After 5 different quotes and meetings it was clear that Sam was the man for the job. From the get go Sam knew exactly what I wanted and added some recommendations that made my wedding suit perfect! I first met Sam when he altered a vintage dress I had bought. He did such a great job that he became the only person I would trust with my alterations. Over the years I have tested him with some difficult jobs and he has always found a solution to make the dress, top, belt whatever it may be fit me perfectly. On top of that his workmanship skills are impeccable. Sam and Grant are very professional and great people as well. I am sad they have left Sydney and may just have to travel to Nelson with my alterations!

He is a miracle worker, I had fallen and ripped open the knee of my favorite walking/working trousers and I wanted to get them wearable again, but was resigned to an ugly patch and re-purchasing the same pair once I’m back in London. But the solution of creating two vertical darts was perfect and it doesn’t look noticeable at all. So glad I found him while I was passing through Nelson, highly recommended.
