Amazing food!!!!! Their steaks here are fantastic. Comparible to Gibbys restaurant. Everything I've tasted here has not disappointed. And if you like French onion soup as a starter... try theirs... delicious!!!! I promise you will not leave here hungry.

Food presented aside is very standard, mushroom cooked in butter, boiled vegetables, ordinary fries. Feel underwhelming when presented next to a decent piece of meat.

Very expensive for what it is. I went with a group and was't that hungry so i asked a salad . They refused. which i found unfair. So i spent 60 $ and got desappointed with the quality of the food for that price.

Food was good, service was adequate. Should have realized it was an office party night when i saw the 6 square meters of dance floor and the DJ. Will give a good review once I've tried it without the full nightclub experience with the waspy 55-60 years olds.

The taste and quality of the food is definitely not worth the price. It lacks flavour and seasoning. Also the chairs were dirty, at that price point I’m expecting to as least have clean and non-sticky chairs. I HIGHLY suggest going going to The Keg for a similar (even a bit cheaper) price and way better tasting food. Because you’re honestly just paying for the cute little presentation they do on the plates at Steakhouse St-Charles, which isn’t worth at the end because the food is so bland.

Service was so-so... had a slice of roast-like beaf and it was tasteless with no sauce and 1/3 of the slice was fat... plate was real hot wich kept cooking my medium-rare meal after it was searved. I had no expectations other than the price and it was not worth 60$.

Portions are great, excellent variety in the menue. Service is good. Loved it. I will probably come back and with the offer at costco you pay 80$ and you get a 2 gift certificates of 50$. Nice wine selection starting at 10$ more than saq price and it goes over to 200$. Portions sont bonnes, la variété du menu est excellente . Le service est bon. Nous allons probablement revenir.

Food and service are really nice. Space between tables and on tables are good, you don't feel crowded. Pricey but the food quality is on par with the price. I recommend it.

Service was awkward maybe because we were with kids she didn't give it her best. She served from the left and across the table but knew exactly what to say to suggest a wine and when we took a lower end bottle she was gracious. The food was hit or miss, I had the lamb and it was excellent but my husband's bavette was blue. He asked for medium rare and flank steak is not really the cut you want undercooked, it was too hard to eat so he left it in the plate but when she cleared the plates she didn't even open the conversation about how we enjoyed our meal, she just left with the plates. We didn't have dessert.

I'm not sure where to begin. I was very disappointed by Steakhouse St-Charles. My drink (an Old Fashioned) was small and I wish I could say it was flavourless but it was not. Unfortunatley it was undrinkable. I,M not sure how they made it but there was about an ounce of a clear liquid in the glass with a cherry and an orange zest. By far one of the worst drinks I have ever had. After one sip I returned it and had a beer to get the taste out of my mouth. The mixed salad was very bland, missing alot of seasoning. My filet mignon tartare was good but worth 37$. The filet mignon was served with a half zucchinni and a whole boiled carrot. Not even sure what to say. Our carrot cake was good but the crème brûlée was like eating a yellow, flavourless Jell-O. This was an expensive meal that was not worth the price. Go to the KEG or spend a bit more and go to Gibby's. I will not go back.

We go multiple times a year, this hidden gem has amazing varieties of tartares. The beef was our favorite but also the fusion (mix of salmon and tuna). Their filet mignons are delicious and juicy. Always come out satisfied.

The neutral - Restaurant is weirdly located at the “back” of a strip mall. The bad - First table they assigned us was broken as the folding extension part wouldn’t stay closed and kept hitting us in the leg. Calamari appetizer is the pre battered frozen kind and tasted like freezer burn. The good - 14oz New York cut steak was cooked to perfection and tasted really good. Service was attentive and impeccable.

Disappointed. Not worth the price, not worth the service. The hostess seemed confused with what to do with us as we walked in (we were 2 people) and kept speed walking back and forth, we stood there waiting for quite a while and yet the place wasn't packed, hence our confusion for the long wait time to be seated. Not a welcoming feeling, not a good first impression. Service was slow, friendly but slow. Thought it was just us but we witnessed a table walk out after waiting a while to pay for their bill too. We almost did the same thing but needed the machine to pay. They seemed to be understaffed, which might explain this. Steaks are great but unjustified by the price as it seems overpriced. Overall experience, would I go back? No.

Now, Normally I don't go to steak houses, Simply because a great steak (usually) better than which ever establishment you're going to can be achieved easily at home. But this joint hit me over the head a little with some serious nostalgia. It really reminded me of the chop houses my parents would take me to when visiting the USA. We've actually came 3 times so far. I m an old school guy and they make a killer prime rib, slowly roasted and served in its own jus. Sided with classic roasted veg and mashed. CLASSIC!! They do have some really cool table side services where meat is flambé right infront of you. Which in a normal context I would find kinda gimmicky. But I think it really fits in the vibe going on here, It definitely gets the guests attention in the dinning room. My wife really loved the tartare and the other seafood dishes really are on point too. But if your craving a hunk of beef in the winter or anytime really you won't go hungry or disappointed. AND if you wanna cut down that bill even more, swing by costco they have 100$ gift certificates for 75$.
