Ignoring the predictable, efficient and timely turnarounds, the staff here at this very full-service cleaners are really friendly and simply "nice". Didn't know you had a little tear in your shirt? No problem! They will find it for you and advise how to repair it. Need an alteration? They have an on-premise seamstress to de-stress that, too. Can't make it down because of your busy schedule? No worries again! They'll pick-up and drop-off your cleaning either at your home or office. Do you have something strange to clean or repair? Again - no problem. They can, and will, do anything to make a happy client.

Compared to one other place I have tried for the same blanket and two pillowcase. The price was $50 more expensive and the blanket had a very odd smell too it compared to the other store. It was an ugg blanket n pillow cases fresh from the dry cleaners I dove into it taking a big woof of the wonderful clean smell and soo to discover It was not the best smell in the world. It actually kinda made me gag lol. Might try both places one more time to see if this was a one off thing.

There are cheaper places, and I have tried several, but without a doubt, you get what you pay for. Our garments always come back looking like new. The care, pride of workmanship and attention to detail is like no other cleaner. Until recently, they did all of their cleaning on site and the place never smelled like a regular dry cleaners. Your clothes benefit from this "non-stink' as well. I asked the owner one day when he was working at the Park Royal location why it doesn't smell as much as other cleaners and he told me about the products they use. Many, if not all of their cleaning products are biodegradable and they are used as a training facility to train other drycleaners who are looking to become green. I like supporting a company that is so passionate about what they do and really strive to be the best they can be, while also supporting the environment!

UPDATE: my issue has been resolved with the cleaning company. As soon as the owner heard of my problem that I had, he was quick to make it right and I am happy to raise my rating up from the one star I originally gave him. They fixed my coat and even cleaned all nice and new as well. Let’s chalk it up to an unintentional miscommunication somewhere. Thank you Cam for looking after me. I will definitely continue to bring my clothing to you for laundering. I've been coming to Carousel Cleaners for many many years and was always very happy with them but I suppose a business should be rated on the times you encounter a problem and once I had one, it wasn't handled AT ALL. In fact I was completely ignored. I brought my Brand new Canada Goose jacket to have it cleaned and it was returned to me soaking wet. The feathers were all clumped. I brought it back to have it properly dried and when I got it back the arms had no down in them and the jacket is essentially ruined as the feathers were left wet too long. I called and left message after message to speak with the manager as he isn't in the store these days and nobody ever got back to me. So I have an $800+ useless coat that they destroyed. No accountability - they just hide when they ruin stuff. I'll never go there again after probably 20 years of being a loyal customer.

The most outrageous prices for dry cleaning. Offensive as a matter of fact. When I spoke to them about my concern the young woman I talked to was so dismissive I was shocked at that too. Terrible customer service in my view. Stay away from these guys. Your clothes may end up clean, but your wallet will be cleaned out too.

Carousel Cleaners is terrific and I highly recommend them. They did a great job of giving me options for mending (and cleaning) 2 cashmere items, which both turned out beautifully. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable, and they take back all of their hangers and poly for recycling. I also love their electronic system that sends an e-mail with the total cost included when items are ready for pickup.

I'm super stoked that a friend of mine told me about Carousel's dry-cleaning valet service. They pick up and drop off (I don't even need to be home), took great care of my shirts, and the quality of cleaning was amazing! They might not be the cheapest service out their but they are worth every penny. My shirts have never looked better. This dry-cleaner is the best and I would highly recommend to anyone.

Pretty location but that’s also where good things stop about them. Super overpriced. Charged me around $130 for cleaning of three garments with no special care needs. These are garments I have had cleaned a lot of times before at half the price around $60 in downtown. I love environment too but unless they are shipping my clothes off to be hand washed in French springs, it shouldn’t cost this much.

The best experience ever! When I got my tuxedo shirt back, it was so white and clean that I didn't recognize it at first, especially because there was a horrible ink stain on it that made me think about buying a new one. However, because of their fantastic job, my shirt was as clean and white as the first day I bought it :-) They also surprised me with a free pair of cufflinks on my tuxedo shirt! Great job, fantastic costumer service and so polite! It's definitely a must-go cleaner :-)

I brought my suit and Fiances wedding dress in to get cleaned and steamed for the big day. The staff was friendly and they did a great job, we picked up a couple days after dropping off and we were very happy with the results. I would highly recommend them.

