Reasonable price, friendly service and very fast. Had pants hemmed to add a cuff to the bottom. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that the cuff has been sagging a bit, not holding up as well as the pair I brought to show as an example. Over-all though, wonderful service at a good price.

Veena is amazing! She replaced a zipper on my winter coat very quickly and chose a zipper that would match the rest of the coat since the previous zipper was difficult to repair. She has also altered two formal gowns of mine; both done perfectly! She is a wonderful woman, and a master at her craft! I will only be going to Veena's for help with my garments, I encourage others to do the same.

Please take a moment to read my post about KARMA As I have been in business for more than 10 years now, I have encountered many beautiful customers which they are the reason I come to work everyday, to service customers the best possible way I can and always ensure they leave with a smile on their face. As I have met many wonderful people, there are a few whom I unfortunately were not able to satisfy, which any business owner would have there ups and downs. Recently I have been victimized, and wrongfully targeted by a customer whom I unfortunately could not satisfy. They have left some untrue comments in the review section. I would just like to state as everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As I have some bad reviews I also have many fabulous ones.

By far my top alteration shop to go to. The alterations she did were perfect. She did alterations on my dress and two others for a wedding and none of us have any complaints. When the bust was too small for me she even managed to sew an old bra into it to make it work! And she saw me again the day before the wedding when I realized my dress was too long! She can see the vision of all of her alterations in her head and knows exactly what she needs to do to get there. 100% will return for any future alterations

I needed a zipper repair/replacement, it was not urgent, but Veena took care of it within a day. I am glad that she was able to fix it or the coat would have ended up in the garbage.

My go to place for alterations!! The first time I had come to Veena’s was for my highschool uniform to be hemmed and fitted! Fast forward 12 years and she now altered my bridal shower dress!! She did a wonderful job. I was so happy with it! The dress had an overlay of lace that was far too long for me and she fixed it and it looked so seamless. What a beautiful job! In addition, I brought a few shoes with me to my appointment and she helped pick which shoes would look nicest with the dress. She went above and beyond!

I have been taking my mother's repairs to Veena's for about a year now, and have had nothing but great results. She has worked on her shirts, pants, sweaters, and quilts..........from zippers to elastics and hems, and I have always been very pleased with the results of her work! Went to get a couch cushion cover fixed as the slider broke. Zipper was okay. I was told she had to replace the whole zipper because she could not use any other slider and it would be 2 new zippers and $50 and a 7 day turnaround. Went to get a second opinion and I paid $15 to have a new slider on the same zipper. So my thoughts she's a liar and wanted to rip me off.

I've been twice for alterations, one a bridesmaid dress and the other was my wedding dress. Veena did an absolutely amazing job with both of them! She also gave great suggestions on what she could alter to make the dresses fit me best. Very reasonable turnaround times as well so you're not waiting for long.

Visited Veena to get a few alterations done on a leather jacket. It was a very big job and the work was phenomenal! Veena did an amazing job. I than consulted Veena if it would be possible to get a few of my hockey jerseys altered, she kindly explained that everything had to be dry cleaned for hygiene purposes, which is of course completely understandable, to my fellow hockey players out there who would understand. After cleaning my jerseys I brought them to Veena to alter, once again she did such an amazing job, that I referred my teamates and they also went to Veena to get their jerseys altered.

I've been going to Veena for a few years now with my alterations and she is always very professional and has always done a great job on the alterations for me. The reviews certainly do seem to be very extreme in the like her/hate her camps but in my experiences I can say that she has always been great with me. Her work is very good and no issues have ever come up after the fact either. I would highly recommend her services.

My wife came to get a quote on alterations she needed for a dress for a wedding. Not only was the owner blunt and unprofessional, she told her she could not loosen the sides of the dress and could only do the hemming. She made comments such as "You can take the dress back and not go to the wedding" as an alternative solution just because she wouldn't have been to finish the piece on time. My wife was able to get this done in a timely manner at another seamstress without the uncomfortable experience. Would not recommend if you are looking for a pleasant seamstress.

Wow very polarized reviews. People seem to find Veena either great or terrible to deal with. I'm in the latter camp. I've had a few items tailored here and found her very blunt to the point of being rude. When she discovered that my daughter went to the girls' school in town she commented "isn't that a school for lesbians". What?? Are you kidding me?? Anyway customer service does not seem to be her first concern. It's like she's doing you a favour by doing your alterations. I've taken my business elsewhere in town for the last couple of years and won't return to Veena.

If I could rate this woman less than one star I would. Not only did I find her rude and to have extremely poor customer service skills, the minor alteration I had done was just terrible. My besutiful top is now ruined. I do not by any means recomend this buisness. I will not be returning here.
