Arrived on a Friday just after 5 pm. Hours have changed - no longer open any evening or weekends. This will make it very difficult to access services. Stores in Bower Mall should be open when the mall is open. No reason to be closed on weekends.

Poor customer service. Switched out the zipper pull on my jacket with a cheaper one and then lied about it. Also charged me $20 for something that took her 3 minutes.

Totally ruined an expensive bikini top of my gf, the job was simple. Add a lining. I don't know how to sew, but could have done a better job. Gloria, I am coming back in the next few days and you're paying for a new top. It's embarrassing how terrible it was, this is not the first time. I should have known better.

Seemed slightly rude and I thought the prices were quite high. Just had some simple curtains that needed to be hemmed. The hemming was going to cost more than the curtains. When I said yah that's to much I'll check around and see what else there is, she just left the front desk...

I hate leaving a negative review but I have no choice. This has to be shared. I recently lost a significant amount of weight. As a result I have a few suits etc that no longer fit. Because dress clothes are so expensive I decided to have my favorite suit and one extra sport coat altered to fit once again. My suit was a slim fit and I asked Gloria Alterations to make it a fitted suit again. I was assured this would be no problem, they sized me and told me it would be ready in a week. Same with the sport coat. I had to pay $126 upfront and I did. A week later I returned, tried on my clothes and was shocked. The suit pants...one leg was so tight it hardly fit over my leg and the other leg was as loose as when I brought it in. The lady apologized and stated she would redo the pants. I then tried on the suit jacket and my sport coat and both were still far too big. I was told that is the smallest they could make it. This upset me. I came in and asked them if they could fit it to my body, they said yes. The measured me and assured me it would be done to my liking. If I knew upfront that they could not alter the suit jacket and the sport coat I never would have spent the money. I went back to get the pants and the leg part of the pants are better but the upper half is a disaster. It looks so bad that I will never wear those pants. I spent $126 and they ruined a great suit. Unfortunately the staff are fine with saying "we did what we could". Yet this could all have been avoided if they were honest when I came in and asked if they could help me. Gloria Alterations took $126 from me and I am left 3 pieces of clothing that are ruined.

If I could give zero stars I would... We have used Gloria's a fair bit in the past for various alterations. However we can very safely say that we will never be back. We brought her a brand new pair of silk PJ pants to be hemmed and when we went to pick them up, the pants had visible burn marks on them from an iron. We talked with Gloria and she agreed to give the money back for the garment so long as we brought in the matching top so that she could have full possession of the garment. We went back a few days later and brought in the matching top and then she went back on her word and blamed the marks on body lotion?? When the garment was brand new and never worn? Piss poor business owner and obviously values $60 for a garment over 2 customers who have used her business for years. We will be taking our business elsewhere where we are appreciated as customers and our garments will be worked on by people who actually know how to perform their jobs competently.

I cannot say enough good things about Gloria's Alterations! They took my dress that had been destroyed by another place and they completely fixed it, all within a week due to a wedding time crunch. I came in so upset and stressed, and they were amazing! I will definitely be a repeat customer. She fixed all of the mistakes that the other tailor did, and the dress looks absolutely fantastic!

I purchased a down winter jacket that arrived with a cut in it. I dropped in on a busy Friday afternoon and spoke with Dabi. She was so friendly and helpful! The material of the jacket and placement of the cut made it impossible to patch or sew back together. Dabi was able to seal the cut with glue right on the spot, she saved the jacket and did an amazing job. I am a very happy customer.

If I can give them zero star I would because they do not deserve one star. The owner and her workers are very rude and unfriendly. I went in to get my zippers fixed and they were very expensive. I was told to pay upfront first and wait one week for a job that would take 5 minutes to fix. I refused to pay for a job that has not been done, the owner said she would not fix my zippers for me and sent me out of her store. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE, they lack customer service.

My husband went to go pick his pants up that he left with them a week ago to hem. A week later and they are still not done, they asked him to come back this afternoon.....but you've had them all week!!!
