I found Mensan's shop through his 5 star Google reviews and I found them to be extremely accurate. He did an excellent job with significant adjustments to a jacket for a wedding. He not only made the changes I was looking for, but suggested a few other alterations to improve the fit overall. The experience was quick and his customer service excellent. I will be coming back!

Please come get your clothes tailored here. Mensan did an incredible job. Ordered my suit online for my wedding due to COVID, and it ended up fitting horribly. Mensan was able to rebuild the entire suit 3 weeks before the day, and did an incredible job. He is passionate, knowledgeable, and cares deeply about his craft. Found out today that he does custom clothing as well, so I will be getting a suit from him next. Prices are great too, you won’t be disappointed!

Ottawa France Tailor is arguably the best tailor in Ottawa. The owner, Mensan, is a true master of his craft. A large majority of my wardrobe has undergone alternations at his shop. It's rather difficult for me to find nice fitting clothing off the rack. Ottawa France Tailor has always been able to alter my clothes beyond my expectations. He takes the time to understand not only your body type but also the unique characteristics of your body to enhance how your clothes fit. Over the years, Ottawa France Tailor has crafted a number of bespoke shirts and pants for me. Not to mention my wedding outfit, as well a number of pieces for my wife and my son. The process is quite fascinating when dealing with Mensan, first he gives you a lesson on fabrics, style and fashion. In almost a magical way, he guides you through the process, while listening to your ideas for designs and recommending different ways to enhance the final product. It takes hours to truly master a task and it really shows when you come out of Ottawa France Tailor. His skills are complemented by his passion and the end result is always something incredible. I highly recommend Ottawa France Tailor for alterations and especially bespoke designs.

Very skilled and professional tailoring! I got my Burberry trench coat tailored by Mensan and he did an amazing job on tapering and shortening my sleeves. I like how his craftsmanship makes it seem like the coat has not been altered and came straight from the manufacture. Ottawa France Tailoring is #1 in Ottawa. I had met Mensan when he was starting to get back into tailoring as he had moved from France to Canada. He has his education in tailoring from France and was taught how to look at clothing as the facade of the body. His level of detail from how the clothes is made to how it fits on his clients body is phenomenal. I had him alter overcoats, dress shirts, suits, jeans, etc. My first clothing that was altered is my Ted Baker over coat. That was around 4 years ago and I still wear it to this day. Mensan is a great guidance for fashion as he understand how clothes should fit and how one should wear it. He has help me develop my professional career as he has taught me what colours to wear in the office and type of styles to wear to make positive first impressions.

Mensan is an artist with a sewing machine. I took a chance on him 1 time, altering a sport coat that was just too big for me, and he made it fit like a glove. Since then I just don't bother going anywhere else, because I know he can handle whatever I throw at him because he can handle the complicated stuff. Brilliant, he should be teaching everyone else how to alter clothing.
