Love coming here for their plant based clothing! They also alter all their pieces which make the clothing last forever. Come here to try very limited edition pieces!
Incredible staff, warm environment, everyone was so friendly and happy to help. My fiance loves to shop here and they were all so excited when we announced our engagement because they had been a part of the outfit choosing for the surprise engagement shoot. I would 100% recommend.
Love the hospitality! Y’all felt like my besties I love it
All the nicest pieces in my closet are from Workhall! I love the designs and personalized service. Having the clothes tailored on site is so convenient.
I had the most horrible and unprofessional experience here. I was here today at around 3pm with my boyfriend and we were tailgated for no reason. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable by the sales associate and overall was a very uncomfortable and awkward experience. We entered the store and the SA asked me if I had been here before to which she said I had a doppelgänger when I said I hadn't (weird). As we made our rounds, 2 steps into the store, we were followed around by the same blonde SA. My boyfriend saw a dog they had in and was all excited to which she asked if we had a dog. She asked him what kind and he told her but this was not sufficient??? We replied yes and she demanded photos from him, yes demanded. This was a little bit weird but we walked away for a bit and laughed it off very awkwardly. Once we made our rounds from the back to the front, she approached us again and demanded photos of our dog which my boyfriend reluctantly showed her, we found this part very invasive as we did not know how to decline. She was all in our faces and then proceeded to ignore me and only continued a very suggestive conversation in front of me with him. She went on about how she loved dogs and didn't have one of her own and then she saw the Gravity Pope bag he was holding, to which her eyes lit up. She then asked him what we had bought from there which seemed odd. Anyways, the conversation continued as I was ignored, standing there staring at her. The both of us work as commission sales associates and have never seen this selling tactic before. For example, we would ask if the customers have done some shopping but asking what is very invasive as well. Some people don't want to disclose with you if they've boughten clothes or perhaps, sex toys. The aggressive SA excuse does not make any sense since this is a women's store and if she were trying to make her/the store's sales goal, I think she should have tried to talk to me instead of my boyfriend. We will not be shopping here again as the store fails to educate and train its employees on professionalism and how to make customers feel welcome. Regardless of her intentions, it was very unpleasant to be questioned and followed around while we were trying to shop around. Not once was I asked what we were looking for, suggested any merchandise, or any promotions in store.
Nothing short of perfect customer service, amazing quality garments. 10/10 would recommend!!
Workhall is my happy place. Friendly staff who will actually give an honest opinion. Also, they're local.
Beautiful locally designed clothes
If I could give this 0 stars I would. Not only did they accidentally over charge my friend but they also couldn't refund her for the mistake THEY MADE. Instead they put it on a gift card and the Manager also mentioned she could give an additional credit for the inconvenience -Okay great BUT (and this time I went with her) when she went to use the credit, according to sales clerk the extra credit didn't exist on the card. Cue someone who is higher up, maybe even higher up than the Manager, Jess. Not only was she clearly in a bad mood but she constantly rolled her eyes and to top it off, said that the credit expired. Couldn't that of been nice to know? My friend being the ridiculously nice person she is said she could just come back. Cue me. I said that the manager should contact HER not the other way around. After fighting it a little bit they gave in and gave it to her. Great customer service *sarcasm* SO THIS IS BASICALLY WHAT EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW WHEN THEY SHOP AT WORKHALL 1. double check the prices before paying, they may overcharge you and then not refund you. 2. The customer service is awful 3. just don't even do it.
One of my favourite local stores in the city, always has the most unique and comfortable clothing, and the staff are always extremely helpful with styling and service. Five stars always!
Abysmal customer service. As soon as they have your money, they no longer care despite earlier promises of lifetime alterations. Have had issues with alterations done - such as fraying seams, buttons & buckles falling off, etc. - and upon returning to the store, received a plethora of odd excuses to avoid having any of these issues fixed. Will not be returning here unfortunately, as cute as the clothes are.
