Incredibly expensive. One hem, and three two stichers , one not complete came home with the pin still in was $100. $25 per item, I could have fixed myself and replaced the item....the rest of my family has had similar bills and won't return. Crazy ????!! So shocked couldn't even say anything.. Wow.

I wish I would have read these reviews before sending my daughter there with her grad dress. A simple hem job shortening her dress by half an inch was so expensive. The dress is a straight and not flared or full dress. I picked it up and she told me 149.99! Due to the language barrier I thought she said 49.99 as that is what other places would have charged. Since it was close to her school and convenient for her I said just take it to the Sewing Shop. Big mistake! Then to top it off, I didn't get the dress back in our protective bag but thrown in a plastic shopping bag! And didn't receive a receipt either! We have another grad dress that needs altering but I certainly will NOT be going back to the Sewing Shop! Beware and ask first how much the job will be and get it in writing!

The owner is a new one. The place is open now. She has worked at the sewing shop in the orchard mall for 5 years and at another sewing shop for 3 years. She has worked on my hemmings a few times and it was fantastic every time. She has worked on patches, zippers, deesses, suits on my friends clothes and can make hairpins, hairties, scarves, corsage with leftover fabric. She's so good. I love her job. Highly recommended.
