I am really dissapointed in the quality of service from Lilly. I spent over $170 for alterations for two suits and had simply asked to iron a section as it had wrinkles. I was told it CANT BE DONE and was completely dismissing the fact there were wrinkles. I was the only customer who had to drive over 40min. Her work is good but service is significantly dropping - maybe the high reviews are getting to her head. You just lost a loyal customer.

When I look for a tailor, I look for service. I have 22 items in total, jackets, pants and shirts to alter. I spoke with Lily from the shop. She told me to come in to take a look at the pieces. Once I went into the shop, she was very judgemental. She offered no guidance on how the procedure works. She kept on pressuring me about the price. She hasn’t even seen me try on a jacket yet. Over all I felt very discriminated against. I was really excited to find a local tailor. I saw the great reviews here. I couldn’t be more disappointed. If you’re looking for great service, best to avoid this business.

I've been here a couple of times to get my pants hemmed over the past couole of years and they've turned out great. The most recent time I got suit altered and it fits like a bespoke suit. I really appreciate the time Lilly spent with me and her attention to detail.

Smartfit by Lily’s is my go-to when I need to get my clothes altered. Decided to be creative and DIYed a top I got (and you usually know how that goes) and she fixed it nicely. So glad my house is close to hers, she’s always so flexible when I drop off my stuff and finishes it even before I expect it. I was searching online for a place to do alterations, I was in a time crunch for a wedding I was in- i had brought my bridesmaid outfit to a different place that ended up making the shirt portion worse than when i got it. I found Smart Alterations and called Lily to see if she could fix the issue and fast! She was so kind and reassuring, told me she could make it look better than when I received it. It took her less than a week to fix my shirt, and it looked amazing. She really helped me out and fast! People may think its a bit difficult to find her place, i assure you it is not, her store front is on Thomas Street, and the parking and back entrance is just behind the townhouses, tons of parking! Easy to get to!

A few weeks ago i went in to get my eshoot dress altered. She couldn't give me the price over the phone and asked me to bring it in, which is reasonable. After trying it on for her i asked how much she would charge to hem the bottom as it was too long. She said an extremely unreasonable amount. When i said its okay im going to see if i can take it elsewhere she was so rough with my dress when i asked her to help me unzip the back. And continue to say that if i bring it back she wont fix it etc. Felt extremely uncomfortable and it was a waste of my time.