I purchased a sweater from them on Feb 8th, I absolutely loved the color and shape but needed it taken in a bit on the waist and arms. They informed me they did free alterations on all their items and fitted me right there, it was a great experience. I was told that it would take about a week and that after alterations it would become a final sale, I assumed this would be fine. After a week I was in the neighborhood so I called the shop to see if my item was ready and was told that it was. When I went to pick up the sweater I tried it on and noticed that it was very bulky around the seams and when I turned it inside out noticed that none of the excess fabric had been removed. I pointed it out to the sales associate and she agreed with me that the alternation was not done properly, apologized, and offered me a credit that would be valid for 30 days. I assumed this credit is something I could use when I came back again to pick up my item. After another week I tried to call the shop to check the status of my alterations. I called multiple times and no one answered the phone. Later that evening I received an email saying that because of covid-19 alterations were being delayed, which I found completely understandable. After 3 weeks from receiving the email (6 weeks since original purchase) I still had not heard anything. I tried emailing the store to which I did not receive a response. I attempted to call the shop multiple times and either did not have anyone answer, or if they did I would be told I would receive a called back within a specified amount of time and never got called back. On Saturday March 27th I decided to just go into the store and check the status in person. The sales associate that greeted me was very lovely, I explained the situation to her and she seemed very sympathetic. She told me again about the delays in alterations and got someone to grab my sweater, nothing was changed. The seams were still extremely bulky and I mentioned this to one of the sales associates and was told that it looked fine and it was fixed. I flipped the sweater and showed her the excess fabric and told I was wrong and that it was fixed, that the seam needed to be steamed flat. The phrase "this is my job, trust me" was used multiple times. Eventually I was so frustrated, that I let them take it and steam it so I could leave, because I was not being listened to. While waiting the original SA that greeted me sat and chatted with me, again being very lovely. Another SA walked up and gave me a bag with my sweater in it without saying word and I left. When I got home and tried on the sweater it still looked awful, my roommate even making the comment "what's wrong with the sleeves?". I'm stuck with an ill fitting sweater, but most of all I'm upset about the atrocious customer service. The fact that I made so many attempts to reach out and was completely ignored and when I voiced my concern I was told I was wrong. Also I was told they would reinstate my credit and have not heard anything about that. this has been extremely disappointing, I will never shop there again and will advice others to not shop there in the future.
I had a wonderful experience shopping here and love their clothing
Workhall is literally the best. The clothes are fantastic, the prices are good, and the staff are amazing.
I've never had such an amazing experience shopping at a boutique before! Staff were beyond kind and helpful, and each item is tailored to you
One of my favorite places to shop in Edmonton! Helpful and informative staff, local designer with high quality fabrics. Fun and professional designs. I love shopping here!
This company is amazing! They have everything you could want in a brand. Quality, Customer care, Fantastic designs, Sizing is realistic and inclusive, pricing, my favourite clothes come from here :)
Fantastic attitude, ethical practices, materials, and awesome style. This locally owned business has the best price/quality ratio around and the customer service surpasses any shop we have been to. This is a must stop everytime we are in Edmonton.
Ayla and Kieu were both so amazing! They fit me into their schedule quickly and helped me pick out something for a wedding! Ayla had such a great eye for what would look good on me and was totally right!! I felt amazing in the picks she had for me, and am very happy with my purchase! The price of all the clothes also includes tailoring, so I will have the jumpsuit fit perfectly to my body! So happy with my experience here, will definitely return!
I love the designs, fabrics and the handcrafted products here. Not to expensive. The products are made with quality. I find a lot of the products are more flowy and fun rather than it being more fitted. There are options though. The employees are customer service oriented and give great suggestions. I would go back again!
I only own a couple of items from Workhall, but they are very special pieces and are of great quality. I love their story and the range in fashion choices they have - such creative pieces.
