ArthurRose was highly recommended to me to have my Pricey wedding dress dry cleaned and they shrunk it immensely as in 2 sizes and the sheer underneath was a wrinkled mess which meant that I also had to pay more for alterations after the fact. I asked the store what they can or would do about it and offered a small credit. A credit? Why would they give me a credit like I would ever return there!

I gave this place my favorite white shirt for dry cleaning. Just one shirt. It costed 18 dollars and the buttons of the shirt became so loose after the dry cleaning that I lost three buttons, so far. They ruined my shirt and I will never go back there.

Showed up 10 minutes before closing and they had already locked their door. Not the first time this has happened. Don’t use Arthur Rose if you are looking for a company to go the extra mile.

I regularly bring my work uniform here to get cleaned and pressed. The work is always done on time with great results. Every employee that I have dealt with has been professional and seems to be happy working there. The waiting area is pretty classy too!

Excellent customer service and the ladies working are super approachable and kind. Quality is top notch and it’s conveniently located downtown but thankfully on a street I wouldn’t consider too busy for downtown Saskatoon. They have parking on the side and generally the loading zone at the front is available which is convenient. Also I’m loving the revamped space.

EDIT - I was contacted by Arthur Rose and they returned my hanger as well as offered to re-box my dress or take it out of the box to re-press and refund what I paid for the box. I am very happy with the service I've received to make it right. Dropped my wedding dress off to be dry cleaned and boxed. I was told that the lady who quotes wedding dresses wasn’t there but if I left the dress there with a deposit they would call me with a quote. I never received a phone call for a quote as promised, but I would have appreciated it since it cost nearly $400 to have this done. I also paid $100 for the box to display my wedding dress which is a very cheap looking cardboard box with a small window to view the dress. The dress was not boxed very nicely either and does not look very nice inside the box. When I dropped my dress off it was on a special hanger that was gifted to me on my wedding day and when I asked if this would be returned to me I was assured it would be, however I never received it back. I would never recommend this place for brides wanting their dresses boxed - huge waste of money.

When i brought my garment into the store I was given the price to clean the garment and paid 2/3 of that price as a deposit. I get a phone call the next day telling me that I had been quoted the wrong price and that it would cost another $50 to clean the garment. This is super unprofessional and frankly unacceptable business practice. If you quote a price and take a deposit then you should not be changing your price after the deposit has been paid. I was also told it would take 8 weeks to clean the garment which is a lengthy amount of time considering how simple the garment was. I would not recommend this dry cleaner due to their shady business practices and what appears to be poor time management.

I took a silk dress which had a nose drip spot on the front to see if they could clean it. The lady, who came from the back, did not have any understanding of silk, and did not ask me any questions that would have helped her understand the situation. She demonstrated a lack of understanding and interest in silk, and she should have just told me that they didn't have the experience in cleaning silk, instead, she insulted the garment, which I had hand made and sewn.

Will never come back or recommend to anyone. Forgot to post this review when the incident happened back in October but was just reminded when looking at my tie again. Brought a Burberry tie in to get cleaned and some wrinkles out. However once I received my tie back, to my shock, without being informed of anything, my tie had a "Hugo Boss" tag on the back instead of the Burberry one. I contacted the store and they said that this sometimes happened with their machine destroying tags if they needed to unstitch the tie but I was never told of this risk nor was the problem brought to my attention until I called and complained. Almost as if they were just hoping I wouldn't notice? When dealing with a tie of this price the value automatically drops to $0 if it doesn't even have the proper tag sewed into it but despite explaining this on the phone I was offered no compensation and instead was told they would call me back which never happened.
