In their defence the driver was lovely and kind and offered to turn around and bring it back and admitted she forgot. Honesty goes a long way so I will go back

We use Carousel Cleaners to launder and iron my husband’s dress shirts. Pick ups are a breeze, you don’t have to go online or phone to schedule, they just automatically come on your set pick up days. If you don’t have any items for that particular pick up, it’s no problem, you don’t need to infom them. The products they are using are good for those of us that are sensitive to fragrance and the ironing job they do is excellent. We have used three other cleaners and Carousel is by far our favorite. Convenient, low fragrance and excellent job.

Wonderful place to do dry cleaning and laundry business. This facility is huge and has some of the finest machines available in the world (seriously, machines from Italy, Chicago, etc.). We had clothing that had been damaged by a skunk, the laundry machines removed the smell completely in one wash. This is an amazing facility, very professional and well run. I took a few items to the North Van location and wanted them available for the following day, ideally before my 2 PM meeting even though their usual return time is after 5 PM. Samantha made a note on my file requesting an earlier return and said the cleaners will do their best and that it's a possibility. I got a call early in the morning the following day saying everything was ready for me to pick up! I appreciated their effort to accommodate me and was obviously pleased. They always do a great job! When I got it back, the tag said they tried their best to clean the stains but the jacket I got back was perfect and almost looked brand new!! I had dropped my Arcteryx jacket off to be cleaned and re-sealed for it had gone through a long winter. I had a slight hiccup with the timing to pick it up, which resulted in me sending an email with my concerns via email to their customer service team. What followed was a phone call from the owner of the company, apologizing for the communication mishap from one of his employee's, and had the jacket delivered to my front door within the hour, and offered me a credit to the store for the future. Carousel Cleaners were the only dry cleaning service that could help me out on a saturday. I needed a blanket washed and dried, i contacted many other dry cleaners that couldnt do it. Right away Carousel cleaners on Barrow street said they could do it. The blanket was in rough shape heading in, when i picked it up it was like brand new. The service and quality of work here is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 5/5 stars so happy!!

I was in a bind when it came to trusting a local cleaner for my wife's coat. With mixed reviews for most of the shops in town, I resorted to sourcing out specialists in cleaning leather/down/fur jackets. No one promised they can do it and not wreck the jacket. I was this close to sending it to Ontario (well over $150 plus shipping too) when I was referred to this drycleaner (shout out to a cleaner in Alberta). Sam explained the steps and assured me they have done the brand before with success. I dropped it off and after 7 days, she called to notify me it was done. I wasn't able to pick it up and they graciously delivered it to me. Yes - they do pickup and drop-off at no extra charge. The jacket is good as new. The fur trim has been re-fluffed and the perfume smell is 100% gone. Highly recommended. We will be taking our clothes there in the future.

While my aunt and I were altering my dress for my son's wedding we noticed a stain on the back. When we tried to remove it, we ended up with water marks. I was so upset but she said not to worry, she knew exactly who could help us. The next day we set out for Carousel Cleaners on Barrow St. She said she had been dealing with them for years in Park Royal and they were the best. We were greeted by very friendly staff and the owner, Cam, was so helpful and positive. When we picked up the dress a few days later, it was beautiful. I did find that there was no item list to tick off on the website to show what you had sent to be dry cleaned or a price list to know what each item cost. While visiting here from Florida, my daughter got huge mud stains (from jumping dogs) all over her only winter WHITE jacket. I tried to wash it myself, but the stains didn't come out. Had some suits that needed dry cleaning after attending two funerals, not familiar with dry cleaning place in the area, I have decided to use the one closer from the house with one of the suits. In short, suit seemed like it's washed (cause it had shrunk and had large wrinkles that never had), I had taken photo of the suit before giving it to them so I had proof but place was just in denial and there is nothing they could do. Then I got some advice from people at work and neighbors about Carousel cleaners. Everything came out great and person who was helping me even went over the suit and other item in detail. Only kind of issue came when it was time to pay. Call me cheap but bill came out to be around $20 higher than I got quoted (printed quote). I did not want to make big fuss out of the situation but asked if there was anything special done to the cloth that can cause the difference in price. Person who came out from the back has instantly recognized the issue and offered to fix the issue with credit memo. Also I was explained how pricing works and how this confusion can be avoided in the future. I thought the detail explanation and way the person showed that they value customer and their belonging was the key and credit was an extra. According to person who referred me to Carousel cleaners, person I spoke to was the president of the company later on. Hard to see the owner/ president who shows care for the customer these days. Feel bad about taking 1 star off but I am pretty sure my next visit will be 5 stars. (thought it would be better than being quiet and search for elsewhere for the needs)