My first time shopping with them was during the holidays, and I got a great deal on a few pieces. They offer full customer service, so when I’m in the mood for it, I love getting good service like this. If you’re looking for an independent shopping experience, you likely won’t find it here. I’ve already received many compliments on the pieces I bought, and because of their tailoring service, they fit me perfectly. I’ll definitely be back to buy some items at full price next time.
Such a cool Edmonton business! And lovely, helpful staff :)
Cute, trendy, minimalist, locally-made clothes. Always great service, always great clothes and amazing display.
They have the best customer service and no charge, quick garment alterations. A favourite local Edmonton store!
Beautiful, comfortable clothing! The people who work there are so helpful and are not pushy at all. Always love stopping by.
Fabulous experience fabulous clothing
One of my fav stores in Edmonton. I only wish I could afford more of their beautiful things. Everything is hand made and soft and lovely. There are free alternations and really nice staff. Everything they make is soft and comfy, and you can tell someone thought about the designs so that women feel good in them. I wish my entire closet could be workhall.
literally the best staff ever! honestly made the whole experience really fun
One of my favourite shops in the town. This is my second visit this little hidden gem in Whyte Ave. The SA here are extremely friendly and helpful for picking up the right one for you. Welcoming water and ice cream are great for summer! Come and check up all these beautiful outfits! Special thanks to Jess who had helped me in fitting and trying all these lovely items! Definitely will come back late on!
I have purchased an amazing dress and trousers from here in the past. I had not been in the store for a while but came in on Sunday afternoon. I was not so impressed by the current collection (honestly, the loungewear is certainly...interesting) but the sales associate made the experience uncomfortable. She greeted my friend and me as we came in the door. We had a similar experience as another reviewer I just read: Asked if we are working during Covid, if we had plans for the upcoming weekends this spring, said we looked familiar, tailgated us and asked several times what we thought of the clothing, what colour we would choose, how would we layer it, told us what movies certain items reminded her of (Pretty Woman, Daphne from Scooby Doo...)... It was uncomfortable. She did give us each a bottle of water, that was kind. This associate was eventually occupied by another customer, so a new associate approached us quickly and asked the EXACT SAME QUESTIONS. It drove us out of the store!
I went to the WorkHall Mega Sale at Kingsway Mall. The employees there were very helpful and they were always around when I needed help. Also they were very informational on all the items I was looking for. Overall I was very happy with my experience and the clothing. I would definitely check out their Whyte Ave location.
Clothes are extremely beautiful - simple and made from lovely sustainable fabrics. Free alterations. The staff is... Aggressively friendly. Once you get used to them being the most in-your-face nicest people ever - crowding around you to gush and ask questions - then it actually starts to be really fun! You feel pampered and the girls are great. Just be prepared for socialization.
Excellent customer service! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Had a great experience. The clothing is well made and priced fairly.
Really stylish, good quality clothes! Every time I go it's such a great experience because the staff there are so friendly and helpful. They help give you ideas of how to piece things together too, which I love. The fabrics used are so nice and the colours are unique. The spacing and how the clothes are organized really help with the experience too. It is overall a very comfortable place to shop.
I really want to like this place because I love their clothes and they carry Okakie which is an Indigenous owned company. The first time I went here years ago I had an amazing experience. However, recently I have began finding the experience incredibly stressful and awkward. The sales associates are almost expected to maintain a level of enthusiasm that is very intense and they use a very high pressure sales approach. It’s honestly what I imagine it’s like when someone is trying to get you to join a culture. Like super intense. They come off as ingenuine. They ask things like “where do you work” in order to make it seem like they are interested in getting to know you but it seems like a sales tactic to get to know how much money you will be spending. If you do plan to shop here, your best approach is to brush the workers off until you actually need something or they will follow you and throw way more things at you then necessary. And whatever you do DO NOT FALL FOR THE CLOTHING ALTERATIONS GIMMICK. You can always return later to get the items altered. If you have the items alter right off the bat, you can’t return them. While it’s a great service to offer, they do a pretty bad job at alterations other than the basic hemming. And if you do make the mistake of having your items altered, don’t expect to be able to just “pick up” your items. It will be a long and tedious process where they ignore you for 10 minutes, make you try the items on, and then make you wait another 20 minutes because the clothes will look like it came out of a shopping bag and needs to be steamed before you can take it. Again, I can’t stress this enough… it is an incredibly awkward experience. I wish Workhalll would go back to having a normal sales approach and be a normal clothing store rather then whatever weird situation they have going on right now.
