I brought in a formal dress to have it hemmed and to have the waistline tacked. The quality of the work was excellent and I wasn't in any particular rush so the one week timeline was fine. When I got the dress back and tried it on at home it was a bit too long in the front so I brought it back. They fixed the hem in one day, free of charge. Overall the quality of service and work was great however it cost $55 for a relatively simple job. Not sure I'd go back just because of the cost.

I got my bridesmaid dress altered here, and the owner / seamstress did an amazing job, you can't even tell that there have been alterations done to the dress. It was done in a relatively short time and she did an amazing job. I definitely recommend Threadz and will go there again whenever I need to. You get what you pay for.

Owner is extremely friendly and experienced. Had her do a very complicated alteration on a bridesmaid's dress, and it came out amazing! Paid $160 for her work, which was extensive, so price was totally reasonable. Just took my bridal gown in for her to do for me!

Not sure about complicated work. But for some simple work like just adding buttons/snaps to my topcoat, they handled that perfectly. Staff were really helpfully and knowledgeable. Definitely gonna come back if I need anything in the future. 5$ for adding a button btw. I can't compare this to other tailor shops in the town. But I feel this is satisfying enough for me.

I can't comment on the quality of her workmanship but the sweet lady that runs the place is awesome. I just needed to get a button stitched on a suit jacket and she did it right away even though she was busy.

I went to Threadz for alterations on my wedding dress. She has a very good eye (for example, I just thought the straps needed shortening, but she noticed, when I didn't, that the waist of the dress sat a little low and needed to be shortened a bit too) and great problem-solving skills when it comes to making a garment fit. My dress turned out beautifully. I had purchased a silk shrug to go with the dress, custom made by someone I'd found online, and when it arrived (less than two weeks before the wedding), it fit TERRIBLY. It looked horrible. I took it in to Threadz, and even with the short timeline it was all fixed with time to spare, and ended up looking beautiful. High quality work, at very reasonable prices. I will be bringing more clothes to be tailored here!

I brought in two pieces recently for some custom tailoring work - I wanted some inseam slanted pockets added to a wool coat to replace the existing straight flap pockets. And I had a jacket with sleeves that were too long and that needed the overall fit tightened up. Both tasks were done very well, in a relatively fast time frame (I think around 2-3 days) and the price was very reasonable. Overall I am 100% pleased with the experience and highly recommend Threadz for custom tailoring.

Suanne is a knowledgeable and incredibly talented seamstress. Her experience is vast! She listens to your concerns and also offers her advice. A tuck here, shorten there, add a panel!. Suanne customizes your clothing to make them feel they were made just for you. This is the third wedding dress I have entrusted to Threadz over the years. The turnaround items is very reasonable, the workmanship precise and always delivered on time. Prices are very reasonable. Suanne is definitely my go to person when it comes to any thoughts of alterations. Suanne has a changeroom in her worksshop which is part of her home while masking and taking covid precautions lumits the number of people for safety . There is space on a covered porch outside if you meet to wait. Street parking is available. Hours are 9 to 2 Monday to Friday drop and an appointment required outside those flexible times makes it easy to access services. Suanne is a gem.

Xuan is amazing!!! I took in my wedding dress and she shortened it for me (I’m 4’9”) and made it look flawless! You couldn’t tell that the dress was originally for a much taller woman. She also did all the alternations for my bridesmaids dresses and made the sari blouses for the reception saris from scratch and they fit perfectly. This place is a bit of a joke. Sure the prices are cheap, and the quality is decent at best, but you get what you pay for. They're incredibly flimsy with deadlines. I had scheduled for something to be picked up one day, and it says on my receipt they provided me that it would be done that day, and when I arrive to pick it up she says "Oh, you were scheduled to pick that up next week" which is a flat-out lie.

They were good with the simple stuff, but when it came to more complicated adjustments, threads couldn't deliver. My wedding suit was botched and I ended up having to buy a new suit. What would have been a 50$ modification ended up costing me 700$.
