My daughter and I were a walk in. Dawn was kind, understanding, caring, and most important honest. She explained how to put a bra on properly, how a bra should fit, and how a bra should be washed ( I was surprised at her answer). She discreet and to the point. Was asked to wait 10 m for a fitting and ended up waiting 45. Told the fitter (the owner) my size and she wasted a few more minutes having me try on wrong sizes "to be sure". She took a very long time to find bras, coming back with one or two. The she would disappear for 10 minutes and I could hear her chatting with others while I'm waiting shirtless in the change room. Not including waiting to get in a change room, it took nearly an hour to try on 6 bras, 3 of which were actually my size. Not impressed, won't return.

So rude! I mentioned I was on my way to another appointment and I was given such attitude about “everyone is busy” and excuses about why they were complaining about one of their vendors rather than getting the bra. The bra had been ordered 4 weeks previously and they were disparaging another vendor during that appointment. Been using them for fittings for years previously but they just lost my business and earned my disgust.

I drove 3 hours round trip to go to Dawn's Bra-Tique last Saturday and it was worth the time and effort for me to get there. I arrive a early and they let me know it would be a couple minutes until a room was available. The staff was very polite. I was shown a room and the lady introduced herself and asked what size was I wearing currently. She brought in a couple bras to try on and asked what style I was looking for and offered she could come in and fit each one or I could try them on myself. She brought in several bras and came in each time to make sure it was a good fit. I was able to find 4 good fitting bras. Good quality bras are worth the money. Already I feel more secure (I'm a large chested lady), I don't feel like I need to readjust and pick at them like I was with my old bras and my back hurts less. I was very impressed with the service and glad I booked my appointment ahead of time. I took over an hour and not once did I feel rushed or pressured to buy. I asked how much the bras I liked were so there was no surprised when I got to the counter. She explained the best way to wash the bras and offered that I could ship my bras if they need to be adjusted in anyway (saves me the 3 hour drive). I highly recommend Dawn's Bra-Tique. You will be paying for quality but look at it this way.. I have replaced my bras 3 times in a year and these 4 will last me at least a year. Way cheaper to buy quality in the long run! Good job ladies. I will be back.

Dawn's service and selection is excellent. It's worth it to make an appointment with her whether you're a "difficult to find" size or not. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she offers alterations for bras to fit you perfectly if you're a little between sizes.

Honestly this is ridiculous service was poor dawn I think the owner and Tracy both rude I bought two pairs of bras returned both sets the next day ask for repairs or replacement dawn said it would take two weeks until she could stitch them, but it will cost extra 110 $ services are you serious or I could re order the sa,e bras within 5 days I bought another pair and returned it due to size issues I had the receipt and everything and she told me that this wasn’t there bra and they don’t sell the bra I bought from them, fraudssss.

First time I was here. My massage Therapist recommended me to come here. I was here all the way from Fort McMurray just for bra fittings. It took 50 minutes for the fitting and trial. She gave me 10 bras to try. She was very gentle, friendly and helpful. However, she was helping 2 to 3 customers at the same time! I thought It would be very expensive to assess by fitter. I was happy that they didn’t charge anything for the fitting service. Just charged for the bra only, which was expensive (because the one I choose is expensive brand!). Variety of bra and accessories are available here. They always ship to home. There are parking spots at the back and road side parking. Washroom is very clean with some face towels! Store is very clean. Recommend others to try this store.

What an amazing experience we had at Dawn’s Bra-tique. My daughter and I were scrambling last minute 2 days before her grad to find a suitable bra/bustier for her dress that was supportive, low back, and strapless. After countless shops we finally came to Dawn’s shop and her and her seamstress and her whole team worked very hard and pulled off a miracle for us. They found a bustier in stock in her size, altered it to fit her better and also took fabric from her dress to cover the bustier where it peaked out on the sides. It just looked like part of her dress and it looked amazing. I am extremely impressed with the customer service from beginning to end. The whole team went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely be a returning customer.