Really cute store and the ladies there are so helpful and friendly!
Had an awesome time shopping at Workhall today! Ally and Francis were so helpful and made me feel extremely comfortable trying on pieces I never would have even thought of!! Best retail customer service I've ever received! ????
It's ok. The patterns could use a lot more color.
The girls are so amazing and so kind. They are very personable and incredibly helpful. They remember your name and your style , they offer suggestions and style tips. I always enjoy my time with them and leave with pieces I absolutely adore .
I really want to love this store, and I do absolutely love the clothes. However, the staff is very aggressive for sales, I go into the change room with 2 things and they bring me 10 to try, which I don't really appreciate. I love the free fixing and alterations, but I've now had to take two brand new sweaters back because of sewing defects that needed to be fixed. This is quite a hassle for brand new $80+ sweaters that I would expect to be well made, and now that they are moving fully online it isn't worth buying to have to figure out how to ship and deal with online alternations without the store front
In the past, I would walk past this place and admired their window display. Today, I visited this place for the very fist time and I have to say that my experience was absolutely wonderful. Ladies in the store helped me whenever I needed help but at the same time they gave me time to make the right shopping choices. I bought 1 item and am considering to go back as a few other items drew my interest. The collection in this store is not the cheapest but very unique and well worth its price. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience! *UPDATE* Changing the review from 5 to 4 stars. After wearing the item twice, about 4 buttons fell off :( I ended up sewing all the buttons on my own but I still love the item I bought.
I bought a dress here for $135 dollars and wore it once. The dress began to pill and the fabric began to fall apart almost immediately. I called the store to speak to someone and no one returned my call. Pushy sales and poor quality product - buyer beware.
Super friendly staff that cares for their clients. Goes far and beyond to help. My go to favourite store ♡ All the staff are so fun to be around!
Great customer service, styles cut to flatter all body types, lifetime tailoring included!
Great shop lovely design lovely staff. You must visit ????
Love the staff so much❤️ Such lovely ladies. Great service. The clothes are very good quality, elegant and classic designs for reasonable prices. I’m so happy I found this store and am looking forward to returning soon!
Love this store. Beautifully designed clothes and they do free alterations until your garment is perfect
@workhall A design and fashion studio on Whyte Avenue. Offering quality, plant based and blended materials that intimately cradle and hug your body. They have genuine staff who are ever so helpful with fittings and know just what to say to boost your mood. The brand is exceptional in their commitment to their customers, in that they offer lifelong garment alterations to ensure your comfort is met, but also simultaneously reducing waste. The clothes are versatile, high quality and innovative in their design and structure. It’s the place you buy a gift card for a friend because you trust they will have an exceptional experience stopping in. ???? highly recommend
My daughter opened her surprise box for her birthday yesterday. WOW! Jenna you made perfect selections!!! Everything fit, even the more fitted sports bra.
I don't love doing reviews but my gf asked me to. We went here for our anniversary. She loved it. The service was top notch. The food was great. I highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking to impress your gf date.
This place is a gem! Their prices are a little on the higher side, comparable to dynamite, aritzia, certain brands at the bay but for what you get it is totally worth it. The staff is amazing! So so helpful, they offer tailoring on site and it is included in the cost of the garment. The clothinf was unique, trendy, and varied to suit a wide range of tastes. I will be going back ASAP
It took me awhile to discover Workhall and I am still sad that I didn't find them sooner!! These clothes are somehow universally flattering, comfortable, well made and affordable. Staff are always so enthusiastic and helpful. And they plan fun promos, special offers and giveaways. This is a local shop that although now online only, I will continue to support 1000%!
