This is a great little paddle board rental shop. Really reasonable pricing and they seemed to be more interested in making sure you have a good day paddling than just cranking boards in and out. The carts they give you to transport the boards to and from the beach are really handy AND... they clean your board for you when you are done. This business is a great addition to the Cadboro Bay village.

Awesome little shop, you can tell its one of those great family run places. I was looking to order a US model NRS pfd, the Ninja, and they were the only place in town that tried to find the info and special order it for me. Saved me over $100 in international shipping as well!

Love this shop! All the staff were super friendly and they got me set up in no time. All their boards are beautiful! The SUP they rented me glided like a dream and the carbon paddle was as light as a feather. Cant wait to go back to Gyro for another paddle before summers end!

Great little shop. Have a good selection of high quality skim boards available for sale. The shop has a good selection of waxes and useful accessories. Staff were helpful and polite, balanced the a phone and on a store customers exceptionally well. They also have stand up paddle boards but I can't speak for them as that isn't why I went there.

I grew up right up the road from Gyro Park but have not lived in the area for over 30 years. I was researching places to SUP in Victoria and was super happy to find the Gyro Beach Board Shop. These folks are super helpful and have a great business. The rental part was easy. They provide SUP, paddle, PFD and a cart to transport the board to the beach. It is super easy. Cadboro Bay is a beautiful place to explore! Get out there and support these local businesses!!

Awesome awesome board shop with amazing staff! Called them ahead to reserve two SUPs and they were ready when we arrived. Catherine was so welcoming and helped make our first time in SUP a great one :) surely will be back in Cadboro bay to SUP and rent from Gyro Beach board shop again!

10/10 Amazing little paddle board shop!!!! We went for 2 hours and everything was amazing! They were super kind and curtious and had everything preped for us before we got there. We spent 2 hours on the water and saw all kinds of wildlife from seals and harrons to rare sea otters!! There are also some sunken boats that are neat to see up close. Would definitly recommend this place!! We even went in the rain which made the water super calm. So dont be scared of the rain! Overall great experience!

The Advanced Flat Water SUP course, held on Sunday August 18th, was amazing and was invaluable in advancing my skill level and confidence. Shelby, the instructor, was so competent and effective in her teaching style. She had a great sense of when and how much to encourage us individually on the various techniques and maneuvers. Her exceptional skills were pure motivation as well. What a great experience! Thanks Shelby and Sam!
