It is hard to write this review because I felt I had a terrible experience with a person, and not necessarily a terrible experience with the work done. I came to this company due to highly recommended reviews from other brides from the wedding buy and sell Facebook pages. They were not wrong in how much experience and the quality of the alterations Mariellen delivered. However; I felt that I could not communicate what I envisioned to Mariellen without her getting frustrated and exasperated with me, so it was very difficult to get these alterations done. When the sewing of a particular feature of my dress was done, it was not what I had envisioned and I found it difficult to speak up and tell her that until it was too late. I take full responsibility for that. When I asked her if she could tweak / redo the work that was done, she got so irate and started speaking to me in a tone and with an attitude that made me cry. After about a week I ended up calling her back and she spoke with me to try and mitigate the issue and I felt that was handled better than the first encounter, and my dress was altered to exactly the way I wanted it to be. If the situation was handled better, even if she had charged me more for having to redo her work, I would have been happier. I would suggest that brides who are indecisive or non confrontational to find someone else. As well, when you go to see Mariellen, she has a number of staff that work for her, so the turn around times are great Based on my experience 2/5 stars, based on the quality of work 4/5 stars.

I received alterations on my wedding dress in the winter of 2020, and there were a few to do to say the least. I had ordered some extra fabric from Studio Levana (where my dress was from) and they sent it to me. I asked Maryellen if she could make me some sleeves for my dress and she said no problem! The sleeves make the dress and it truly made my dress perfect for my winter wonderland setting. Maryellen also completed a breast reduction, added bussell buttons that were perfect, added cups, shortened the corset and the length of the dress. Maryellen is professional, a very sweet lady and reasonably priced for the quality of work. Thanks Maryellen!

If you're looking for someone to trustu with your WEDDING DRESS - Mariellen is wonderful! She's very straightforward and honest, professional and has great workmanship. I had my wedding dress altered by Mariellen and her and her team did a wonderful job. She has very fair pricing which really helps with a princess dress. My dress has 5 layers and has a cathedral length train. I LOVED that my bustle was not puffy! Especially with all those layers. Mariellen and her team did an amazing job. Thank you so much for your wonderful work !

I had my wedding dress altered by Mariellen and her team and the entire experience was amazing!! My dress turned out even more perfect then I had imagined!! Every time I went in for a fitting Mariellen was very kind and would keep me up to date with the progress of the alterations. Her pricing is very reasonable.
