I had a lovely experience at their old location in downtown Whitby. The dress that I wore for my wedding was altered so that it help me snug in place and looks fabulous. I was really happy with the service i received at Cindy’s alterations. I bought my dress second hand since i could not justify spending thousands on a gown. Our wedding was scheduled to be in June but due to Covid we had to cancel and start planning everything from the beginning. In the mean time I ended up purchasing another gown. One week prior to the wedding I tried on the second gown purchased, and did not feel comfortable in it. I reached out to Michelle 7 days before the wedding and asked her if it was possible to alter the dress and make it look a bit different. I am very particular with my taste. She was able to alter my dress to my desire in only 4 days, this allowed me to also get the dress dry cleaned in time. I am so thankful for Michelle, she was really professional, quick, and pleasant work with ☺️

i was conned by Cindy and then ripped off by her. My wedding dress a total disaster!!! and more expensive than it would have cost at the bridal boutique!!! I trusted her and she lied. I wouldn't even think twice about using her sevice ever again!

TERRBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have never dealt with someone that has no appreciation for her clients. If you use Cindy ' s services make sure you ask her how much everything is going to be. My dress was altered too tight and when I went back to pick up the fix I was charged AGAIN. When I called to ask why she began speaking over me to the point at which we ended up yelling at eachother. By the way...this is the day of the wedding that this is all happening.

Went to Cindy's to have a new zipper installed in my parka. The girls checked it out, and recommended just repairing it. The repair was done in 10 minutes, and I was out the door with repaired parka in hand. The cost of the repair was more than reasonable and much less costly than a new zipper. I will definitely use Cindy's in the future, and highly recommend to my friends, family and customers.