I recently purchased a dress for my birthday and it was perfect. The quality and fit of the dress was beautiful, and definitely exceed my expectations. I can’t wait to shop for more clothing at Workhall! I recommend shopping here!
My daughter went in there to check it out, they were so kind and helpful. Such cute clothes.
Staff are always so helpful and kind. And I love all the clothes I get here. They're amazing quality, so totally worth the price.
I can barely dress myself, my sense of style normally stops at jeans and a sweater. I recently got a new executive level job with a social organization. The staff at Workhall were amazing!! Their picks for office casual wear were spot on! I found myself buying my first stunning jumpsuit, the softest sweater ever, and a great pair of comfortable professional pants that go with everything. I unfortunately don’t remember their names, but a huge shoutout to the designer of the hot black jumpsuit, and the two UofA students in accounting and fine arts working their tails off to make me look bomb! You made this the best shopping experience ever! Will definitely be back soon!
I used to love this store and rav about it, but today I was honestly quite thrown off by the staff there. I am a triathlete and I shredded 15 pounds off in the last year and I’m proud of it, I typically wear 6 in everything lulu, so I’m mostly between s/m, today a girl from the store was helping me who appeared to be a size or two up from me, she consistently told me to size up to large when grabbing clothing. It left me feeling insecure about what I was wearing and the way I look. Also recently the quality seems to have gone down, I love shopping local but I’ve had better luck at miss boss - highly recommend
The ladies who work here are very helpful. The styles range from fun and refreshing to your favourite everyday staple pieces. They also offer wonderful tailoring services. I had a seam come undone while I was hanging out on whyte and they gave me a quick mend!
Great service. Clothes are beautifully made. Worth the visit.
My girlfriend and I had stopped into Workhall on 82ave late afternoon on February 14th in order to get some shopping done. After being greeted by a shorter blonde associate, I had shown excitement as there was a puppy in the store and the SA had asked me if I had a dog, to which I told her I did. She then stated that she "had to see my dog" and that I had to show her a picture. My girlfriend and I just shrugged it off and continued to try to make our way through the rest of the store. Only making it halfway through the store, we were then confronted by the SA again, this time asking quite aggressively, borderline demanding, to see a picture of my dog; I felt like I had a weapon pointed at me or something as I didn't know how to refuse. After awkwardly showing her a picture, she then went on to explain how she loved dogs, and that she wished she could have one of her own, since we had not asked. At this point I felt incredibly uncomfortable and awkward because at no point were we asked about any merchandise or our intent to be in the store. I felt extremely out of place as she had not acknowledge my girlfriend during the conversation an actively worked to exclude her. I'd also like to note that she also proceeded to ask what we had purchased from Gravity Pope which I felt was rather invasive as customers sometimes feel uncomfortable disclosing their purchases and what they spend their money on. After working years in commission based retail and being a customer at various different commission based stores, I have never been interacted with in such an invasive way. I not appreciate being followed and harassed on our day out shopping and my girlfriend did not appreciate being ignored. I was quite disappointed and shocked after this experience and we will definitely not be back. Our first impression has definitely made a lasting impression of the company's values and what behaviours they deem acceptable. I think the HR seriously needs to reconsider whom they hire as this is definitely damaging to the store's reputation. Whether or not the SA had the intent to ignore my girlfriend and make me feel violated, unfortunately, it happened on our first and last visit. The whole interaction made me feel rather uneasy as there seemed to be no intent on even selling or promoting merchandise to us.
Workhall Studio is an absolute GEM of a find in Edmonton. I only recently discovered them and I'm so thankful. I was hesitant to go in, thinking I wouldn't fit or like anything they had. I couldn't have been more wrong. The clothing is absolutely beautiful - designed with intention, beauty and environmentally conscious. And the staff are incredibly knowledgeable, fun and love helping everyone. I've been back several times over the last month and have come out with something awesome every time. Nicole, Jess, Sierra and the crew are doing it right! <3
Love the clothes but the sales associates were over-bearing from the moment I walked in. My friend went in right after me and she had the EXACT same experience. Based on my experience here I will not visit this store again.
