I took my wedding dress there in hopes of getting it altered quickly. Two other seamstresses said they couldn't do it in the months time I had left before my wedding because of the layers, boning, lace and beading. Taking the dress to the place where I bought it was not an option as I had heard horror stories and they were very overpriced. Nocce altered the top and shortened the length in two weeks for a very reasonable price. She is very good at her craft - knows exactly what she's doing. The experience was awesome!! Couldn't have asked for anything better.

Amazing experience! Ileana was very kind and wonderful to work with. She was able to shorten my dress and take in the sides so that it fit me perfectly. Ileana was an absolute pleasure to work with. She bent over backwards and went above and beyond to make sure my wedding dress was everything I dreamed it would be. After some sizing and fit struggles, making my dress fit me seemed like an impossible task. Not for Nocce! She met with me on multiple occasions, and altered the dress bit by bit until it was perfect. I felt so incredibly beautiful on the big day thanks to her efforts. I took my wedding dress to get altered in 2020 and was discouraged from losing any more weight despite the dress already being too big because taking it in would be too complicated. When we postponed to 2021 I ended up taking it elsewhere and got it taken in without any issues despite having lost more weight. At the new shop I was also told the reason the bust fit extremely weird was because the cups were way too small for me and had been sewn in upside down when they were put in. The bustle and hemming were fine.

She did an amazing job on my wedding dress. I got different bra cups that are great quality, she made the cups sit perfectly and also added a second bustle so that the dress wasn’t tugging on the material too much - it makes it so much lighter and now I don’t have to worry when I dance all night on my wedding night. She is a lovely lady, and has a very cute bridal alterations basement, but my experience wasn't the best. She didn't take notes during my visit and I found I didn't get exactly what I'd asked for. I had simple alterations (take in the waist) which she did very well, but she forgot to attach the belt to dress. I also asked her to alter my mom's veil and was specific about which part I wanted kept, and which parts removed. She ended up scrapping the part I wanted kept and there wasn't much after the fact I could do about it. She also forgot about our appointment and I drove 45 mins both ways to get to. She was super apologetic about that. Basically I just wish she wrote things down more and maybe we wouldn't have had so many miscommunications

I bought my wedding dress at a store closing event, so it was "off the rack." The dress was a size 12, and usually I'm around an 8. The bodice is corset back and completed beaded, and the bottom is about 8 layers of tulle, etc. I took it to Nocce and Ileana worked her magic. She did an incredible job of altering my dress...top and bottom! And at an extremely reasonable cost. She had everything done in a timely manner, and was flexible with scheduling appointments. In between alterations (I had the top and bottom done at different times), she stored the dress in her studio and even washed some of the areas that were dingy from the store closing event. My dress is complete, but the wedding isn't until September so she's letting me store the dress at her studio until just before the wedding for no additional cost. I am so pleased with my experience and will recommend Nocce to everyone.

Today I picked up my wedding dress from Ileana and IT WAS AMAZING!!!!! She did such a great job. I heard of her through a friend of a friend and I am so glad I went to her. I live in Mississauga and it was defiantly worth the drive. My dress had lots of layers and I needed to fix the sleeves. When I put it on today it felt like this dress was made just for me. I had searched online to find a place to take my wedding dress, which required significant alterations. My dress is a heavily beaded lace with a scalloped hem and I knew that any kind of alterations would be tricky, to say the least. Based on online reviews I chose to go to Nocce in the hopes that they would be able to alter the dress. I am so thankful that I did!! From the very first appointment Ileana was amazing!! She not only said that she could alter the dress (which required to be sized down by 4-6 dress sizes) but explained to me how she would do this, her vision for the final outcome, and the cost to do so. I had several appointments to try on, and refine the fit of my dress. Along the way Ileana offered suggestions to refine and perfect the fit of the dress with each appointment, adding in nips and tucks that made the dress the perfect fit for my body. Her professionalism, experience and kindness never faltered, and were very much appreciated in the chaos of planning for a wedding, on top of fitting my busy schedule into her busy schedule. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the skilled work, expertise and craftsmanship that she offers her clients. Ileana listened to, and addressed all of my concerns along the process and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend any bride, bridal party member or person that requires dressmaking or alteration services to go to Nocce, you will not be disappointed!!
