They have been doing all of my sewing and alterations for a long time now. Very nice people. Just went to pick up a work jacket that needed some holes in the pockets sewn, and they had missed one pocket. The owner was upset that she had missed it and is fixing it without any fuss. Great work and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

I took a bridesmaids dress here for a lot of alterations (strap shortening, hemming, taking it in a size, putting new cups in) and she was able to get everything done very quickly without sacrificing the quality of the alterations. The alterations were also very well priced for all the work she did. I won't hesitate to go back for other items I might need altered.

I took my trench coat to this place to get all the buttons tightened, there was few that had fallen off and she told me she'd get er done so I came back a week latter she took my money I didn't check the coat till I got home and she didn't fix a damn thing, on top of that she tried telling me when I dropped it off that the buttons are good and didn't need to be tightened witch they absolutely did because more fell off since. Terrible advice, terrible service she rambled on for ever about nothing and then took payment and did not do what I asked... fair warning this is not a quality service place.

STAY AWAY!!!!! she charges so much $ for a simple hem of jeans. When I went on she talked me up so much. When I went to pick up jeans one pair was hemmed the other wasn't touched at all. Went back and told her to fix them. Omg she completely butchered my jeans. And I paid over $400 for them. There's two layers of cloth on the bottom of one of them which means they hemmed them shorter than what they were supposed to be before and had to add on extra fabric to make it normal. My jeans are so short they should be Capris. Seriously so pissed off about this. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Took my wedding dress in to get some straps moved, sides taken in and bones added, cups added and a bustle added - was all done quickly with wonderful workmanship for about half the price of other alteration places. Returned after the wedding to get some lace sewn back onto the dress from wedding day wear and tear - for free. Each time I went, she was kind, and so very helpful.

Did an impossible job in under a week, I had a bridesmaid dress that was about 4 sizes too small and I had just accepted that it wouldn’t look/fit good. I think it was about 5 days after I took the skirt in I went to try it on and I was shocked that it not only fit perfectly but also looked amazing!! 6/5⭐️

Initially, when I arrived at K & M Sewing in Saskatoon, I was quite upset. I had just picked my wedding dress up and discovered that I could not fit into to it due to the fact that the dress was ordered too small...I was initially measured as a size 2 but was told by the professional helping me purchase a wedding dress that she thought that I'd have no problem fitting into a size 0, so that was what was ordered. Being naive in purchasing wedding dresses, I went with the professionals advice which was definetly a mistake. Always go a size bigger, never smaller. I don't normally write reviews but decided to due to the wonderful experience I had at K & M Sewing. The owner was very helpful, she knew I was very upset and did everything she could to make me feel better. She convinced me that there would be no problem in fixing my wedding dress and she did exactly that. I'm very impressed by her customer service, her compassion towards me (with me being upset) and her amazing workmanship in fixing my wedding dress, which now fits me perfect. It turned out the exact way I pictured it would to begin with. Thanks so much for all that you did. I recommend K & M Sewing Saskatoon to anyone in need.

My clothes are always as good as they can be, being altered from the original state. She is friendly and professional. She is a seamstress, not a miracle worker, but pretty darn close. I am always happy with the work done here. Things are always done in a timely manner. I read a review saying the price is expensive, just because I bought my second hand jeans for 5.00 dollars doesn't mean it's fair I pay her 3.00. I'm paying for her craftsman ship and her time or else I'd just sew it myself if I didn't want a professional job done.

I am so amazed at how great she was. I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding and I needed the dress taken out a bit and it looks perfect. She also shortened it, put a slit in it, took the straps in and added cups. It was very reasonably priced, and so well done. As well as she is such a sweet lady. Thank you so much ! I would NOT recommend here. I saw all the good reviews so I didn't expect such a rip off at here. But nope. I bought my wedding dress online for $200. And she tried to charge me $400 for alteration. I thought it was too expensive for how cheap my dress was. So I didn't do it with her and she just turned her attitude right away and said she is so busy and doesn't have time to do my dress anyway and then charged me $25 for taking her time. She was not kind at all I don't know how she can treat some future customers like that. So I took my dress to the one in confederation mall. She charged me $190 for the same alteration!! And she was so kind and good adviser for my dress. I think the name was olyvia or something. Go to the one at the confederation mall. !! DO NOT go to K&M. It is such a rip off.

