Very poor job replacing zipper on shorts. Navy blue thread used on charcoal fabric. Puckering inside and tear in fabric where previous zipper was. Repaired this as best I could at home. Very poor quality of work. Will not go back.

It's cheap. And the people there are nice to have a friendly chat with. But they had completely forgotten my work pants at all until the day I needed them done by (3 days after drop off) for work. I had to stand there for 10 minutes waiting for them to finish them.

Had to go in 7 times to get my grad dress fixed. First time she made it too small, didn't hem the bottom, as well as she didnt fixed the the neck line of my dress making me have to go in a bunch of times. The recent time I went in she left 2 big holes in my dress from taking the dress in. Then I got it fixed and she did it very horribly. Definitely wouldn't go here again nor would I suggest anyone to go to her

Had a short sleeve collared shirt adjusted. Talented tailor, excellent taper sides and back, paid attention so fitted but not overly so. Quickly adjusted the sleeves when I went to try it on. Fast service, resonable prices, pleasure to interact with. I'd recommend stopping here if in Kamloops. Wish she was in Vancouver!

I brought a cheap suit that didn't fit me of which I bought from Winners. I hadn't heard of Carla's but I thought I would give her a try. She new exactly how I wanted it fitting, slim and tailored and the full suit was done in 2 days! The pants were slightly tighter than I wanted, but no issues at all as I brought them back and Carla fixed them that afternoon. Oh, and the cost was half of a suit tailored at other places. She can turn a mediocre off the rack suit into a custom Italian bespoke suit. I highly recommend her if you are a young man in my situation. She made me look great.

Go elsewhere. Had a waterproof zipper fail on an expensive jacket, so I went in to have it replaced. Pretty simple. I stated my preference for the replacement zipper to be waterproof as well. What I got back was a loosely stitched and uneven zipper that was an inch longer on one side than the other, was not waterproof(although not critical), and they charged me about 21 times the price of the zipper alone. Looks like I'll be buying a new jacket then.

3 articles of clothing ‘fixed’ Went in with 3 articles to be fixed. My first concern was they did not provide a pick up slip. Got a call a few weeks later and picked up TWO articles as they had misplaced one (still have not found and they did not seem at all concerned about this, jokingly saying ‘I guess we owe you a new shirt’) Shortly after wearing a shirt that had buttons replaced - 2 of the buttons became unstitched and fell off. I was Able to wear a pair of shorts which zipper had been separating for a month before it became separated again A shame, as I try to support north shore businesses as much as possible but with this Lousy workmanship and aweful customer service I Will never go back and will tell everyone to avoid.

Horrible customer service. Charged $430 to hem curtains. Not even make them....HEM them. Then ruined said curtains. They were much shorter than they were supposed to be and when asked about it she pointed to the sign on the door saying no refunds, then said go get a lawyer, tossing the box on the counter.