*UPDATE - Carousel Cleaners emailed me and took care of the problem. They were very apologetic and responsible for it. Thank you for not avoiding the situation, I really appreciate it.* DO NOT let them dry clean any of your expensive clothing. I repeat DO NOT... I brought in a $2000 dollar red dress that I bought a year or 2 ago from Paris for them to dry clean and they broke the buckle that secure the dress together at the zipper area (it's a large, nice buckle so not simply the small ones) and they obviously try to use super glue to fix it... NOT ONLY were they not able to fix the buckle but they also got super glue on parts of the fabric... My dad helped me grab the dress so apparently they didn't charge him (of course they shouldn't) and told him that they can't do anything and need me to send it back to the store... They want me to ship it back to PARIS!? I might as well buy a new dress... And how is this taking any responsibility... At least help me get rid of the superglue... I will NEVER go back again, if you want your expensive clothes ruined go ahead and use them.

Everything was wonderful as far as customer service and how wonderfully cleaned my wool blanket was. Something that I did NOT like, but felt uncomfortable docking a star for it, was that Carousal Cleaners in West Vancouver did not accept debit. I was not made aware of this until I arrived to pick up my item and it was not an ideal situation considering that I did not have all of the appropriate cards with me.

I have been using Carousel Cleaners now for over 35yrs. and can't remember one negative experience. They have always treated me with professionalism. My clothes are always ready on time or early and always look great!! As for cost...they don't seem exorbitantly priced to me? I won't go anywhere else and have and will continue to recommend them.

I picked up my jeans next day at the location of my choice. I can only speak for their alteration service at this time, but I will use their service again in future.

My first visit to Carousel Cleaners was many, many years ago (without dating myself), and under less than honest circumstances on my part! As most teenaged girls do, I borrowed a pricey piece of clothing from a family member without asking, and thought I would be able to return it undetected. At the end of the night, I was horrified to discover that after taking every precaution possible to keep it in pristine condition, the beige garment was covered in red wine. I couldn't take it to the dry cleaner my parents used and risk been seen, so since I worked at Park Royal at the time, I shamefully took it to Anne at Carousel. A few days later it was better than new and back in the closet. I remember carefully disposing of any packaging that would be detectable, but a within a week, I was busted. Turns out the article of clothing was so professionally pressed it looked night and day difference. I confessed, was punished, and Carousel gained an entire family of new customers. Over 20 years later, Anne has since retired, but her son Cam and the team at Carousel are still bailing me out of all sorts of clothing mishaps. I'd like to think that I have matured since then but if I haven't, my dry cleaning needs sure have. From basic shirts and suits to formal, wedding, and bedding - it is without hesitation that I have recommended, and will continue to recommend the quality of Carousel to my contacts. Note to future bad teenage daughter, if you do any unauthorized borrowing please just take directly to Carousel and no questions will be asked.

For 3 years we have been using Carousel Cleaners at Park Royal and we have never been disappointed with their services. We started going to this location due to the convenience of parking and the fact that it was in close proximity of our child’s school. However our confidence in this company solidified one day when we met the owner of the company. He was extremely humble and explained to us how he founded his business on his desire to have families with newborns (such as himself) to retain dry cleaning services that use safe & environmentally friendly chemicals. We have no reason to go anyplace else with the recent inclusion of registering the pick up/drop off options. Clothing & articles can be picked up/dropped off automatically as they inform you when they will be nearby your neighborhood. We were extremely impressed that even with recent snow storms, the dry cleaned articles were delivered without delay. Finally, they are always helpful with minor repairs such as fixing up zippers and even in these cases they are so price conscious with your budget that they will come up with options to keep the cost low. With the news of their new expansion in business we are extremely happy that the owner has achieved his success.

Do not send your Essentials/Fear of God clothing to this place for dry clean. The shop removed the leather tag without asking. Very disappointed as they advertise that they specialize in dry cleaning high end clothing and my brand new sweatshirt came back damaged. Will not return. Updated Review - issue was promptly dealt with in a professional manner. Business offered to sew the tag back on and explained that it’s their normal practice to remove the leather tag before dry clean but this time they forgot to sew it back on.

I am so disappointed with the service I received. I had my coat cleaned but the hood piece was missing when I picked it up at the West Van store as it was miss-delivered to the other branch. I asked them to have it delivered to my place and confirmed to have it delivered in the morning of today, but it didn't happen, making me necessary to call you and wait until the driver arrives. Also, the women at the call-center just told me that it is the driver's fault, but for customers, the driver is also a member of the company, giving me an insincere impression. I paid over 100 dollars to have all this trouble. Very angry and disappointed.

I have used these guys for years. I work on the North Shore and live in Coquitlam now. Although I am currently on Mat Leave, I still make an effort to commute and take my clothes to them. I tried switching to two other local cleaners and they could not compete with Carousel’s quality of care. I much rather pay a little more to have my clothes cleaned properly rather than destroy my clothing through cheap dry cleaning and have to replace them altogether. Trust their services because dry cleaning is really maintenance of clothes you have invested in.

Although there’s still a little stain that’s hard to get rid of but if don’t watch it carefully you won’t notice it.
