After a disastrous breakfast the previous morning at a different restaurant that shall remain nameless. We were desperate for a decent start to the day. Main Street Cafe delivered! Food was fresh, delicious and just the right amount. Very busy but the staff were attentive and very pleasant. It is well worth the wait to be seated. When in Revy, dont stop on the hiway go into town, your tummy will thank you!

The breakfasts here are pretty unbeatable. The bennies are poached to order perfectly, and all of the fare is made with care. Inside an old home, the layout of Main Street Cafe is creative and eclectic. Clean and uncluttered just off the beaten path in downtown Revy. Served by Xena Warrior Princess - at least that’s what it said on the bill - she was invested in our meal, and took great care of us. I can’t say enough about this team. Every time I return to Revy I can’t go without a brekkie or lunch here.

Overpriced for breakfast, but a nice patio in a good location. Our food came somewhat cold, and the crepes are not enough food for an adult man. We had been biking all weekend so we were hungry! I gave half my breakfast to my husband out of pity, which meant that I had one egg, the whites not totally set. Ha. I'd check it out for lunch exit time, but hit the bakery up for breakfast before this cafe again.

We ordered the cheesy apple French toast, and it was a tad too sweet as it was drenched w maple syrup. The egg omelette was great and delicious, it came with toast and potatoes roasted to perfection. The fish tacos and soup of the day were merely alright. Overall I would say go for the omelette!

Best place in Revy for coffee and breakfast!! The morning burritos (egg, saussage or bacon) with their homemade spicy ketchup is perfection in a rap. The amazing waitress/hostess offered to insert the hash brown in the rap because were taking it to go. We snowboarded all day and did not have to stop for lunch. we went back every morning before heading to the mountain ... I think It gave us extra energy lol Well not just the food but also the fine quality people who works there. Big thanks!

A paradise, the light at the end of the tunnel if you are stuck as I was in a snow storm on the highway. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm and cozy, moreover, the restaurant is really well furnished and it makes you feel at home

Awful experience. The waitress/superviser was rude and aggressive as soon as we arrived. Then we waited 40 minutes for a club sandwich without being given any information. When we asked about our meal she became even more aggressive and started to address us in a very impertinent way. Even the other clients were shocked! We are quite the polite and nice kind of of clients, and I must say that we have never been treated in such a disrespectful way in a restaurant. We were no longer hungry and this ruined our whole day in Revelstoke.

We both had the Huevos rancheros for breakfast: Crunchy tortillas smothered with beans & salsa, and topped with two perfectly cooked eggs, pico de gallo, sour cream and cilantro. Came with home fried potatoes and fruit as well. Very healthy, hearty and filling. Perfect way to fill up before our ski day!

This has been my favorite breakfast spot in Revelstoke for 10 years running. A few years ago now it got new owners and the already great food and great atmosphere got even better while the friendly, familiar, service stayed exactly the same. Feels almost like eating at a friends house and has great mix of breakfast and lunch items. Also, this place has a great patio for people watching and enjoying one of their specialty coffees in the warmer months.

We went for a nice breakfast we were sat inside and then watched as every table around us got served for about 15 minutes. Then as soon as new tables started coming in they got menus and waters right away before anyone even looked at us so we walked out.

Do NOT go here!!! Horrible service!!! Worse management! My husband and I arrived at the Main Street Cafe for lunch on August 20th about 12:15pm. There was a brief reasonable wait for a table. We waited a reasonable time frame for e menu and ordered a cappuccino and a glass of skim milk - and the Fish Tacos and Eggs Benedict. The coffee and milk arrived after 15 minutes - the food never did. We waited nearly an hour and a half and watched while the people seated after us received their food orders. The server came to us after an hour and said “I will go check on your order it shouldn’t be long now” she never cam back to tell us anything - was there a mix up, something went sideways- nothing - just ignored us or took the approach we would sit there like bumps on a log for another half hour ...We had enough of waiting and decided to pay for the coffee - my husband never drank the milk. Rather than recognizing the unreasonable wait and forgiving the price of the coffee - they charged us $7.00!! Just don’t go. Poor, poor service and poor management.

Always a favorite of ours when in Revelstoke. Their Eggs Benny is second to none. Try the Cheese and Chives biscuit under the bacon and spinach classic, so good. The skillet with squeaky cheese is full of wicked flavours. Sourdough toast is perfect with jelly or jam.

Huevos Rancheros and Sunrise Skillet were delicious and portions were perfect. Coffee was not very good. It tasted old or maybe instant. The Organic English Breakfast tea was very nice. The Friendly waitress was running ragged by herself, and so service was lacking somewhat…ie. no refills offered for coffee or hot water for tea. Very cold sitting by the door which was constantly opened by patrons or waitress to service outside, but it was so busy at 830am, there was no choice for seating. Great options for vegetarians! We would go again. We were asked for vaccination proof and id.

This is an amazing little cafe, just five minutes drive from highway 1 but far far better food than than the tasteless mass produced rubbish on offer at the petrol stations. I had a delicious smoked salmon bagle which came a generous portion of salad. My husband opted for scrambled eggs and ham which came without cheese ( a novelty in a country that puts cheese on everything!) If you have a bit time it is well worth exploring Revelstoke which is a very pleasant town in its own right.

We went there for breakfast and it was so good! I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and it was so delicious. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly done and the entire meal was very satisfying. The actual cafe is a beautiful building (I believe a historic site?). They also had the cutest salt and pepper shakers on the table that were JackO Lanterns! Overall would definitely recommend!

Great little bistro in downtown Revelstoke. It's set in a house on the corner with indoor seating on both levels and outdoor seating on the patio. They will also accomodate dogs on the patio, which was really nice. The menu consists of breakfast, brunch and lunch items; breakfast is served all day. All lunch items come with the soup-of-the-day and the prices are extremely reasonable ($11 avg per lunch item). I had the Bahn mi, which was absolutely fantastic. The soup of the day was Yam & Ginger, and that was also really tasty. Definitely will come here again.

Cozy café with stellar eggs benedict and specialty coffees! I had the west coast Benny and my fiancé had the classic Benny with bacon and avocado. The eggs were soft poached, everything was so fresh and perfectly balanced; Likely the best we've ever had! The server mentioned that the hollandaise is made from scratch in house without flour so it is gluten-free. I tried the Golden Milk latté for something different (it includes tumeric, cinnamon, black pepper, and coconut oil, to name a few). I liked it and would likely try the London fog next time. The coffee was great too. It took a little over half an hour to get our food, but the place was packed during the lunch hour and our server gave us a heads up that there may be a 30 min wait, so we were expecting it. The staff were great and down to earth. Wish there had been more patio seating, but the interior was neat anyways. Absolutely recommend stopping in here!

I had high expectations for this place because of all the high review, but I was left very disappointed. We waited 45 mins for the food to arrive and that would have been okay if the food was tasty. However, the food was super bland. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork Benny and the pork was dry and had not taste to it at all. I had other pulled pork Benny before at other breakfast establishment and this is by far the worst one I had tasted. Food definitely looks better than it taste.