I LOVE this boutique. Dawn is so incredibly knowledgable, and I have always found exactly what I needed. I walked into this store on a whim after looking for comfortable (and stylish) bras in my size. I hadn't been able to find anything until then! Dawn is amazing!! Patient even when I came in with my baby and had to nurse part way through my appt. As a nursing mom it is amazing to have a bra that fits properly but I can still nurse in! They converted the bra that fit me ($18) into a nursing bra! My back doesn’t hurt quite so much now and I have the convenience that a nursing bra brings. They also informed me that as I change size (down) they can alter my nursing bra to the smaller to accommodate the change rather than having to purchase new! Amazing!! Also found plus sized sports bra that really does support the girls! Will be going back for years to come!! Ps my now 4 bras have each been around $100.

Dawn and Kat are amazing. Both my teen girls (18&13) and I only buy here. Custom fit and needed adjustments always a pleasure with these two fantastic women. Admittedly the fact we have them covered by benefits is huge... but they are always ready and willing to do our quotes for us to submit and come back when approved. Dawn is like a kindred Auntie and Kat is the cool kindred assistant/sister type. Midnight Magic was always more challenging for quotes and much more pricey, but Dawn and Kat know our fave lines and we no longer need to get more than just their quote as our health providers learned nowhere else is as reasonable for custom fit. ????

We when it at 4pm an hour before closing, my daughter took a long time picking what she wanted. Dawn and her amazing staff never once made us feel rush. Dawn even took the time to answer question I had about mastectomy bras for an aunt. Bras do cost more that a mall store but they are high quality. My daughter was worried about cost, however a bra is the foundation of everything you wear, you need to spend money on it. Getting a perfect fit is must. I hate hearing "just go up a cup size or brand size. " you never hear this at Dawns!

Service was great but I was improperly fit for a very expensive bra and I'm having nothing but issues. I went to another bra specialist and they showed me what size I should be wearing and the difference was remarkable. I'll be making my third trip back to dawn's bratique to have it fixed. So far not going well.

I went here to find high quality bras that would be supportive. The fitting and purchase experience was ok, but took a long time. I was told it would be 2 weeks to have alterations done, and it was more than 3 weeks. When I picked up my 2 bras they fit well and I was satisfied. Shortly after, I went out of province for the summer, and they eyes of the hooks started pulling out. I reinforced them by stitching them in. When I returned home, I tried to call the store but they were closed for 2 weeks. I eventually made contact with them and asked if I could send in a photo to show them what had happened. I was told I must bring the bras in. I live 45 min away and don't drive so it took me a few weeks to get the bras in. When I spoke to Dawn, she said she could fix it, but wanted me to pay to remove the stitches that I put in. I refused to pay additional because I already paid alot of money for the bras. It would only take a professional seamstress a couple of minutes to remove the stitches. I left the bras with Dawn and was told that it would be 2 weeks to complete the repair. The seamstress then put more stitches over the original stitches that had been put in. After one wear the eyes started to pull out again. I hadn't even washed it. I contacted Dawn again and she said I could bring them back in and she would have the seamstress fix it. I don't want to spend my time going back and forth to get this fixed. Dawn says that if it keeps happening then it's something I'm doing wrong. I'm not going to continue to go back and forth with no guarantee that it will get resolved.

The store and staff are lovely and doing their best to be accommodating, but in the end for me the fact remains that I have what I consider a very expensive ($175) bra that is not any more comfortable (if not more uncomfortable) than my other $50 ones. Dawn has altered the bra once and said if it is still uncomfortable they can continue to make changes - each trip there and fitting takes time and at some point it just doesn’t become worth it. I was disappointed I was not able to find something that is comfortable, supportive, works with most of my wardrobe, and makes me feel confident. The $175 would have been well worth it had that happened.

Had my first experience today and so far, so good. I've gained some weight over the past few years and wasn't sure what size I even was. I think I picked a slower day to come in so I had Dawn mostly to myself and she was awesome. Very patient and gave good suggestions. She was quick with finding me the right size and style. We found me one bra to go home with and the others she wanted to alter to make the perfect fit. Will update once those are received but as mentioned..so far, so good :)

After having Dawn unprofessionally storm out of the room on me today I won't be going back to Dawn's Bratique. I understand that you cannot return a bra after wearing it, but if that bra has a defect then they should replace the bra after a couple days if requested. I'm usually happy to pay more for the service but I guess I'll have buy them online for now, most bras are cheaper directly from Europe.

