Dropped off a $475 jacket for cleaning for the first time. Ruined. Bled colours and feathers coming out of the seams. Logo ruined. Multiple calls and emails unreturned. I stopped by in person and was assured a call back. Left my jacket for the owner to see. No call back and now they are in possession of my jacket as well. Will be taking to small claims court. Worst drycleaning experience of my life. Go elsewhere

If you are considering using this company to clean your wedding gown/heirloom clothing DO NOT PROCEED! I was recently married and have a gorgeous lace gown (no beading or rhinestones) purchased from the Bridal House. Following our wedding I immediately wanted my gown cleaned as we were planning on a second photography session and I needed to rid the gown of a little dirt/grass from the hem as well as some mascara on the bust (both sides) from hugging a guest. Due to the time constraints I contacted the bridal shop and inquired about the company they recommend/work with for cleaning their clients' gowns. I was told it was Unique Cleaners in St. Albert. After considering to take the gown directly there myself, I decided to go through the Bridal House as they have the rapport built with the cleaner and I therefore anticipated my gown would be returned to me like new. My thought process was clearly very naive. After a week I received a call that my dress was ready to be picked up. Happily I went to the bridal shop and once the garment bag was opened I noticed the mascara was not completely removed! For $300.00 my expectation is that ALL stains would be removed and the required care/attention taken. This wasn't a stain that was even that terrible. I refused to take my dress stating my concerns to the Bridal House. They liaised with Unique Cleaners and had it done a second time. When I returned to pick the gown up again it was noted that most of the mascara had been removed but not all. I was told the cleaner was afraid to work on it any more as they may have damaged the lace. Fair enough, I paid my second $150 and took it home not inspecting it until I put it on for my photos this past Saturday. To my (and my mother's) horror my wedding gown is completely covered in snags/pulls of the tulle and lace. It is horrendous. I went through my wedding day plus an additional photo session and did not personally snag it once on anything. To put your trust in a company and have it returned in such a terrible state is beyond disheartening. To top it off I had to pay $300 for this crummy service and now I need to figure out how this damage can all be repaired. Beware, think more than twice about taking anything here to be cleaned. Bridal House, you need to consider another cleaning company to partner with and trust. Unique Cleaners, you do not deserve the single star I had to select in order to post this.

This was my first time using the Unique Cleaners in St. Albert. I went to pick up my items two days after they were to be ready. When I went to obtain the items and after ten minutes of searching for said items, the employee found that the items had not been cleaned at all, this was two days after the items were due to be completed. I asked the employee to discuss the matter with her boss in respect to having the charge waived, as these items had to be done on time. I returned exactly seven days later. I asked about the fee being waived due to what had occurred and the employee stated there would not only be no waive of the fee, but no reduction whatsoever. I would avoid this dry cleaner!!!

Had the button on my jeans fixed there, button popped off after wearing twice. Took my jeans to get repaired again, older woman literally told me they never fixed them. This is the first dryer cleaner and only dry cleaner I've used in st albert. So I know they attempted to fix them. Lady was very rude. Edit: To your response, I just checked my bank statement. I paid $61.81 on November 6th ... obviously I paid for something at your establishment. I would rather throw my jeans in the trash then return to your "business"!

I had used this dry cleaner many times for very straightforward items ( duvets, silk shirts, etc.). I recently brought in a pair of cream coloured cotton "rag and bone" pants with leather inserts. When I came to pick up the pants I was charged $35, I paid and left. The pants were hung inside out on the hanger, which I thought was odd, but not a big deal. I returned home, turned the pants to face correctly and was horrified to see that they were ruined. The black leather insert on the right leg had obviously had a product used on it that caused it to run on to the leg and big black smudges were all over the rest of the pants. I immediately returned to the dry cleaner and showed a young lady employee (who I soon found out was the daughter) the pants. She called her father (the owner), who then talked to me. After a long conversation he insisted the ruined pants were not his fault. He claimed to have tried to call me but there were no messages on my machine and no record of his phone number on my phone's memory display. I asked why the pants were hung inside out and no note was attached---he had no explanation. He wanted me to return the next day to observe him redoing the cleaning and witness him further ruining the pants. I refused. He would not refund my money even though he did not actually clean my pants. Beware.

Not a good place at all. They didnt pay me the wage i was told when i was hired. Called me stupid talkeddown to me like a lower class. Now wont mail out my t4. Customers came in often complaining about quality of work including repairs. DO NOT RECOMEND.

Ruined my husband's brand new (worn once and not a spec of dirt on it) Tommy Bahamas silk shirt. Took it to them to have it freshened up because it can't be machine washed and got it back with white blotches all over it. They said it wasn't their fault but we know it was. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY with your dry cleaning!

The communication between staff and clientele is unacceptable. Informed the employee to have management call with a price quote before cleaning the wedding dress. Did not receive a call until after the dress was cleaned and was told that it would be $350 .00. After calling and speaking with one of the owners which actually hung up on me. Will be reporting to the BBB. Very unprofessional business.

Worst place ever. The owner and employees a terrible to deal with. Products are constantly damaged and this company is too cheap to stand behind their work and refund you or work to fix their mistakes. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Ever!! Tell all your friends and family!

Great Dry Cleaners, always quick and very efficient. They always have my clothes done on time and always do a wonderful job. I would Highly recommend them as they also don’t use harsh chemicals and are environmentally friendly. Another highlight is that they are friendly, courteous and extremely helpful with all my dry cleaning needs. Thank you for your great service!!!!!

Great people, great service. First time I stumbled across them was by chance, I stopped by the ESSO station to get some gas for my vehicle. I live not far from here so seeing there is a drycleaner there, I stopped in to ask for price on cleaning some shirts. Very nice clean space and friendly greeting by staff, not only gave me the pricing but also offered me suggestions on cleaning some stubborn grass stains I had on one of my shirts. So I went home, got my laundry and came back the same day. I picked up my shirts next day, the stain was all gone, I can't believe it. Shirts were nicely pressed and packed, clean and ready. I came in by chance but I keep coming back by choice. Best dry cleaners in St. Albert.

unfortunately my experience at Unique Cleaners was anything but satisfactory, My $300 duvet was returned to me matted and ripped in numerous places. Customer satisfaction - there was NONE!!!!! I was told it was my fault and to GET OUT!!!!! No compensation offered.

We took my wife’s wedding dress here to have a stain looked at to see if they could remove it. We asked the lady roughly how much it would cost she said she didn’t know she would have to talk to the manger first we said ok can you please let us know before going ahead with it. They never got back to us my wife went to the store and they said it wasn’t done and they had to send it to a different store. She again asked how much it was going to cost still no price. We then get a phone call saying it’s done and we owe $375. We never asked to have it done we go to pick up the only to have a bill for $420 this time they said they discounted it because it was done on time. We never actually agreed to have it done. I contacted to owner who was very rude on the phone and hung up on me. I don’t know how these people are still in business. If I could have given zero stars I would have. Update: I went in to the store to speak to the owner directly who hung up on. I tried to explain to them that we only want to know how much it would cost to have the stain removed before having anything done. The owner then accused my wife of being a liar that she never asked for a price either times she spoke to them. The disrespect from this business is unreal. Please avoid at all cost.

I dropped off my jacket to get dry cleaned and I ended leaving some cash in it by mistake, and they called me right away and told me about it and I had received it back with my jacket. They are super professional, and honest and it was such an impeccable experience for me. They also did a really good job with my jacket and were super quick. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely HORRIBLE place!! I took my very expensive dress there to get dry cleaned they ruined it and said it was not their fault! The owner so rude to deal with refusing to replace me dress. DO NOT go to this place!!
