Been a loyal customer for over 12 years. The ladies at this boutique have an incredible understanding of their craft. And not only are they skilled but they are very friendly and helpful too. The employees at Lucy's take on any challenge you can throw at them. They also offer a wide selection of prom and evening dresses, and are able to alter them to fit you perfectly. I live in Toronto so it is quite the commute but is defiantly worth it. You won't find a better place than this.

Purchased my daughter's prom dress at Lucy's and it was a 5 star experience from the start! At first you may think that it is only an alteration shop but she has a limited but beautiful selection of dresses with many more styles and selections to choose from by ordering. The dress came in within weeks and the alterations were done quickly and professionally perfect. Be sure to check out this hidden gem for formal and bridal wear. There is also a children's section. The prices are very reasonable compared to larger stores and the service is impeccable!

So helpful! I went in to get help with a dress that I thought needed alteration, and turns out it didn't (it was a manufacturer defect) - they were able to inspect the stitching and show me. Ban saved my wedding day!!!! With 3.5 weeks until my wedding day my dress needed some major alterations done! Keep in mind my dress had already been "altered" by the boutique i purchased it from and it cost me over $900. The dress was altered poorly but I did not want to go back to adjust as they told me it would cost me more money. So, I took my dress to Lucy's and immedialty Ban said she would save my dress and not break my wallet.. AND SHE WAS RIGHT! My dress was very intricate and is fully covered in sequins. 1.5 weeks later I went in to try the dress and it was almost perfect..last minute I decided this dress needed to be strapless SO that is exactly what Ban did. Within just a few hours Ban transformed my strapless unfitting dress into the strapless DRESS OF MY DREAMS! Thanks to Ban I had the most amazing dress I could have ever possibly dreamed of. Lucy’s masks are beautifully made and fit perfectly with ideal 3 layer coverage. I have three of her masks and enjoy wearing each one. They are very comfortable with easily adjustable soft elastic for around your ears and a nose piece you can mould perfectly to give a snug fit. Lots of colours and patterns to choose from. What a fantastic store! When I first booked my appointment they were BEYOND nice and accommodating. They moved around their schedule to make sure I was able to come in. I had a very specific date and time crunch and they made it work. While on the phone they also gave me some fantastic wedding advice and timelines for a dress, who to bring and when.. PLENTY of information. I had gone in with both my mother and mother in law to look for a wedding dress and they were ready as soon as we stepped in. Having had no luck the previous day, I had felt discouraged to continue shopping. The ladies within this store were so kind and asked really insightful questions to understand my style. What was different from them to the previous bridal boutique we had went to, was that they started selecting dresses after I provided feedback. Not selecting dresses they thought I would like. They LISTENED. Not once did I feel judged for how I felt if I liked or didn't like parts of specific dresses and after 4 dresses they pulled out the one I ended up choosing. THEY found and selected it. I didn’t have to. It was magical. My mother in law picked up my dress for me a few weeks later and they had taken such care and detail to ensure it was flawless. Even sewed in some blue for good luck. I have a few more fittings and alterations before the big date next year and feel in very good hands with them. I came in feeling lost and left saying yes. Thank you so much for making this an experience any woman would hope for! I can’t wait to be back.

Ben was simply the best! Since I live out of the country, I had a very last minute alterations needed for my wedding dress. Not only did she work quickly (under three weeks) to get the alterations done but she suggested we change the whole top part of the dress and was able to get that done beautifully for my wedding day. On top of all that, she made me a gorgeous jacket with very little fabric and creatively managed to use the beautiful trimming for the edge. The sisters that own this store are absolutely so lovely and their attention to detail is superb! I bought silk fabric in Toronto and asked them to create the bow and train of my dreams for my wedding dress! The knocked it out of the park, and the bow is the real showcase of this dress. They even added in a simple but elegant pearl belt which is also removable to I can wear it again and again. Lucy (I'm assuming) was able to shorten a difficult hem with sequins and bead work and she recommended adjustments to take the sleeves from dowdy to fabulous. This was the second time I’ve come here and both experiences have been amazing. I bought and altered my Grade 8 grad dress four years ago and Bhan did an amazing job with the alterations. My sister also bought her confirmation dress here this year and Bhan was so helpful in changing it to how she wanted it. She has an awesome selection and is so helpful and caring. I bought a very expensive prom dress online and it was too big and I was so worried for my prom, but I brought it to Bhan and she fixed it up so nicely. Totally worth every penny I paid. I have taken a few dresses to Ban and the team at Lucy's, and each time has been a wonderful experience! She knows what she is talking about, and gives fair pricing on the work that has to be done. I knew after the first bridesmaid dress I took to her turned out perfectly that I would be bringing her my own wedding dress, and she did not disappoint. The first visit she pinned and adjusted everything, and when I went in 2 weeks later it was done, perfect. We were also able to rent a crinoline from her instead of buying one, which saved us money and time. When I brought my bridesmaids dress for my sister's wedding in, Ban went above and beyond to make sure it was done on time and with care, even giving me a tip to seal my sparkly shoes I will continue to bring my business here.

