Be careful with this place. The shopping experience was good but they just cancelled my account in good standing. Even if they feel that I have other issues with my credit, I have NEVER been late or missed a payment with this place. Not impressed with their business practices.

I have been to this store twice since moving here and both times I have waited at least 10 minutes or more to check out at the Clinique counter because sadly a lack of employees. I walked around in the men's department needing to ask fir help to find an item and never saw an employee so, I left. I will try Dillard's.

I had always assumed Belks was more for older women and was pleasantly surprised when finally visiting to see they have a large selection for both younger women and even juniors. They often have great deals and clearance sections and always have a beautiful selection of handbags and shoes!

Even though the selection varies greatly, I can always find a few really nice pieces of clothing at a fantastic price. The folks who work there are incredibly nice and they seem to want to give away Belks money as they always have a special coupon or deal whenever I shop. The key is to go often and buy a few things each time.

With Covid-19 in place, I placed an order online and had to return one and hence went to the store. The store read crowded as usual. All people I saw were wearing a mask. I sought help from the online pickup stall guy and got to know that there was a separate counter for returns. It was a very quick trip without much purpose

Posting for my mother: Belk always sends great coupons and my mom is a coupon user! Literally, every time she tries to use a coupon, "the item is not applicable". She has complained to me about this for so long now. So, today pushed her over the top. She was debating on an item that was on sale, but overheard a clerk telling a customer that it's "Senior Day" and it provides an extra 20% off storewide. So, my mom decided to purchase the product. At checkout, she's told, "yes, it's Sr. Day but this item is not applicable because it's a 'bonus buy'". Bonus Buy? What is that, even?! Once again, she's told that the item, "is not applicable". I think that was the tipping point; she's going back to JC Penny. They're not closing in her town!

Love Belk, but the poor customer service at this location has given me no choice but to start shopping elsewhere. You should not be put on hold for over 10 minutes to have a simple question answered by a store associate, and that is, if you can even get someone to answer the phone.

One employee was available to help at checkout. There were 6 waiting in line. A voice over the intercom encouraged trying on clothes at select Fitting Rooms, but, no staff was anywhere to be found to tell customers where that fitting room was. Very disappointed with Belk this morning.
