After I ordered a MTM sports coat virtually, Michael contacted me and said he noticed I lived in the area and asked if I would prefer to come into the showroom for an in person fitting. So glad he suggested it ( my measurements where a little off, shocker !) the showroom is beautiful and very comfortable, it feels like a high end cocktail lounge. Michael and his staff were very polite and professional and I absolutely love the jacket the made for me. I could not be happier with the experience and definitely recommend them if your are looking to take your wardrobe to the next level.

Cory and Brady were really helpful when I got my custom tuxedo for my wedding from MAB. I also had a special request that the tuxedo be cotton so it would be vegan friendly, and they were very accommodating. The tuxedo fit great, looked awesome, and was ready much more quickly than I expected. I always looked forward to going back there, and the process of picking out fabrics and liners was really interesting and a lot of fun. I will definitely be getting another suit there in the future.

Some details that I articulated were missed (and not offered to be remedied) and fit did not end up as good as I would have hoped (although understand one can only expect so much virtually).

I have been an investment banking recruiter for more than 25 years. Last year, one of my candidates referred me to MAB. Booking an appointment was seamless and I purchased several suits and shirts. Prior to Covid, I met with Michael (the owner) at their downtown showroom on Great Jones Alley. It was thoroughly enjoyable – unlike any other retail buying experience. Since Covid, I’ve done my appointments with Michael via Zoom. Having my clothes custom made by Michael Andrews, I feel so confident that I look my best for my meetings, whether it be in skirt or slack suits with a dress shirt. I’m a hard fit, and MAB is the perfect solution that took me too long to find! I lost weight during Covid and they were actually able to make successful alterations after a Zoom meeting where they could see and measure what had to be taken in! I think the website doesn’t do the women’s line justice, but they assured me they’re working on it. MAB is a really great place with a great owner. I have had a 4 year relationship with them when i read their article on Urban Daddy a ways back. I went to their clandestine location and was quite happy with my suits, so much I bought 5 shirts, and set up another appointment for another suit. fast forrward to today, those suits I still wear. I tossed all the other "name brand" illfitting things I had in the past cause I never wear them. So thats the only downside. Once you go custom you just never go back to off the rack. Prices are great, new people trying to do what he does, but its not the same. There is no living social deal or yelp deal or other crap. They do however have a 5+ shirt deal, and an annual giftcard that i love to take advantage of. I wish them luck for custom made mens suits, there is no better affordable tailor in nyc and a rockstar location that is the ultimate man cave.

Michael Andrews Bespoke is an exceptional custom clothing destination for men. The quality and service that comes from this clothier is unparalleled and absolutely amazing. From the first moment I entered their shop I knew I was somewhere very special. The experience is not like shopping it all. Instead it feels like your are part of a sartorial gentlemen's club. But lets be clear.....There is NO stuffiness and NO attitudes in this establishment.