I used to come here for my kid's uniform alterations for years. They grew up and I no longer needed Lucy's as often. It had been well before covid since I had been in. I recently showed up with a few things and one very complicated item. As usual Lucy welcomed me with open arms. Took in my items including the one she probably didn't want to take and handed me my slip. Today I went to pick up my things. I didn't even notice the "closed" sign & rang the bell. She came to the door despite being closed and again with that big smile welcomed me & gave me my things which of course were handled with expertise and look great. I've been going there for probably 15 years and she is the best. Never has disappointed. Hard working and great at what she does!!!!!

If I could give them six stars I would! I went in to have my wedding dress altered and, since I had purchased the dress all the way back in 2019 and I wanted to have the corset back removed completely, I knew this wasn't an easy job. Or at least it wouldn't be for most. They did such an amazing job and I only went in for ONE fitting! I am absolutely thrilled with the alterations, I had such a great experience and my dress is perfect. I can't wait to wear it in December 2021. I also can't get over the attention to detail, they thought of everything - and as a bride it was so reassuring to know I was in good hands.

My daughter and her best friend had a last minute opportunity to have photos taken in their prom dresses and both needed considerable alterations. My experience with Eman and Lucy's Bridal was exceptional. The wedding dress I purchased 2 years ago did not fit after 3 wedding postponements and some extra weight during COVID. The ladies were with me every step of the way taking out seams to make the dress fit, and then bringing them all back in when I lost the weight for the wedding. They have beautiful gowns here including bridal as well as the portion of their business where they do alterations. I came here because of many recommendations for this place and they were right. I came in with a dark spring jacket and didn't like the white lapel and wanted it changed as well as taking it in down the side and getting rid of the gathered bottom. She did a fantastic job and I've since brought in other things to be altered as well! Both ladies are very friendly and easy to talk to. My work done seemed slightly expensive but you get what you pay for and you want to know that you don't need to worry about the outcome and that is the case here. I highly recommend them!

As every bride can imagine, the most stressful part of the wedding dress “experience” is putting your precious gown in the hands of someone else to alter it. What if something goes wrong? You have to look perfect on the most important day of your life, but you also don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it. I found Lucy’s through google reviews after filtering alterations places that had a 4.0 or higher star rating. The location is super close to my home so I decided to check it out. From the first day my sister and I went there to get our dresses looked at, the ladies were super friendly and accommodating even though we didn’t have an appointment booked. They had us try on our dresses first then asked what we wanted to alter and what our budget was. They have many pictures from past brides up on their wall which gave us confidence that they knew what they were doing. They worked incredibly quickly and our first round of alterations were done within 2 weeks, even though Christmas holidays were in that time period. They were super helpful with suggestions but ultimately left the decisions to us as we were the ones that would have to wear the dress in the end. At one point I accidentally pricked my finger on a pin while being fitted for cups, and got some blood on my white dress. She immediately took the dress to the back and knew exactly how to clean it without ruining the fabric which took so much stress off of me. When we picked up the dresses after the final rounds of alterations, everything fit perfectly and looked amazing. There was no loose seam work or errors on either dress. They worked within our budget and also offer crinoline rentals if you want to wear one under your gown. Check these ladies out if you live in or near Oakville!

To say I was anxious about leaving my dress in someone’s hands to alter it is an understatement, but at Lucy’s every single detail (no matter how big or small!) was considered and my mind was put at ease. Ban is an artist when it comes to alterations. I've had two evening gowns rebuilt (one that had to go two sizes down, the other that had to be let out two sizes) and they look incredible. She won't settle for anything less than perfect, which is why she's the only one I'm trusting to do the alterations on my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses. She had not only woven the fabric but had also shorn the sheep, carded, and spun the wool. Ban did all the repairs by hand knowing how special this coat is.
