I went to Shoppe and Tailor for my wedding dress and I'm so glad they were recommended to me. Thank you Meagan for making this process so easy, you were so accommodating and thoughtful on the details, I felt my dress was in safe in the hands of such a perfectionist. So much care was taken at each fitting, you made thoughtful and reasonable suggestions, the whole process was transparent and stress free. I wouldn't hesitate to come back when I have a wordwrobe worthy of such services lol.

I brought my wedding dress to Shoppe and Tailor for alterations. Maegan was very detailed and helped customize the skirt and topper so it fit my petite frame. It was not an easy feat as the topper had tiny beading detail along the waistline that needed to be repositioned. Her work is exceptionally meticulous. I was so impressed that I ended bringing in a second dress for alterations that I wore at a pre-wedding event. Both dresses turned out beautiful!

I had a two-piece wedding outfit tailored here - needed the skirt let out and the top taken in (curse of the slightly pear-shaped woman). Maegan did an excellent job, and had me come in partway through to try it on so she could make some tweaks before I picked up the final version. The outfit looks as good as I hoped it would! The owner does all the work herself and is very knowledgable about both tailoring and modern style (which helps when you don't know that much yourself, like me). I would definitely recommend this place.

I trust this shop for all my alterations! Shoppe and Tailor is a local, femmes-to-the-front tailor shop. They go above and beyond to explain their process and what can and can't be done with the clothing I bring to them. They are super friendly and creative ladies. Word to the wise- always wash and dry your clothing before you stop by. they are really strict on the policy of only working on freshly washed/dry cleaned clothing.

Flawless work! They have made 15+ tailored shirts, jackets, vests, pants and ties for me. I bring in original printed material, designed in Photoshop and printed out, or something unique found in TO fabric stores, or ikat from Istanbul, shibori (complex tie die), or sakiori (rag woven material) from Japan, i draw a sketch or have a kinda complex idea, we work through the design, and then Maegan and crew work their magic. Amazing detailed, professional work. Once this Covid thing settles down, there's another dozen designs i finished working on, that i want Maegan to create and bring to life. Stay tuned!

I'm a costume maker for stage and screen and renting from Chanti and Maegan was a lifesaver! After contacting them, I promptly received a contract for renting the space and upon arrival at the space, was soon made to feel at ease and safe in the shared studio. Cutting tables, an industrial iron, and straight stitch machines were in great condition. There were speciality machines available (cover stitch, buttonhole) which was great to know about as well as sergers and zig zag machines. I did bring most of my materials including threads and tools, but on the occasion I had forgotten something, there were such things available for me to use in a pinch. Working out of the space 8 hours a day for a few weeks, it was nice to see they also had a kitchenette area including a fridge and coffee maker for lunch time and breaks. Maegan and Chanti were constantly professional while creating a friendly and welcoming environment in which to work. Thank you for sharing your space!
