So unfortunately I had a rather negative experience overall with these guys, which I was surprised about given that I heard of them from a friend and happy customer.
I purchased a 3 shirt package deal from Groupon (was approx. 129$, good deal). I went in for the measuring only to find that to get anything beyond a few basic fabrics I had to upgrade to the "premium" for about $15-25/shirt. The fabrics were nice so I was fine with spending another $70-ish to get some interesting patterns and nicer texture fabric. I do wish however that they would lay this out a bit more clearly in the fine-print though.
The real issue came when the shirts arrived 6 weeks later. I went in to try them on and pick them up, only to find that the end product was a real disaster. While trying them on I couldn't even get the sleeves up my arm as they were about 3" to narrow... Needless to say I was annoyed. This was only compounded by the salesmans attitude which could be described as "no ____'s given" about the failure.
I have worked in customer service before, and had I completely missed the ball this hard I would be at least somewhat apologetic towards the customer, however this was not the case. When I asked what could be done about this, I was informed that it would be at least another 6 weeks as they had to ship the shirts back to China, have them altered, and then ship them back. Lacking any better solution I agreed to this.
Fast forward another 6 weeks (I ordered these in February, and I picked them up in June) I get the email to come in and try them on again. I once again venture downtown to try the 3 shirts on. Second time around the arms are of a more appropriate width... but have somehow gained about 2 inches length, which made them quite baggy and silly looking given that the torso was 'slim-fit'. Not wanting to wait another 6 weeks for round 3 of these shenanigans I take the shirts and am on my merry way.
Currently they are at a tailor having the sleeves taken up to remove the excess length. Unfortunately this cost me $50 for all three, which puts the actual cost of these shirts around $275.
Overall I was quite disappointed with the whole ordeal since it cost about twice what I had planned on spending on it, and because it took 4 months to find out that I would still have to take these "bespoke" shirts for significant additional tailoring...
I have 3x bespoke suits (I'm a bodybuilder-type, so off the rack isn't happening) from a different company, and I must say the service is comparably much better.
Cannot say I plan on buying from Peter Parvez again.
