I went in on Saturday to find my wedding dress, and was very pleased with the service I received. My consultant was Myriam and she was great! I felt very comfortable with her, she picked out some amazing gowns for me to try on, and she helped me find the perfect dress!

I had an amazing experience at Bella Promessa! The boutique is beautiful and cozy. I loved how there are seperate rooms for groups (so not everyone sees you trying on dresses). The person helping us was SO nice and helpful. It really felt like she wanted me to find the dress (which I did!)

I had the worst experience here a few months back, it was my first time shopping for a wedding gown and I was SO excited. I met with Jennifer and ended up leaving 25 minutes into my 2 hour appointment because the experience was so unpleasant. Initially, I thought I would like a lace wedding dress, so she brought about 6 lace dresses that looked almost identical for me to try on. I realized that the lace style was not for me after trying 3 of them, and described a more simple/classic style I wanted to try instead. She was visibly annoyed I didn't want to try on the other identical lace dresses she had brought and tried to pressure me "just to try" - she literally rolled her eyes when I told her I knew I wouldn't like the style and took them away. While waiting, my mom and I heard her and another employee complaining about how they wanted to go home. I understand that we had an evening appointment and they must have been tired, but it totally ruined the mood for us. She finally brought me a more classic style that I loved, but we thought it was too low cut for my church ceremony. She told me that the style I liked wasn't popular or "in style" anymore (ironic, since that one dress I liked is the actual cover of their webpage now lol) and then showed me ONE other dress that was a completely different style. I didn't like it, and she said I "shouldn't be too picky" and that I needed to just pick one. It was so uncomfortable after that, my mother thanked her and said we were going to go if there were no other dresses left for me to try and she tried to get us to stay to try on more lace styles (seriously?) I felt honestly so sad and weirdly kept feeling like I was annoying her and had to apologize to her for being "picky" .. it was my first time in a bridal boutique and I hoped the experience would be more special. Somehow she thought it would be a good the idea to send me an email saying how great it was to meet me with a picture of my "fav dress," legit an hour after I left the store in tears ... Luckily, I ended up having incredible experiences at the next boutiques I went to and had no trouble finding dresses I loved. I can't say how the other employees at this boutique are, hopefully they provide better service If you're looking for a warm and inviting atmosphere, I would recommend Freedom Bridal in Saint John or Primrose Lane in Dieppe.

When I walked in, I was impressed, it's a pretty store. I went there over the summer and Unfortunatly they had nothing in my budget (1000.00 which I thought was average) . The way it was said made me feel like I was cheap. The reason I was given was that it was a "high end" boutique. The saleswoman pulled out a dress and said "unless you want something like this" It was not a very pretty dress ( for me anyways). I ended up trying one dress on, and a few people who walked into the store could see me. I did not enjoy my experience and bought a dress at another local boutique.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Bella Promessa the other day when I went bridesmaid dress-shopping and even fell in love with this gorgeous pantsuit that I never would've tried on if I hadn't have been encouraged by the stylist. She was so professional and had amazing advice and new exactly what to suggest for sizing and alterations. Exactly what's needed for a girl who doesn't know anything about dress sizes or how anything should fit. It was super exciting to find something so gorgeous and to have someone's advice who seems really trusting and not salesy in the slightest because that is the opposite kind of experience that I like. I truly recommend this store for anyone looking to try a wedding gown or bridesmaid gown, my friend bought her wedding gown through Bella Promessa as well which lands me 10% off! Bonus!

The ladies that work here are hit or miss. Our group of ladies came here for bridesmaids dresses and our first experience was minimal. The lady made you feel like you were incompetent if you did not know about the material types and was impatient in answering questions. I specifically chose not to look at wedding dresses here when I went looking.

When a woman goes in to get to a bridal shop to buy her wedding gown it should be one of the best experiences ever. Bella Promess Bridal was not in any way shape or form. First when we walked in for our appointment they would only show us the bigger dresses and only when we asked if we could look at the others to get ideas and order in a bigger size was the response "I guess we could do that" Not a great first impression but none the less decided to give them a try. Our appointment was at 12:30 at 1:15 we were still seated outback shoved in some corner because they overbooked and lost control of their prior appointments. Then when trying on dresses that were brought out by the attendant we were then told to get her out of that dress it was someone else's by the manager. Needless to say the bride to be was mortified by the whole experience and left the store in tears. They did how ever call later and asked if they could bring her back to try to make it right but by this time the damage was done. Buyer beware of the service from this store, especially when the worst was from the manager.

Could not have had a better experience! Great service. Beautiful dresses. Friendly staff! I was a student living 3 hours away from Moncton when I began dress shopping. My parents live in Moncton which is how I ended up there. The staff was INCREDIBLE with dealing with the distance. I had to get an alteration done that would regularly take two weeks. They did it in 4 days to cater to my flight schedule in and out of Moncton so I could avoid driving 3 hours there and 3 hours back. AMAZING! I'm originally from Ontario and live there now. I wish I knew more people in the Moncton area because I would recommend this store to every bride!

Absolutely amazing! Selection is GREAT. I've been looking for ballgowns with lace in so many locations and found my dress to be here (haven't ordered yet, but I will be!) Miriam was the best consultant. I didn't feel pressured and felt like a complete bride. I'm from Halifax and would recommend the drive to anyone!

I went to Bella Promessa a few months ago, and had an amazing experience. I was looked after by Sylvie Hebert, and she was a sweetheart. Not only was she very respectful of my budget (1200$), she was knowledgeable about the dresses/models/available colors and trends. She was very patient, even went as far as encouraging me to try on the same dress three times because she could tell I REALLY liked it but didn't want to impose ;) One last thing, I left without buying the dress right away (wanted to sleep on it), and that was fine with her, no pressure. Thank you for giving me a great dress shopping day Sylvie!
