Other drycleaners say they're "green" or "non-toxic" but all of them use different types of chemicals that are similar to gasoline and are carcinogenic. The main chemical that is used by most other drycleaners is called perchlorethylene. The wetcleaner doesn't use any of these chemicals, they use water based soaps and other similar methods to clean your clothes.

From the moment they answered the phone to them handing back our sparkling clean items, the staff were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Service, price, timing all exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Wet Cleaners.

Great quality cleaning. They take a long time to get dry-cleaning completed, but otherwise good service and staff.

WOW! All I can say is Thank you so much for the level of care and transparency. I was worried about dropping off my $1000 Hugo Boss blazer to get dry cleaned, but Wet Cleaners was recommended to me and I am grateful they were. The owner discussed everything I should be expecting and committed to dry cleaning my blazer by hand, as promised I picked up the blazer and it was shimmering new! Thank you so much you have certainly gained my loyalty and I will be back <3

Great service! I had a king -sized duvet cleaned and then a jacket. Both are fresh and clean and free of the toxic chemicals used by traditional dry cleaners. Service was prompt and friendly. Thanks!

Very impressed with their service. I took in a diving thermals that I had and were sprayed by the cat. In attempt to avoid replacing them which is roughly 800$ I took it to WetCleaners and couple days later it was cleaned and smelling great. Highly recommend this company!

My dress looks great. When I went to pick it up it wasn't ready and I wasn't given a discount. I also had a bad customer service experience, similar to the ones below. It was disappointing because I don't want to go to dry cleaners for the chemicals and now I don't feel I have anywhere to go...

The fact that they don’t use harmful chemicals should be enough to attract a person here over other cleaners - but why stop there!!!? The work they do is really high quality; the customer service is fantastic. Take your clothes here, trust me, just do it.

The WetCleaner was my first time getting a dress cleaned professionally. All of the staff are beyond friendly and extremely helpful. The owner was very charismatic and kind. I found their website easy to use and made the whole process convenient. I loved the online payments and The text notifications specifically. I will be using their services again in the future. Specifically, the home pickup and drop-off sound wonderful. Overall, I highly recommend.

Excellent turn around service. With a smile too! Thanks!

Got the shock of my life as he quoted the price of "$150.00 to clean because of the room it's going to take up." So my dovet is on its way to a cheaper place ( price)!

My experience with the wet cleaner is similiar to other reviews, as i was not pleased with there service. I regulary have had drycleaning for years and have personal favorite in town, but unfortunatly i moved and the wet cleaner was close by. I kind of already had a bad opinion of the wet cleaer from a friend. When they went to pick up there clothes, the employee said we have no bill, so we cant give you your clothes, and it was even the same employee that took the clothes in when they dropped them off !!, i thought thats just crazy. But because there close by, i tried them anyways to see for my self. Was not nearly as impressed as other places ive been. Types of stains that i see normally come out of my clothes from other drycleaners, they couldnt get out and i asked about how come other drycleaners can get them out, they told me its a different type of cleaning. Also the pressing wasnt the best either. Aswell i noticed there advertising isnt very proffesional, as they kinda talk bad about other places and put maniquins out side, which also kinda weird or little too much. After my first time i never went back, deffianlty not the best in my opinion. Now I just safe up my clothes and drive them to my preffered drycleaner.

Unfortunately, I can not recommend this establishment - response to a concern about service was very poor. My elderly mother brought in a quilt for cleaning after phoning the cleaner to make sure that the business had experience cleaning these types of quilts. The quilt was brand new but had an unpleasant odor having been stored in plastic for a few months. Not only did the cleaner not remove the odor, but they ruined the quilt (hole in cover, silk filling ruined, excessive shrinkage so that quilt no longer fit in duvet cover). When a call was made to the cleaner, the manager tried to put the blame on the product and repeatedly asked what my mother expected him to do. He offered no solution and when he was asked to provide a replacement ( as the item was brand new when brought to the cleaner), he said he needed a week to think about it but confirmed that he would call my mother back within the week. No phone call was received. My mother called back and spoke with the manager again - he recalled her situation immediately, but offered no explanation or apology for not calling her back within the week as previously confirmed. She again explained that the quilt was purchased in China with a cash transfer as credit cards are not widely used in China and that it had been ruined by the cleaner and told him again what the quilt had cost ($240, which is actually less than the replacement cost for an equivalent quilt in Canada). The manager asked her repeatedly (at least 5x) if she had a receipt and she kept advising him that she did not as the quilt had been purchased for her in China. Finally he said that he could buy a quilt for $100 on Alibaba and offered her a money transfer. By this point my mother was tired of fighting with him and accepted the offer. This cash amount is nowhere near what it will cost to replace this brand new high quality all season silk quilt and I also must keep in mind that she paid over $50 for the cleaning (!); no offer was ever made to refund this fee. All in all, a very very poor response to a justifiable complaint about poor service.

