I've had all my NW hemming done here and while not all of the staff are exactly charming, the work is good. I wish this centre's hours were better as it's hard on the working folk, and another location would be great - Columbia is desperate for a tailor. Nevertheless, while I live here I have no problem putting my pants on for Genie Stitch.

I brought in 3 pairs of jeans to be repaired. All had bad tears/holes around the thigh area. I asked around many other places but the price to fix was too high. I live in New West and Genie's Stitch popped up in a Google search. I'm so glad it did. My 3 jeans are repaired and the stitching looks really well done and looks very durable. The value for money was excellent. Much less expensive than other places I looked at. I would recommend you try this place.

Good place to get pant legs hemmed up at a reasonable price. It is usually not too busy.

Have always entrusted them with my alteration needs and they always deliver good results and the turn around time is usually pretty quick depending on what it is that you need done. Rates are reasonable too

highly recommended i paid what i want them to do turn out perfect every time some of the clothes i bought on sale $20 but costed me $60 for repaired i am very happy the way they put time a lot of time on my item

I brought in a pair of pants to have a seam repaired, the lady said it will be $27.00, I said wow the pants only cot $35, anyways I got them to repair the pants. I got home checked out what they did to the pants and all they did was a heat on patch that wasn't evenly heated on to the pant fabric. the patch also began to peel off when I was putting the pants on. Extremley lowsy job on their part , so needless to say I will NOT be going back to that place again and I will tell everyone I know on my facebook page

I have been here twice now with my wife. Both times I needed dress pants hemmed literally an hour before closing time. The first experience was great and the second experience even better! My wife was just amazed with the amount of patience these women had with us...as we are very picky and particular. We would recommend this place to anyone who is in a bind and requires excellent customer service. Yes they charged us $2 more to have it within the hour- but well worth the wait :)

I've never had such a terrible experience as I did with Genies Stitch recently. Which is unfortunate as I have used them for some time, but the quality and customer service has completely dropped off. It was the first time the employee demanded I pay before I pick up when I have never had to do so before. Then unfortunately when I went to pick up my alterations I could barely do up the zipper on my pants they were taken in so much and the bottom of the pants was extremely baggy and disproportionate. The lady then tried to tell me I needed to pay more money for additional alterations and tried to say she had told me when I dropped them off and payed that the alterations couldn't be done. Rude and unaccomodating. I will not return again.

Jean patches Many of my friends recommended me to this store call stitch world alteration in metro town It cost $30 to $35 to do jean patches both sides of crotch I live in north Vancouver I I am happy paid $45 A year later I brought one jean there to try it out A week later picked up take close look what a job they did one of the best patch I ever seen Cost me $35 I gave them $50 ????$15 for the tip . Excellent service. I recently had three pairs of trousers repaired here, one of which was severely damaged, and all came back completely fixed. I was very happy with the price and the quality of the fix. I also have had items dry cleaned and was very happy with the results. I definitely would use their services again and would recommend to others.
