They're amazing! needed sewing thread for camping equipment repairs and they just gave it to us fodr free! the folks there are incredibly knowledgeable about everything sewing. they mostly do sewing and embroidery.

I've been here on two occasions. Once to hem my pants and I wasn't happy with how much was hemmed even though we discussed how much to be done. The second time was to get my surger fixed. I rang the bell, at lunch time, had to wait a good couple minutes because food is more important, clearly. After that everything was fine and dandy until I mentioned that I was going to price check their 89 dollar fee. Just like that Dr. Jekyll turned into Mr. Hyde. The old guy said, " Take your surger we don't want it here." There was an obvious sneer in his voice and in his body language. The lady was just as mean saying I wouldn't find a cheaper price. NEEDLESS to say it was NOT about the money at this point $$$. I'll go where I AM RESPECTED & TREATED with DIGNITY. Not treated like dirt at the bottom of someone's shoe. ALSO needless to say I will NEVER grace them with my presence EVER. WILL NOT be recommending this place to anyone, there is NO EXCUSE for this behaviour whatsoever. NONE.

He definitely knows his stuff, but is a bit condescending when communicating. He spent maybe about 15 minutes fixing why the thread was snapping (sharp part of the pressure foot) and charged 45$. I wish he would have told me what the charge was beforehand.

Bert was very friendly and was able to service my machine on extremely short notice. Called this morning and I am now walking out with my great grandmothers singer working perfectly. The price was beyond reasonable. Would give a 10/5 star if I could.

My Mom left a sewing machine here almost a year ago and has yet to hear back from him. We keep leaving messages as we live out of town but no reply. Now the mailbox to leave messages has been full when we call.

My father placed an order for a bunch of needles for his machine and was they would call him when the order came. A month passed and he asked me to call and check. The order was never place and he behaved as if if was the first time he heard about this order. So no big deal I just asked if we could place the order again. He went into a big speech about how the needles didn't come in a bundle ect... Once again no big deal we'll take them how ever we can. I explained that I needed to translate everything to my father (he's deaf) and the moment I said that he hung up on me. When I called back and laughed about the disconnected call, he promptly said "I have another customer" and hung up again. I was quite upset but waited an hour and tried to call again I explained I would like a price on my order and an wondered when it would be in. He then stated that I should shop somewhere else, he did not need my business. I eventually decided I was desperate my father needed the sewing needles. I knew from my first conversation with this man, before I told him I was make a phone call for a deaf man, that he had 2 packs of the needles I needed in store and the cost of 1 package. I drove 2 hours to the store and asked politely for the sewing needles and never let on I had called at all. They were very friendly to me in the store and handed me half a pack of needle stating it was all they had and then charged me twice the price I was quoted on the phone call. I thanked them as they told me a story about my own phone calls and the laughed as they stated they didn't have time for questions they were too busy. As I left their empty store I googled for another shop and luckily found a wonderful little shop not too far away who sold me what I needed at half the price I was quoted from this place. I would say it was the worst experience I've ever had in any store. If you don't ask them any questions and take up none of their time, you'll be fine at this shop. Otherwise I recommend steering clear because the nasty behavior alone is not worth the stress.

I had a great experience here. I dropped off a machine and it was serviced and now back up to bar. The lady who received it was very nice and the man who I paid after it was finished gave me a detailed lesson on the operation of the machine as well he showed me a few other machines and what they can do. I had a good experience.

Took my machine, which I had purchased here and previously had great service, for repair. After several months wait, picked it up with repair incomplete and the peddle had been lost! Owner/repair man promised to pay for the replacement. I found 2 sources, bought it from the least expensive one. After a few phone calls, he asked us to wait until he had the money, then offered to pay half, then refused altogether, hanging up the phone!

The man in the store was extremely rude and nasty. He lost a part of my sewing machine but denied having the part. I ordered a new part but never received a call . He charged 100$ to tune up the machine, way over priced. I would never shop at this store again.

The customer service we received was like nothing I've seen,or received in my years! My mom needed a screw or bolt for her singer machine. The man gave it to her and refused to take cent. He was honest and said he had large amounts of spare parts the cost him nothing.
