I can't say enough positive about Tailored to You! I've had over 40 pieces tailored by these gentlemen and they are always polite, on time, do GREAT WORK for VERY REASONABLE pricing!! I have had yoga pants, business suits, lined slacks and blazers, belts, shirts and blouses altered. I always get compliments on the tasteful and exacting fit of my clothes :) They give great feedback, and provide insights when something is salvageable or not worth altering. I give them my highest recommendation without reservation.

Wellllllll, I gained a little weight in that year and a half and about a month before my wedding, I tried it on and it didn't quite zip. *cue heavy panicking* My former tailors, Sew-Rite permanently closed as the lovely ladies who ran that shop retired. *cue more panicking* I know you're probably thinking- "that's what you get for waiting until the last minute" and you're right, I had every other aspect of my wedding planned and nailed down and the dress sort of slipped my mind because I thought it fit. I googled "tailors near me" and Tailored to you came up and he had all these great reviews. I took a chance. A real chance. I walked in, flustered, stressed, and exasperated said "my dress doesn't quite fit, can you help?" I tried it on and he said "no problem, I can fix this, come back in two weeks" I came back in two weeks, my dress fit beautifully, hemmed precisely, it was pressed, he even fixed a little part that needed more securing or it would not be sitting quite right. I instantly breathed a sigh of relief. He did a beautiful job. My dress is wonderful again! Highly recommend.

I have a leather jacket which the sleeves that need to be shortened, but it has zippers on it with designed sewing style, not an easy job. Good tailor, friendly, quick turnaround and great pricing. We had curtains altered here and he gave us a price almost half that of the nearby tailor up the road. Curtains have held up and look fantastic. Only thing to watch out for if the steep parking lot driveway.

Ali finished the alteration within a day, and the quality is amazing, the seams are well sewn, even if I look closely, I cannot tell the difference between the new seam and the original ones.

Since uniforms have very strict guidelines i made sure to bring all of the rules with me and he made sure we had everything correct before I left. Great tailor, can make magic happen! I came here in a panic needing to make a dress grow larger for my sisters wedding. We ordered from the Kennedy Blue website (which I do not recommend) and the dress I tried on at home arrived not able to zip. Freaking out I found Tailor to You because he was the only one to pick up and tell me I could come right in. This man worked magic on my dress, no insert, no lace panel. I have no idea how he did it but it zips, I can breath and he hemmed it for me. Price was amazing for all the work that was done and turn around time was within a few weeks but I was not in a hurry so he could have had it done quicker. Highly recommend Tailored to You.

I purchased a leather jacket a few years ago from Lord & Taylors that I really love, but on the Inner arms of the jacket is a sweater material that I hate and collects a lot of lent, I took the jacket along with another old out dated leather jacket to Tailored To You and ask Ali if he could remove the sweater area of the arms of the jacket and replace them with the leather arms from the old out dated. He did an amazing job in just a few short days and his prices are affordable. He’s very professional and knows his work, I am so happy with the outcome of his work. I've had over 20 pieces altered by Ali over the past year and can attest to his excellent craftsmanship! I'm built a bit closer to the ground than the average person, so everything from jeans to suits need to be altered. Ali provides great attention to detail, from preserving the original hems on jeans for the authentic worn look, to lining up the button holes on suit jacket sleeves. Each item is measured according to your liking - a little longer/shorter (ladies, bring your shoes -- heels or flats -- to get the correct pant length). The quality is truly exceptional - pressed and perfectly finished! I won't go anywhere else!

I only needed to add about 3-4inches of fabric across the back and I was concerned because the dress was handmade by a company that specializes in authentic african print fabric. Ali was a pleasure to work with. I had a bit of a unique request and he was able to do it perfectly. I needed my enlisted army dress uniform converted into an officer uniform. Ali was able to remove the shoulder flaps from the shoulder seam, remove the old ranks from the sleeve and then sew on all of the new uniform accessories. The new items included clips for shoulder boards and a sleeve braid on both sides. As far as the trousers, I needed a braid sewn all the way down the seam on both sides which he did perfectly. Highly recommend Tailored to You and will be going back here for any tailoring needs.
