So upset and disappointed!
I've used Ron's service a couple of times and it was good, but this time I left angrier than ever! First off, I dropped off my dress on Wednesday, and Ron said it would be done by Thursday. I came in Thursday, and my dress wasn't ready. Ron seemed slightly confused and initially couldn't even locate my dress. When he finally found it, it was under a pile of other clothes, crumpled with the rest of them. He assured me the dress would be ready on Friday.
I came in this morning to pick it up, and right away noticed a pull on the front (silky fabric). I put it on, and although it fit, I was quite upset as this was an online order from Europe that cost a pretty penny. I showed him the pull and he informed me it wasn't his doing, but he would take the blame. Once I took the dress off, I noticed another pull and multiple little stains on the dress. I pointed out the pull and once again, Ron wouldn't confirm it was his doing.
He steamed my dress partially and then handed it off to me, and when I asked him to steam the entire dress, HE GAVE ME THE STEAMING IRON AND TOLD ME TO DO IT MYSELF! What kind of ridiculous service is this?
I was quite upset, steamed my dress, and asked him how much it was. He charged me the full amount of $40, and when I asked him about the pulls, he said the dress was tough to work with. Nevertheless, I left furious and will NOT BE RETURNING. He lost me as a customer, and living in the area I will warn people against his services.
I am certain these stains and pulls weren't on my dress prior to leaving it with Ron, and with the state of how he keeps his items, I have no doubt it got stuck to a hook, or sequins, or something to create this mess!
