I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Sonata and optional warranties in early July, and requested to cancel the warranties a week or so later. Initiating the request to cancel the warranties was like pulling teeth, as we did not get a response from the finance team (Ali, who we purchased the car with, or his boss Siamak) until we posted a negative review. We finally started the paperwork to refund the warranties, but the accounts payable specialist, Merritt Wgeishofski, sent the checks to the wrong address (our banks HQ is in Ohio and they sent the checks to a bank in Georgia) and told me “Since the checks have been cashed there’s nothing we can do.” Even when I brought to their attention (Yvette Soto, the Office Manager, and Noel Holler, the Customer Service Manager) that the address the checks were sent to was not correct, they still have not offered any assistance. A mistake on their side is now something that I have to fix, and as a consumer I believe it’s the responsibility of the business to find a solution to their mistake for the customer. Unfortunately that’s not something I’ve seen at all, and I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for even a halfway decent experience. At this point I’m forced to report the business to the BBB and seek counsel for a resolution.

Recently bought a Sonata and can say that I'm more than happy with the purchase. As someone who has bought several vehicles from dealerships, the process is not always a fun one but thanks to Monica the process was seamless. She guided me through every point in the sale and explained to me in detail what I was signing. Her willingness to help me out and not being pushy made it feel as though she legitimately cares about her customers. Matt was also extremely friendly and a great person to conversate with while Monica was submitting paperwork and helping other customers. He also gave me pop-tarts so no complaints there.

I haven’t encountered such unwelcoming treatment of prospect buyers for a long time. Because I initially expressed interest in a hybrid model and they didn’t have it in stock nor expected any time soon, their employee, a tall man, was reluctant to show the regular vehicle or discuss its features. When I asked for a test drive of a regular model, he responded: “Why bother, we don’t have a hybrid, and you won’t buy this one anyway”. I had to ask to talk to a different salesperson to learn more about the vehicle and do the test ride. The second person, Jessica, saved the situation - she was willing to help, gave an overview of the car, answered all the questions, let me try it out.

Mak explained the paperwork to me and made it all so simple. I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle from Hyundai of Kirkland. After looking at cars online across a number of different sites, my wife and I did a walk in and looked at a couple cars with Crystal. She was super kind and very patient in helping us figure out what we were looking for and educating us on features and considerations along the way. We didn’t feel any pressure at all from her to rush into a purchase, and while we were unable to reach an agreement on the price with the finance manager that day and ended up walking away, she stayed in touch and texted me when the Labor Day sale was coming up, and she continued to work with her manager to negotiate the price for us. We went back to the dealership today and completed our purchase of a Tucson. Working with Crystal was the most pleasant part of our car buying experience and I would recommend chatting with her if you’re in the market for a new car.

I do not say this casually, if I could I would give this dealership 50 stars. It may sound crazy to be willing to drive almost 2000 miles from Stillwater, OK to Kirkland, Washington to buy a vehicle but trust me when I say, I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Everyone I dealt with was like the "too good to be true" version of their respected departments because they were that friendly, accommodating and professional. From sales to finance, it was like I was the only customer they ever had. The deal they were able to secure for me after so many incredible discounts and a fair trade-in on my car was literally at first unbelievable. To the point I had to take a picture of the final bill to prove to my family that I wasn't being scammed. If you are in the market for a new or used vehicle you'd be doing yourself a tremendous disservice to overlook this dealership. One of the nicest dealerships. I didn't purchase my vehicle from this location but I will be coming here for future services. My car kept notifying me that I needed to get my car serviced even tho I had a serviced some months back, so I took it into this dealership. Because I don't really have that many miles in my car the alerted me that my car doesn't need a service and to bring it back when it reaches a certain limit. There was a guy and a girl who helped me out but the girl (Alexandria) was super helpful even gave me a free car wash coupon. I will say it would have been easier if I could have digitally signed for the vehicle or put earnest money down and not had to roll the dice by driving from a long distance (I live in the Spokane area) hoping no one buys it before me. David Kim (yes, we have the same name) took very good care of us even before walking into the dealership. His responses through e-mail and text were lightning quick, even until late hours of the night. When we got to the dealership, there was minimal negotiating required as he looked to get us the best deal even among a terrible climate for buying cars during the pandemic where other dealerships are charging up to $10,000 in market price adjustment due to shortages. There was zero market price adjustment and we were given excellent service. Highly recommend going to this dealership if you're looking to buy a Hyundai or Ford.

