I have a very old wool jacket with fur around the hood that needed to be replaced. Nobody in the city was willing to help me out, and then I found this place! The customer service was fantastic - two very friendly folks. I was quoted about a week to have the work done and it was done in just a few days. The price was very reasonable and my jacket looks like new again! I've found my tailor, that's for sure!

I took in a a service dog vest to get sewn up. I can sew but sold my industrial sewing machine, so I could not put it together. All the material was provided, I cut all the material and put it almost completely together and pinned it. It just had to be sewn up. Admittedly there was a short time limit of 3 days to do the job, a very good job was done on it. However the $333.00 price tag that came with it was extremely excessive.

Fantastic! Took my "custom" suit from EPH to Rays and was not satisfied at all. Immanuelle's took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed them all. They did an amazing job and now my wedding suit actually feels custom. Highly recommend.

Took some work shirts in to have shoulder patches sewn to them. Patches all off centre and inconsistent (one arm too far back, the other too far forward). Also took a pair of jeans in to have a hole mended. One of the messiest stitch jobs I've ever seen. Laughable.

The change of ownership from the original Ray's should be known. The new taylors know very little on how items should be altered and have runied a blazer and two pairs of expensive trousers.. Items which were marked up end up much shorter than requested and blazers out of proportion. Would not recommend Ray's anymore

Bad customer service at every turn. A day and a half late, as well as a shirt that's unwearable. They say they will fix anything that doesn't fit right if you tell them when you pick it up but that isnt true. He doesn't stand by his work, he will just tell you that you are wrong and to pay him to fix it.

we were super excited to use these guys as our tailor for my husbands Ralph Lauren suit for a wedding we had, however after 3 separate visits the suit was altered and it looked awful. we had to purchase a very large suit as my husband is quite tall and broad shouldered, so by the time the jacket fit, the rest needed to be taken in a lot. the pants needed to loose about 6 inches per leg, but instead of taking it off everywhere they only took it in at the sides so that the side seam was almost in line with the *back* pockets - looked ridiculous. Jacket was even worse - they took too much off the back initially and had to re-let it out but hadn't kept enough fabric to do so. On top of that they didn't alter the liner at all, so when the jacket was on the liner actually hung *below* the jacket line, also all the loose material made the jacket slide around like a kid wearing his dad's clothes. $600 suite, plus $300 of alterations that basically ruined it, and by the time we actually got the suit there wasn't actually enough time fort them to try to repair/replace before the wedding was happening. 6 mos. start to finish, which left the wedding a week or so away. We were assured throughout that the timeline would be no issue at all, it was ton's of time for them to do the work, and even with that time when we got home and looked at it it looked like they had put peaks on the shoulders like cruella devilles dress. At this point we were scared my husband would end up wearing a scrap of cloth if we went back with our concerns, ended up going to Caroline O'Sullivan, who fixed the vast majority of the issues for less than what we paid Immanuel. Thank goodness for referrals.....

Had my grandmas 1940's swing coat tailored here. Was nervous to hand it over to someone to alter it, but they were very clear and helpful and I'm so happy with how it turned out.

Do not use. Simple alteration on hemming pants, specifically said I want them to hang long and got them back at my ankles. Terrible. May be throwing clothes away. Thanks for nothing folks.

I brought a coat in to have the arm pit area taken in. They slimmed the coat instead so now it actually fits worse. I had to return twice to pick up my coat as it wasn't ready the times they said ot would be. I get the coat home and the stictching in the sleeve isn't even finished. They had a great rating which is why I chose them. Hopefully this it was an off day and this isn't the kind of tayloring people are accepting and giving 4.9 stars.