It looks like its going to be so posh from the outside that you wont want to shop here. But your wrong, go in, try things on, look around. The staff at all the locations I have been to are genuinely friendly and helpful. The dresses my friends have purchased have look custom taylored to them.
Why are the sales associates aggressive and pushy on trying to get you to buy something? I'll walk in, be followed, and the moment I hold something they go in like hawks.
Been going here since 2016!! Its the best store for local design and they've started using more plant fibres for their clothes! Lifetime alterations are also included in the pieces which keep them lasting forever. Will be shopping here forever ????
In the past, I absolutely loved Workhall. The items I have purchased from here have been fantastic, and the sales associates have been helpful. More recently, I've been disappointed with this store. 1) I do not understand why the store is only open one day a week (especially since their online stock is extremely limited compared to what is is in store), which reiterates my second point, 2) the online stock is extremely limited and does not even begin to showcase everything that is in store, and 3) I've had weird interactions with sales associates via Instagram - which is what I have used to inquire about items I see posted on IG but not available online - whoever is responding to the DMs is pretending to "know me" and chat like we are friends who haven't talked in a while, and then is suggesting colors and sizes of items that a) I am not interested in, and b) would absolutely not fit me. It is unfortunate, because I truly love some of the items, but being able to actually shop, and have an enjoyable experience is limited.
Nicole is so knowledgeable. We walked in and she knew with a glance which item was best for my body. After trying on multiple things I went with her very first recommendation and more!
Incredible customer service: helpful, informative and welcoming! I found an incredible holiday dress I will be sure to wear on multiple occasions - the material is versatile to include as a travel necessity or party essential. I am beyond thrilled to have discovered this gem and hope you do too!
Amazing customer service, top quality (with complimentary life alterations!), unique fabrics and individual style (I get people asking, “you got that from Workhall, didn’t you?”)... at this point half of my wardrobe is from Workhall... I hope they open more stores across Canada and eventually across the world! Love love love this brand!
Gorgeous clothes, soft fabrics, stunning and unique designs; this store is my greatest weakness. ;)
Amazing experience!! These ladies help you find just the right pieces for your wardrobe!! Thanks for all your help ladies ????
Workhall is wonderful, and one of the few stores that I actually enjoy going to shop at! Simple, timeless pieces and their tailors are fantastic! I have never had a bad experience, and all of the staff members are so helpful and kind.
Sending a shout out to Workhall Studio for always providing AMAZING customer service. They make you feel like you’ve known them forever. And it’s not just one employee that is like this.....it’s every employee. I feel like Norm off the show Cheers. I maybe go in 4 times a year and they remember me and my girls. Their product speaks for itself. Teen and women’s clothing. Unique and ahead of the trends. If you haven’t been there, please stop in. They are on Whyte Ave. You won’t regret it.
Terrible customer service - don't shop here unless you want to be disappointed. I regularly walk by the store downtown and followed Workhall on instagram; I liked the aesthetic of the clothes, as they have an Aritzia vibe. Long story short, I purchased a few items online during a sale; the sale was really good (was essentially buy one get half off), so I thought why not see what they're all about. Fast forward to the items arriving and it was a major disappointment. The quality of the items simply isn't there and to be frank, the items leave much to be desired. The biggest issue I had is one of the tops I purchased looked nothing like the photo advertised (the color was completely off) so I went into the store to see if I could exchange for another color. While in store they told me that I'd have to speak to a manager about it but there were none working (interesting timing...), and instead I was given an email address to email. I sent about 3 emails and never heard back - not even a sorry we are unable to accommodate you. Beware when you shop here especially if you purchase something online, that they don't have a reasonable return policy. If the photo doesn't match the item you receive - they don't care. As well, if you buy online the return policy is terrible; so if for whatever reason you still feel the need to shop here after reading this post, at least do yourself a favor and go in store to see if the item fits and looks as expected.