I dropped off a heavy cardigan and was told it would be ready in about 6 days. OK. When I went to pick it up it was still dirty. They agreed to clean it again and after another 6 days it was fine. I also dropped off a poncho. I pointed out a small grease stain and when I picked it up it was still there, not even diminished in the least. The total bill for this waste of time was $29. Won't be going back.

Worst dry cleaning experience any customer should have to suffer: It has taken me over two years to recover enough to trust another cleaner and write this review. I suffered not only the ruining of my coat, but insults and the owner's pretence to being threatened because I'm dark skinned. I took my pink Zara coat I purchased at the Zara store in Seattle Washington for $180 USD (I found the receipt!) only having worn it three or four times. The coat was a wool exterior with triple-lined interior with a cream Satin finish on the inside. It was in excellent condition when I left it and when I returned the first time, they said they needed more time. The second time the wool was shredded as if a cat went ballistic on the coat. My mouth dropped open! The girl stated if I'm not happy I could talk to the manager-owner. You should see the email responses. I still have them. He said how I bought a cheap coat and expect it to withstand the dry cleaning process. He saw a Zara coat online like it for only $50. He said I shouldn't be so attached to my clothing, it's unheard of. He said there is nothing wrong with the coat. He said It was probably like that before. He said I could come and pick up the coat, he worked on it to remove the thread pulls and it looks fine. After five emails of trying to explain to him that it is poor customer management to insult, patronize and berate your customer like this, since I never used any swear words or insults to him. He concluded that he wasn't going to give me any more than $50 for the coat, and I was to give him my address so he can send the money because I wasn't to come in his store again having dark skin he feels threatened. I never got the coat back nor the money…he probably sold it in his sale events.

Super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help.

What kind of sorcery is this? I gave them a wool sweater that was too small for me to dryclean before I sold it and it came back blocked looking better and *fitting* me. Excellent service, prices and I love their text reminders. My one and only issue is that despite being eco friendly, everything comes wrapped in plastic even though I explicitly asked them not to. When I asked the guy at the front to remove and reuse them, he ripped them off and threw them in the bin. Great.

I have been a customer of WetCleaner since it opened and have had nothing but positive experiences. I usually bring suits and dresses for cleaning, but occasionally winter coats. Everything has come back looking great. As a side note, I have a jacket that I intend to donate to Wear 2 Start. It's in good shape, but could use a clean, so Dave agreed to do it for free. Great guy!

I wish I had read these reviews before I took an expensive winter coat into WetCleaners for cleaning. WetCleaners lost the belt that was an integral part of the look of the coat. While they offered to give me a black belt to replace the fabric one that they lost, it was clearly not a realistic resolution. The coat would look ridiculous. So Dave offered to compensate me with $100,which was a step in the right direction, until he refused to return my coat! I can only assume that his refusal to give me the coat back was to prevent me from "winning" by now having a coat with no belt and $100 - clearly a small minded small business person who has no concept customer service. So, I will accept the black belt offer, and give the coat to charity in the hopes that someone will wear it; and buy a new coat. WetCleaners error will cost me several hundred dollars. I took the coat there because I support green options and WetCleaners was one of the first to offer this; luckily, there are many other green cleaners in Victoria now, and I for one will certainly be using these other cleaners.

Good reliable service with and a business that makes a meaningful reduction to it’s footprint for laundering.

Lulu C

Consistently very expensive with exceedingly slow service. They managed to stain a cream blouse with something hot pink the last and final time I gave them my business. I do not recommend them.
