Client service could use some work. It was busy when I was in and the gentleman was assisting someone else then at the same time took me, everything was overwhelming because I was being interrupted by the other client so communication was very hard. When I showed up to get my things the alteration was wrong, instead of hemming he lengthened my dress and there was still a hole in the armpit (which his wife argued wasn't a hole until I literally showed her a pulled thread and pulled it out then she said come back in 20 mins and I had already waited 2 days for my work uniform so I stayed to wait and it took about 5). When I mentioned the length issue, he attacked me saying this is what I asked for. I politely explained that I was sorry and I needed it shorter, he starts yelling and arguing with me saying I said longer. I mentioned how it was busy and it was a miscommunication and he must have heard me wrong and he said "it can get as busy as it wants in here, you still never told me to shorten it". To be argued with in front of people after already paying is ridiculous, I understand the customer isn't always right but you need to accept and come to an agreement that we both just miscommunicated. Nothing needed to be an argument instead if he provided good customer service he would have just fixed it without argument and making me feel upset. I didn't like that at all and will not be back.

I've been going to this shop for alterations for close to 20 years and they've never let me down. Alterations are performed in a timely manner at a reasonable cost.

I originally took my pants to another place closer to home that was going to take 3 days and charge me $75 to let out the waist and lengthen the hem. Instead I took my pants to C&S and paid $25 to have them altered and they were done on the spot in 10 minutes. I've had other alterations done here in the past and it's always great work. I highly recommend this business!
