Super unimpressed. We were recommended this tailoring shop by Hugo boss. I will be phoning them to tell them to stop. The tailor did not know how to put on suspender buttons, they are way too far apart and look ridiculous. When we said that he proceeded to argue with us. He also shortened the pants too much, didn't press the bottom where he hemmed and left chalk on them. Update: I ended having to take to another tailor to redo the entire thing including the waist being taken in. Also the tailor did not offer to redo the suspender buttons as he says he did. Hugo boss will no longer recommend

I had an amazing experience at Mendit! I got my bridesmaid dress altered and it now fits me perfectly. I was in a bit of a rush to get it done before the wedding, and it was done on time and was reasonably priced as well. I cannot recommend this place more!

I came here to get my bridesmaid dress altered. He measured to hem at the bottom and the straps at the top. I came in August 19 at noon. I told him I needed it by August 28 as the wedding is the 29th. He even said I could call the Thursday before at 4pm and see if it would be ready because he said it could. My ticket that he printed even said ready by Friday 28. I come in Friday morning and he says "Oh yea, it'll be ready Monday." I said "No, it needs to be ready today because the wedding is tomorrow..." So he tried calling all his contacts to see if people could help and no one could. So I was really frustrated. Then he told me he was away for 2 days and so was the seamstress. I was so fed up, and it didn't seem like he cared. So, I found a lady in Burlington who does alterations from her home and she helped me and she was so lovely and she charged me less than Meena. This business is called Zara's Alterations. I came over so flustered and she calmed me down and she was so good, she got my dress done within 4 hours!

Came by Saturday morning. The time online is incorrect. The place opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. This should be updated online. I got here around 9:50, waited until 10:05 and it was not open. Time should be updated. Thank you.

Love the staff and they do great job. The place I was getting my clothes altered before treats customers with lack of care. They also make too many ERRORS. But, Mendit Clothing Alterations are Error-Free. The only reason I am giving the 4 stars is because they asked me to return for a Second Fitting for my Evening Gown. At the end, it was perfectly done.

Very Happy with Mendit Alterations. I was in a rush to attend a function this weekend, before I came here, Stitch it told me that they cannot meet my deadline and the price was almost double as well. I searched online and found Mendit Alterations. I got my Formal suit and pant back in 2 days. Professionally tailored and I was ready to go. I will full recommend them. Not too expensive and flexible with pickup times. Love it. #VeryHappy.

Awful experience with Mendit Clothing Alterations. I'll give 2 stars, but I believe that's being very generous, as my only good part of the experience was that I had somewhat polite customer service. My experience began on Friday February 22nd, 2019. I had gone into the shop to get a suit tailored for the following week, it was a simple pants and jacket shortening that they said would be no problem. I needed the suit for March 2nd, day that I needed the suit, and they told me I could get it by Thursday February 28th. 6 days sounds completely reasonable for both parties and I pay ahead of time. Perfect, that gives me a day to get it dry cleaned as well, and I would have it ready for March 2nd. They tell me I can pick it up at 5:30 pm February 28th, great, this load is off my shoulder. Fast forward to the day I'm supposed to pick it up. Unfortunately, I'm running late from work so I had to call ahead and mention to them that I will be late to pick up, and just want to make sure they'll be open. I call, and I'm told that I won't be getting my suit ... What do you mean, I'm bewildered that I'm not getting it. They told me that due to unforseen circumstances, they won't be able to alter my suit. I understand that there are often times where things are out of my hands. However, what makes me absolutely livid, is that the employee told me that they found out on Wednesday, the DAY BEFORE I was supposed to pick it up, and the only reason I found out was because I happened to call by chance. So not only did they NOT alter my suit, they also refused to give me notice as soon as they found out leaving me high and dry, 2 days before I needed the suit. Very fortunate to me, thanks to an incredible other alteration store nearby, they were able to do same day alterations for me, and I was able to avoid SERIOUS headaches that Mendit has caused me. I will vehemently avoid Mendit Alterations, and I encourage others to do so as well. I initially went with this company because they had amazing reviews online, however with my experience and the way I was treated, I cannot recommend this place at all.
