Peg is truly amazing!! My dress had an illusion back that caused issues with alterations. The buttons on my dress had nothing to stabilize them, so the mesh layer was starting to rip. Peg came up with a solution to add a ribbon on the back of my dress to ensure there was support and that it would not rip. This solution worked out great!! We had a lot of visits to Peg’s house, even after I took my dress home for a last minute fix. She was always willing to see me and did hundreds of pins and tucks, and the result was amazing! Peg always offered suggestions on ways to save money. I ended up not hemming my dress and wore a mermaid skirt underneath and was able to save at least $200 with that suggestion. I highly recommend Peg for an affordable and very proficient seamstress!

I am so happy I first saw recommendations for Peg Kennedy on NextDoor (neighborhood website). I had two long formals hemmed by her and she did the hemming quickly while I waited and her pricing and her technique were both fantastic. I compared the hems she made on these dresses to another long dress I had hemmed a couple of years ago by a different local tailor, and Peg's hems look so much nicer as she did a beautiful rolled hem. I highly recommend using her services if you have a daughter that needs a prom formal hemmed...my dresses turned out great (to wear on a cruise)! I had a nice chat too with her while she hemmed my dresses and she obviously has years of experience and knowledge. I will plan on using her again for any alterations!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Peg and her work! Peg is INCREDIBLE! She altered my illusion dress so perfectly and added 3 different types of bustles (post ceremony/pictures, first dances, “wild dance”). With all the bustles and difficult alteration with the illusion dress, my total cost for alterations was only $300. Peg also somehow made my wedding dress comfortable!!