Service is good, friendly staff. A little out of the way for me but totally worth the 2.5 hour bus ride. I came in three weeks before my grad and I got a bra that fit and last minute alterations done. I don't like how you can't pick out your own bras, though. It'd be nice to be able to give the fitter an idea of what you want c: overall I'm very pleased and will be a returning customer!

I purchased a bra from here in September 2018. I came here under recommendations from several people. I bought the bra after being off work for almost two years with health issues. I didn’t have extra money to spend but I needed a good bra as I was having back and neck pain. Well, I have had nothing but problems with the bra. It sat too low so it was around my diaphragm which impeded my breathing. Because of this, my anxiety was worse if I had the bra done up, to the point that it was triggering panic attacks (breath holding panic disorder). I had to add an expanded to the strap so I could tolerate it but the straps would constantly fall off. I kept thinking the bra was fit by a professional so there must be something wrong with me. Finally, I decided to google fitting a bra and band sitting too low. Well, I discovered the cup size was too big. So today, I made the cup size smaller and tacked it in place with safety pins, shortened the straps a bit, and finally, I can where the bra without issue. No expander, no issues with my breathing or anxiety or panic attacks. I am upset about spending my money here. $120 for a bra I have to pin in place. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Plus, they gave me a choice of only a few bras. I thought they had hundreds. I’m just quite disappointed with this place.

Great one-on-one service with Dawn! Not your traditional lingerie store though. She brings an initial bra to check your fit, then asks questions and brings more stock to you to try on. She makes sure the straps and cups are right for you and they can tailor the pieces to make an even better fit! They kept the bras I liked but didn't buy on file for later too. Great care instructions were also provided. Love this personalized experience.

I relied on a bra for my wedding dress from Dawn's Bratique. They were phenomenal in helping me out with that. I am a plus sized woman and finding a strapless bra to offer the support and to be comfortable was a difficult task until I found Dawn's Bratique. They got in me right away for fittings, had prompt turn around times to have my bra altered, was super accommodating, etc. I could not say enough good things about this place. If you are thinking of getting the perfect support for your wedding dress or for anything else go with Dawn's Bratique. I had a great experience start to finish.

This place is amazing! I had never gotten a bra fitting before so I was pretty nervous going in. I made an appointment for a fitting (which you should definitely do) and was there as soon as they opened. Dawn was super nice and pit me in a room quickly. She asked me what I wanted in a bra and what I wanted to wear them with. After telling her she came back with a few different ones. She would give me three at a time and I would leave the door open when I had one on. She'd come in and adjust the straps and tell me something about how it fit and how they could change it in alterations. She showed me lots from different price points and a good mix of wired and nonwired. It was all very efficient and I narrowed down what I liked pretty quickly. Dawn was really professional and it helped me feel at ease. Once I bought them she gave me a free laundry bag for my first purchase, and explained all about how to care for them. I picked up the altered versions about 2 weeks later. I feel like theres a lot of reviews on here that say the wait times are all messy but its because sometimes they have to order from an outside company, and sometimes those companies down communicate. If you need bras immediately don't go to a place that does custom work! If its for an event you need to plan ahead. I can't say much about the quality of the alterations in terms longevity yet but they seem m well done and nothing is scratchy or anything. Overall I had a really good experience for a person that really hates having to wear bras.

Didn't have the best experience. I was in the dressing room for over an hour with a girl who could not find a bra that fit. Finally Dawn came in and found one for me. The only thing is it needed hemming. They said this would take around a week. 3 weeks later I had to call them to see whee my bra was. When I got there the bra was way to tight so I had to wait another 30 minutes for alterations. I went to princess bra boutique the same week. Was in there for 20 minutes and the bra they ordered me was in with in a week. I will continue going there.

