ferry. This was very disappointing since we were sleeping in the car for 4 hours waiting for it. Yes be there early even if you have reservation people comes in at 7PM and even earlier for the 2 AM ferry. In resume, only way in or out of the island but ask for the cabins and reserve in advance.

Sur le pont, il y a des chaises longues, la possibilité de garder son chien avec nous à l'extérieur ou sinon le laisser au chenille. Et finalement, des sections avec sièges pour écouter un film en toute tranquillité. Merci.
