Dear: Cambrian College. Thank you for taking my hard earned money under false pretense. Your sneaky "pre-trades", and the fact that you did not inform me of enrolled in it was criminal. I jumped through all of your hoops, worked 2 jobs to avoid debt, and followed every rule and policy you put before me. I am truly hurt that when you get right down to it, all you wanted was my money and deceitfully misled me into course that offers nothing towards an apperentship or some transferable course. When your staff assured my that I had fulfilled all the nesscary pre-requisites, it was a lie to get what your real purpose for existing is...MONEY. I could rant all day about how I did nothing wrong, how I'm a mature student with the desire to really work hard, how I gave up my jobs and family, and how I had payed non refundable fees and rent, food, laptop etc. (Totally over a thousand dollars) But it will do nothing. Your policies of admission are meaningless. I met them all and I still got screwed! All you care about is MONEY. GET BENT! P.s. I'm sure the programs they deliver are very good, but communication to parking is a mess. Students are often left out to dry because staff won't even help.

I didn't really enjoy my experience here. Had problems with a few teachers, and one of the programs I was taking the teacher was still working for a company outside of teaching, so he just taught through slideshows (guess who?). A lot of staff are helpful but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, especially since you pay so much for tuition.

This college is basically minting money from international students and not provide them with the education they are charging the money for. This college has very inexperienced professors who themselves are not clear on there concepts. They teach you (for eg) what is 1+1 and then ask for what rocket science in exams. International student are recommended to save their money and time and not apply to this college.

I didn't attend Cambrian but am trying to get a hold of someone on a program and NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE. the operator picks up but after that nothing LOL.

Cambrian was always great. I didn't hate doing my schooling here. I would highly recommend going here for you education experience. Side note. Bring a lock to the gym, had my wallet stolen once.

Disorganized, good luck getting ahold of any one or try to find the right person to get ahold of, call one person email another, takes a week to get an email back then saying you need to get a hold of this person. By the time its all said and done its been 2.5 weeks and the dead line is up.

I love the faculty here. I went to Cambrian for college. They’ve the best faculty. Apart for cold winters, Sudbury is the best place to live in. Entire city is calm and peaceful away from hectic city life. I miss the ambiance there.

They’re fraud 1.i applied for my visa im in India 2. It’s clearly written in their college policy student will get full refund if they get 2 refusals my brother got two refusals for same college. 3. I paid $ 16,230 and they refunded me $13,000 .I’m attaching the pictures too whatever I got. 4. Nobody is responding to the emails we been trying to contact them for last 3 months. Nobody is picking up calls. 5. It’s written we might deduct $500 if you get refusals as admin fee okay suppose if you deducted $1000 where’s rest of my money. They’re giving me mental stress. It was really hard for me to pay money and they’re really rude and all the refund department saying we don’t know anything.

Its terrible. Never buy your books here, you're better buying them off of someplace else. I paid for all 6 of my books and I didn't get one of them. they made me pay for it and didn't give a refund. Instead they blamed it on me and said I took all 6 of the books. Don't we pay enough already? We are just students.

The college has not responded even till now to the application i made in January 2020 for project management Spring intake (May intake). I sent an email around November 2020 requesting them act on the application ASAP so i can apply to other programs or colleges, i am yet to get a response to that email and it is already 22 January 2021.

The service is real bad , as an international student i really have BAD BAD BAD experience. Its been now 3 months( applied on Jan) since i have applied for my refund as my visa got rejuctedbut the faculities are irresponsive (nearly 15 mails and 10 calls has been ignored ), giving silly excusing and keep on extending my refund. My GCC refund didnt take 4 weeks for the refundin. And also in the website its clearly mention the refun time is 6-8 weeks but i have got reply saying it will tale 8-10 weeks.

Honestly, how do I go about this? The school is a mixed bag, and completely dependent on the program your taking. However, almost all teacher faculty I've experienced are willing to engage with their students, help them and even help with out of school issues aswell. My own personal negative feedback would be to some of the faculty and rules applied to the college. Hear-say is often seen as fact and can land a student deep in punishment for false claims, sometimes the staff(not teachers) ignore phone calls/email requests. Honestly, this school as a school is mediocre, but once you get to know your teaching staff and they are willing to know you? It becomes a wonderful time, meeting friends, experiencing life outside of high school and embarking on a journey to a career in the future.
