The first time we went to Rudina is when my husband bought a new suit from Saks and he needed the sleeves shorten and pants hemmed before a business trip to Europe (preCovid). Other places would not guarantee the work done in 2 days and charged more money. Rudina helped my husband alter his suit and the workmanship was excellent. To date, we have returned 4 times to see Rudina, she has hemmed my son’s baseball and school uniform pants, shorten my husband’s shorts and slimmed a few of his dress pants. Rudina is professional and very attentive to details. We are lucky to find her in Oakville! It’s like knowing a great mechanic, you will always go back because you know you can trust them.

I had to purchase my wedding suit online since the COVID Stay at Home order was in effect and my shopping appointment was canceled. My wedding suit pants needed a lot of adjustment when they arrived. I called Rudina and she made herself available right away. I went in, she very quickly got my pants pinned to the perfect size. She was such a professional and kind person. I went in a week later to pick up my dress pants and they are PERFECT, she brought in the sides and shortened them. Will definitely be coming back and recommending her to family and friends.

I have gotten multiple suits and clothing items altered by Rudina. From arm shortening to pant tapering to hole and rip repair, you name it and she has done it for me. She is great to work with and knowledgeable in her craft. I find I am often in-between off the shelf sizes, and Rudina does a great job altering my clothing just the way I like. She is clear and communicative, if she can't get to the phone she is prompt to get back to me (within 10-20 min). Most recently I brought her my favourite pair of sweats that to my knowledge had only 2 small holes in them. I pointed them out to her when I went to drop of the sweats. She meticulous looked them over in front of me and noticed 3 additional smaller holes that needed repair. Her attention to detail is A++! She provided me with a more than fair quote too! Rudina is an absolute artist. Words do not do her justice. She is an amazing tailor and person. I bought a dress online which when I tried it on, was 3 sizes bigger. I had no more time to exchange it as I was going to a wedding abroad. Rudina managed to fit it to my shape as if she made it from scratch. I purchased a Guess Jacket (fabric ) on line. Not knowing it came with snap buttons. So now I was in search for someone to make whole to my jacket and add buttons. Love the jacket too much to return it and took me all day googling searching and getting recommendations for places that Alter close and dry clean. Called many places and went to couple and they did not provide that service or said they didn't have machine to make whole. Next day I came across Rudina amongst other additional placed I had reached out . She was fast to response and was available that day. I met her she is professional, had buttons available saved my from shopping. I picked my jacket up next day and absolutely love the clean job she did. It is a thick fabric and she did a wonderful job. So happy that I can enjoy my jacket while its still cold. Highly recommended, very reasonable price for manual work, pleasant and super friendly. Even offered coffee :). Thank you so much for coming through. I am a very VERY happy customer.

The tailoring job is decent, but unfortunately, Rudina is not very professional and her language barrier creates communication challenges. She was better in the past when her business was new, but as her tailoring business has grown, working with her has become more difficult as she is more demanding, less flexible, and less accommodating. I'm also not sold on all the 5-star reviews, which appear to be from entirely new reviewers, and I'm not convinced they're legitimate.

Extremely disappointed to say the least. The usual lady I use for clothes alteration was away so I tried this lady as she was nearby. I called and told her I needed a small blouse to have minor adjustments and my husband’s suit trousers to be adjusted. I asked that I needed this done in three days. She was initially very accepting and I made an appointment ti see her in six hours time. 20 mins before my appointment she called me and cancelled saying “ call me tomorrow to rearrange” which we did. Three days later I go to collect my clothes. The monitor adjustment was done to my top but she charged me a whopping $40.00. She had not even touched my husbands trousers saying she couldn’t do them. It’s unfortunate that she has lost a potential customer who lives nearby. I felt she took advantage of me by charging an extortionate price. Because she felt “ she had no time” to do my husbands trousers despite having three days and giving me false hope I found her unreliable. I could have easily gone to someone else who would have been upfront with me about timing and whether she could do the job or not. Please do your self a favour by using someone who is reliable and knows what they are doing.

Great experience, I took a linen jumpsuit and a wool peacoat to Rudina and the result was exactly what I was hoping for. She even replicated the ruching detail on the shoulders of the jumpsuit sleeves after downsizing them. Rudina is highly communicative and was understanding when I couldn't make my morning appointment for personal reasons. Would definitely recommend to others!

Found my tailor for life! Rudina is incredible. She altered both of my wedding dresses and the quality of work is impeccable. I bought my shorter, informal reception dress a size too large (because it was all they had) knowing that Rudina would be able to make it fit perfectly.
