Needed a dress hemmed and thought I would try this place out because it is so close to my house. The seamstress was pretty unfriendly but didn’t think anything of it initially. One week later, I picked up my dress to see no hem but that she had just cut my dress. I was shocked and disappointed to say the least. I asked for a hem, not a cut and my receipt had clearly stated a dress HEM for $25 plus tax. She told me that the dress fabric can’t be hemmed. (This was a maxi dress from an awesome Toronto company called Henkaa. I emailed them and they replied within a few hours telling me the seamstress was wrong. That the fabric can definitely be hemmed.) I paid reluctantly and then said to the seamstress that if I am just paying for a cut, could she at least cut my dress so the edges weren’t all jagged. She looked at me and said no because I was complaining too much. She started calling me names, saying my people are cheap and that I should go back to my “cheap Chinese places”. What a nightmare. Didn’t know what was worse- having my dress butchered like it was cut by my five year old or explaining to my kids in the car why that crazy woman was shouting at me. Go to Stitch in Time in south Whitby instead. They are lovely and competent there. Thought I would try somewhere closer but never again.

I walked in with about 10 different items that needed everything from repairs to alterations. The lady who works there is super friendly and nice. She went through every item and left notes on each one so she would remember. I got a call a week later, as promised, and everything was done at a price that was more than reasonable. My wife and I have both taken more items there.

Have had wonderful experiences with this business. Every time I'm there, I get a warm and pleasant greeting. My dry cleaning is always crisp, clean, and on time, and my alterations are always done perfectly. Recently I took a rush sewing job in and Hani, the owner, stopped what she was doing and made the repair while I waited. It was above-and-beyond service! I recommend this business.

I highly DON’T recommend this place for any clothing alterations. I brought my company work jacket to get the sleeves shortened, and IF my left arm was 1.5 inches shorter than my right it would be a perfect fit. If your seeking for an alteration place that cannot even verify measurements prior to any altering, this is the place for you.

The quality of drycleaning is good.but they forgot the alterations,even after I went 2 days after the delivery date.they weren't done the next day morning,then asked to come in 2 hours we went back in 4 hours,still not done!!! Making customers coming again and again for just a small work is really unprofessional.

We used to go but we had not been in sometime do to bad health, my husband went in to have something hemmed she said. Ohyou must go some where else now haven't seen you in long time..he just asked if she could hem something, before she answered him another customer walked in and she ignored my husband and went to the other customer my husband just walked out we go somewhere else now..

Terrible. Left 2 winter jackets with them. A week later and $50 later, got them back covered in dog fur. I don't have a dog, nor any other animal at home... Will not be going there again for sure.

I usually go here for my dry cleaning needs .. work is good and timely. I am writing this review however for my latest experience regarding an impromptu alteration I needed done. I only showed Hani what needed to be done and it took her less than a minute to fix up and I was out of the door. No questions asked. She saw my need of the hour and helped me without creating any fuss about last minute request or how busy they usually are. When someone reviews the client's need and can immediately decide on the action needed, that tells you can expect thorough professionalism from this store. Thank you Hani.

This is the best place I have ever gone to. Dry cleaning service is quick and well done. Her sewing skills are unmatched !!! I took in 6 leather covered couch cushions that needed repairing. The seams were worn out over time. She repaired them all over 2 years ago and they are still in mint shape. Leather sewing requires specialized strong equipment and she did a fantastic job at an amazing price !!!

Had a very bad experience on my first visit! Very pricey comparing to other places! And they did a very bad job my clothes smelled like curry and I had to dry clean them again, And I got it done for less than half price from stat cleaners. Will not recommend at all!