Just left and had an aweful experience! I literally left in tears. As a women shopping for personal garments can be a frustrating experience on your own so I thought I would try Dawns bra-tuque. I entered the store and was put into a room. A girl walked in and did not really explain the process just asked what size I wear and that she would be back. She came back with a bra and said try it on and she would be back I tried to ask her a question but she was gone before I could. I tried the bra on but was unsure what to do, do I stand there in the bra put on the robe or put my shirt on? Anyways the girl came back and I tried telling her that I am a new mom and looking to update my bras. She then said I was a certain size, and left to get me some bras. She brought me back a bunch and I tried them on, going along with the process. She kept bringing me bras that my grandmother would wear. I am in my early 30s not 60s. I kept telling her what I did not like and wanted to try on some nice braws that would make me feel good as well as were functional. She did bring me one, and I was like okay I really like this but then she went back to the old styles? She was not listening to me. At one point I looked through some catalogues and asked if I could try on some of those, the girl then looked at me and said "you do know that these pictures are air brushed models and you will not look like this" I was embarrassed. After an hour I had lost the drive to try on anymore braws that made me feel terrible and said I was done. I then walked out to the front reception area and told the girl working that I did not have a good experience, she just looked at me and said "OK" and shrugged her shoulders. No, oh I'm sorry to hear that, can you tell me what happened? Nothing!!!! Terrible customer service!

I had a walk in for my first time here, not knowing they take appointments, but we didn't have to wait long to be helped. The lady is so good at her job she didn't even need to measure me she just asked me what the last size I wore was and looked at my chest then came back with something to try on. The very first bra she came back with fit perfectly and I ended up buying it. I was amazed at how good she is at picking sizes.

I have been coming to Dawn's for nearly 10 years now - after a 5-year hiatus while living abroad, I went again today. I was a bit apprehensive due to the negative comments posted here, but am extremely pleased to say that my experience lived up to those of the past - Dawn fitted me herself (I made an appointment and specifically requested her) and she was her usual cheery and efficient self. I was shown a large range of gorgeous bras based on my needs (an 'everyday' bra; one in a neutral colour, one in a dark colour), and was able to select five new for purchase. Coming to Dawn's has always been a highlight because a properly fitting bra makes me feel like a new person! I will definitely be back again.

Awful! Ruined my bridal underwear right before my wedding and left me with no other option. I wanted a specific corset. I tried one on and loved it. It was beige and I wanted white. They said I could order it and it would be THE EXACT SAME ONE-In WHITE Let me borrow the beige one for my bridal gown fitting. Because, you know, I was ordering the EXACT SAME ONE in a different color. My dress got altered to my “borrowed” corset while I waited for mine to come in. Well, when mine arrived.....it was NOT the same. At all! Different design completely. They did NOT even offer to order me the proper one. Just said “No, this IS what you asked for!” Yeah, it showed over the top of my strapless wedding dress. They told me they could “alter” the corset to make it work with my dress. Well, they altered it and it didn’t stick out over my dress. But now I had a corset that was missing have the cup. Looked awful. And dug into the side of my breast and gave me weird “double boob”. Not ONCE did anyone even try to make things better. Not ONCE did anyone try to apologize. This is not a company that cares about people. Only making money.

I've been going to Dawn's since at least 2002, but I wasn't too impressed the last time I was there. I bought a $150 bra that needed tailoring and was told it would take 2 weeks. 2.5 weeks later I called to find out what was going on with my bra and was told it would be another 2 weeks. If I had known it would take over a month, I wouldn't have bothered because their limited hours makes it difficult for me to get there. This was also the first time I had been to the new location. I saw lots of people walk in (myself included) and be confused. There's no one at the desk and nothing to say "please wait" or "currently no walk ins". I waited 15 minutes to be told to come back 3 hours later. Plus the girl working the desk is short and curt with customers and made me feel unwelcome. Dawn, of course, was incredible as always. She fitted me with a few bras, gave me a lot of choices within a fair price range. But I will really have to consider if it's worth the effort to return anytime soon.

I have been going to Dawn's Bra-tique since 2002. I have never been able to get the quality and fit anywhere else including other specialty lingerie stores. It's amazing. They do an an exceptional job with fitting. The price point is higher than mall lingeries stores or plus size clothing stores that sell bras but the quality is phenomenal. The experience is different than a typical store, you can't browse - but I appreciate having what I need and want brought right to me. It's frustrating when I see things I can't have because they don't have my size! Just ask if you're not happy with something. One thing I wish they would do is modernize a bit i.e. get a social media presence, have a database and scan machines rather than their index card, hand writing thing. BUT it works for them, so I can hardly criticize that, it's just on my wish list and I wish everyone knows how good it is.