Would not recommend. Overpriced for the quality of work done. Needed a pair of pants altered and she promised they would be done by a certain date, over three weeks later I still had not received a call. When I finally picked them up they were completely wrinkled, will not be a returning customer.

They did great work on my bridesmaid dress! My dress was ordered quite large because its an out of town wedding and they were not sure what to order me! It had alot of intricate folds and it looked and fit me properly when i came back. I also liked that she suggested taking up the length it made me feel like she took the time to make sure her finished work would be perfect, and it was!

What a great business! I had a 50s style dress that was WAY too big for me and required extensive alterations- it needed to be taken in everywhere. The dress itself had a complicated pattern, so this was not an easy task. When I came back to try it on, it needed to be taken in even more because I had lost some weight. Not only did the seamstress not charge me for the extra alterations, but she rushed to complete it for me so that I could wear it to a wedding! The end product exceeded my expectations. She clearly cares deeply for her craft and customer satisfaction. We will be taking all of our alterations here from now on.

I took a pair of jeans in that had a broken zipper, she told me it was a low quality zipper and she would replace it with a much better one. When I got my jeans back the zipper was replaced with a MASSIVE heavy duty zipper. I didn't complain though, as long as it worked it didn't really matter how big it was. Well, it turns out the zipper was garbage. The jeans now unzip themselves at any given time, I am going to have to take them in to a different tailor to have this zipper taken out and replaced again. The cost was quite high but I would have been fine with it if the repairs worked.... With nothing to show for my money but a new broken zipper, I am really not happy.

My daughter bought a dress for a wedding , but the dress needed alterations around the arm sleeve and needed shortening . My mom had a lady who used to sew . When she finished the arms and was about to shorten i looked at the job it was horrible and so i took it home . This was friday around 8:30 pm. , the dress still needed to be shortened I called k&M and she said to bring it in right away . She said it would be done by 10:30 the next morning . It was done early and the hemming was perfect . Not only did they do a rush job , I wasnt charged extra for the short notice and sewing was perfect . I will recomend k&m to everyone I know. 5 Stars . I had a very urgent need - received my wedding dress 2 weeks before the wedding and it needed major alterations! K & M Sewing was able to get all the work done - went in for my first fitting 1 week after I dropped it off, and picked up the final product 2 days later - 6 days before my wedding. All the work is done perfectly and there was no extra charge for the rush order! Very impressed.

She altered my wedding dress, various bridesmaid dresses and other smaller requests over the years, and each time I was quick to get back the pieces in excellent condition. Prices are very fair. It’s hard to find a good seamstress so I hope she sticks around :)

Very disappointed with the service!! Took a cocktail dress in to have it shortened. Was expecting it to be tailored properly. Instead all she did was open the hem and press it up to a huge hem which showed through and didn't hang properly. Show me a lightweight cocktail dress that has a 3 inch hem. Come on, that's not tailoring! The underlining was crooked and I expected she would open the hem and trim it even. She didn't bother trimming it and just stitched it so it didn't hang below the hemline. As a result, the underlining hem was almost 1 inch in some spots and 1/2 inch in others. It seems like she does the fastest, easiest thing which isn't always the correct way to fix it. I was willing to pay for tailoring because, although I know how to sew, I don't have a serger and my sewing machine is quite old with few stitching options. I also don't have a dress form which is what you would use to fix a crooked hem. I ended up fixing it myself anyway. I used my daughter as a dress form. As someone who knows how to sew, if you have any special occasion clothing that needs proper tailoring, I recommend that you don't go here.

I had three winter coats, jeans, shorts, pants, a dress and a skirt tailored here. The service was excellent, reasonably priced, and all items were completed quickly. Time was taken to ensure I was happy with the final result. The clothes fit beautifully, and I felt like I received a completely new wardrobe. I would recommend this location to anyone, and will return with all clothes I need altered in the future.
