John is a complete professional. What he doesn’t know about formal wear isn’t worth knowing. He managed to fit me in quickly and had everything sorted out within an hour. The price was extremely fair, if not cheap, for the quality and especially the service. I can highly recommend John and will be back in the future. Thank you John.

I hired morning suits for myself and my groom's party from John E. Monk and they were fantastic. My wedding was in Moscow, Russia and John E. Monk provided suits for people in Liverpool, London and Moscow. The service was first-rate and both John and Jerry did everything humanly possible to suit us up. I tried suits in a few shops in Liverpool, but none came close to matching the service I received from John E. Monk: it was a pleasure doing business with them. Indeed, I was so impressed with their professionalism I got them to make me a bespoke lounge suit, which is now my favourite suit.

Having rented for years because family did shocked at treatment today really rude no gentleman agreement kept offered me a future deal any suits day rental 100 because we spent so much wedding hire. Word of JOHN MONK LYER came to hire a suit put up to 120 shook hands. Returned to pay deposit he started with its 130 should be 150. I explained wht he said his reply get out my shop an not arguing neither was I. Very rude aggressive and forgetful little man keep ye p.i.s.s stained suit u gave me last time. Every time iv rented had to wash stuff stinks of mould from his shop ask to go toilet u will see level of hygiene suits are kept in. Shame really that dress alterations lady has to put up with him shes lovely and helpful clearly she could teach him customer service. ATTIRE CHEAPER ANYWAY JST NO WALK INS

Hired 4 complete suits and shoes from these guys and took them to Jamaica, the suits stood up to the high temperature and still looked brilliant after 4 hrs of wear. A lot of people passed good comments on the suits at the resort. John E Monk are a fantastic tailor, reasonably priced and really nice people to deal with including the young lady in the back ground who does the hard work. Do not buy from their website. They partially acknowledge the order, take the money and dont send the goods and then tell you its your fault. Why have online ordering, if you dont understand online customer service? Thanks John E monk I now have 4 days to find a replacement before my wedding.