Monica and everyone at this dealership are AMAZING! I first called the dealership and got connected with Monica by chance (Thank god). From the beginning she was amazing, I told her exactly what car I was searching for and she found it and marked it as "sold" for me until I was able to get up to Kirkland to pick it up. The process was seamless, quick and I was so happy walking out of the door. Unfortunately, 13 days after purchasing my brand new car I was in an accident. I texted Monica the next day and this is when she went above and beyond as far as customer services goes. She checked in on me, and she let me know that she had the exact same car being shipped to the dealership in two weeks that already had my name on it. She did not have to do that, but I am SO grateful that she did. I am again walking away with a car I love and a great experience. I would recommend buying a car here, and I know where I will be purchasing my cars from in the future!

If I could give negative stars I would. I bought my car in early summer. On July 31st we canceled our TWO extended warranties, in writing, at the dealership (not even 30 days after buying our car). It’s been over 3 months now and NOTHING has been refunded to our lien holder. They say ONE of my refund checks were sent to the lien holder on 9/10/21, but my lien holder says nothing was ever received. They’ve also said that they’re waiting to hear back from “Hyundai” regarding my 2nd warranty cancellation… why is this taking OVER THREE MONTHS? Completely ridiculous. Oh and when I canceled my warranties in the office with Ali, he slammed his hands on the desk and yelled “OK!” at me because he was trying to get me to keep the warranties and I kept telling him no. He went on to mumble that “some people just don’t know” while slamming things around in his office. When we were done signing the cancellation document Ali then proceeded to say “Okay go!” shooing us out of his office. Super unprofessional and frankly, extremely uncomfortable and embarrassing. I wasn’t going to complain about that, but this process is taking so ridiculously long so obviously there’s multiple things this business needs to work on.

I just made my second purchase in three years from Hyundai of Kirkland. After purchasing a Kona in 2018 from David Kim through Internet Sales, I went back directly to David when I was looking for a new Santa Cruz. David and everyone at Hyundai of Kirkland are excellent at communication and kept me up to date on my vehicle status once it was ordered. On the day of purchase, they work very quickly to complete the trade-in and purchase paperwork. I worked with Blanca in the financing department for document signing. At other dealers this is usually a high pressure environment of upsells and add-ons, but at this dealership it is very comfortable, friendly, and easy. They have always offered me the best price for the vehicle, but the excellent customer service is equally as important, and I'm sure I will be back again.

Just purchased a new car and I love it! The whole process was simple, just a small wait on getting paperwork done but not bad at all. I was wanting a 21 Sonata but my salesman Carson found me a car just like it and it was a pleasure having him as a salesman. Edit: This dealership is needing better communication and better customer service after you purchase your vehicle. I was told I needed to come back for an inspection and to let them know when I would be able to come. I let them know over a week in advance and was told “Perfect, See you then”. The day comes and I let them know I’m on the way. As I’m on the way I was told they will not be able to fit me in because they are busy, was told someone from service would call me and no one has still to this day. Another thing ; My temporary tags are expiring soon so I called on Friday and asked if they were in. Was told they were and would be sent out on Monday since I live 2 hours away. Today is Thursday and I still have not received them and I called again and the person who answered seemed as if I was the biggest inconvenience. I asked if my plates were sent out and she says “Well I have them in my hand so no. I will send them out tomorrow and it will be there in a couple days” Same thing I was told when I first called. Super frustrated.

We were in the market to replace both of our aging cars After much research we decided to purchase a Hyundai. Now is not the best time to purchase a new car, but we needed to. We called multiple dealers in the area and almost all of them were vague on the pricing, some did not even mention the "market up charge" until we arrived. We checked with Kirkland Hyundai and what a breath of fresh air. Direct and to the point, exact pricing, (and might I mention an excellent price) We worked with David and he provided us with no nonsense pricing, direct and to the point. The overall dealership was great. Like all dealers they wanted to sell us extra coverage, etc. We said no and that was it, no pressure. Paper work completed and we were in our new Santa Fe. We liked the experience and no nonsense pricing that we drove the 5 hours again a week later to purchase a Kona for my wife. I would recommend Kirkland Hyundai to anyone in the market for a Hyundai.

I've bought many cars and motorcycles over the years but my recent experience here has put all prior experiences to shame. They are also one of the few dealers not adding ridiculous mark up due to the supply chain shortages so that's an immediate plus. I came in on a Friday afternoon in search of a Kona and was greeted by Carlton who introduced me to the wonderful Jessica Adams. She was quick, knowledgeable and very helpful. After a quick test drive I asked to run some numbers and she happily agreed to run every scenario I threw at her. I liked what I saw but I needed some assistance from my fiancé so we agreed that we would come back the next day. Early in the morning Jessica reached out to check on us and I was able to coordinate with her via text while I was at work. When we arrived at the dealer the car was upfront and ready to go. We went inside and after about 5 minutes paperwork was done. This was probably one of the quickest and smoothest transactions I've ever had.