The thing that struck me the most was the customer service. Not overbearing, but still very friendly. One of the employees saw I was looking for a black dress, and picked one out for me while I was in the changing room. I ended up taking the one she recommended! Very cute store:)
The staff are always so friendly and know what other styles might work great for me. I love the free, lifetime alterations. The staff know how to pin the clothes on me so they can be altered to fit me better, and so far the alterations have been a success. I love the variety of clothes for casual, office, or dressing up. Plus, I like that the clothes are designed locally in Edmonton and produced in LA. The only thing I dislike about Workhall is the return policy, which is only for exchange or store credit. However, I like their clothes so much I haven't had to return anything yet.
I had purchased a dress here for an impromptu wedding I attended. The next day, after about one hour at the wedding (I was standing) my partner pointed out that the entire bottom of my dress was pilling. Threads were even beginning to come out. This was very noticeable because the dress was a light mauve colour and was bodycon in style. I went home to change, and the next day I called the store to let them know what happened. The owner told me to meet her that week to take a look at the dress at her whyte ave location to see if she could fix it for me. On the day and time of our planned meetup, she was nowhere to be found, and I was told by the store manager that she had gone home for the day because it was slow. No call was made to me to reschedule, no note was left for the store so that someone else could help me, so I had to reiterate my issue to the store manager. Before even allowing me to finish telling her what happened, she tantalized me with ridiculous questions like ‘well did you sit down in it at all?’ (Are people not supposed to sit in your clothing? This should be better advertised) she then went on to tell me that I am ‘the only person who has ever had any issues with Workhalls clothing’ when in reality, there are other reviews posted here regarding similar issues to mine...I brought this up, she actually blamed all of the bad reviews on people who were ‘out to get the company’ or ‘jealous of the company’ and not actually real customer reviews...which was an interesting reflection of the company, and the manager. Kind of made me chuckle. In the end I received no help, no ‘apologies for the inconvenience’ and no refund. Basically a kick out the door and some dirty looks along with it. I was made to think that the fabric not even holding up for one single hour was my own fault. The owner never followed up with me either, about no-showing our scheduled meetup regarding the dress. This company most certainly does not stand behind the quality of its products. This is clearly reflected in their return policy. Once you give them money, they are guaranteed to have it forever even if the product does not stand up, apparently. I cannot begin to describe how horrified I am with the absolute unprofessionalism and treatment I received from this company, especially after my many years as a patron. I am actually embarrassed that this is an Edmonton based company. With competition like Frank and Oak, and Oak and Fort, I can see this company going under very soon with the laughable way they conduct their business.
A tad late with this review, but better late than never! This is my absolute favourite clothing store! The fabric quality is amazing and I love their styles and use of colour. I went for a private shopping experience a few weeks ago (you can call or book online), and it was really fun! I love how they’ll actually tell you if something isn’t fitting right and give you really good recommendations. You can tell everyone is passionate with what they’re doing. I really can’t recommend this place enough!
Had a great experience multiple times in a row with designer Nicole, always so helpful, dresses me to my body type, which is a size 10-14 I feel sexy in everything and love all of it!
Great experience at the location on Whyte Ave
This is a women's clothing store that sells high end fashion clothing. The coolest thing about this store is the clothing is made local and the fabrics are ethically and sustainably sourced.
I'm really happy with my purchases from here though they are few (it's pricey- but I understand why) It's a really beautiful space, with high quality clothing!
I LOVE the clothes but unfortunately they keep making it harder and harder to shop there. There is very little available for purchase on their website, and they are one of the only stores I know that did not make it easier to shop online during the pandemic. Now they are open by appointment only, so you can’t walk in to shop either. Honestly I found the sales staff to be quite overbearing in the first place, but now that it’s by appointment I feel there will be even more pressure and hovering. It’s really disappointing.
