I got my wedding dress here. I had an excellent experience. The David’s bridal staff made me truly feel like a princess. The customer service was excellent and I truly felt like they heard me and went above and beyond to cater to my needs as a bride. Thank you so much for helping to make buying my wedding dress an experience to remember. Thanks to manager Kate for making sure I got the ultimate experience and going above and beyond to ensure I got exactly what I needed. I will be reccomending David’s bridal Hamilton to all of my friends who are getting married in the future!

*UPDATE* I returned on Saturday and despite the place being absolutely packed to the brim, all staff - and Tiffany, my consultant once more! yay! - were attentive, patient, and generous with their time as they shuffled between each bride. I found my perfect dress and my perfect set of shoes, and after rush alterations (a hem), received my dress today (Tuesday) and it's even better than it was before. It's perfect. The experience was phenomenal. I'm so happy I returned there and found my dream dress with the best consultant EVER. ---- An absolutely wonderful experience with Tiffany who listened to my needs, didn't try to push me in a direction I wasn't comfortable in, made me feel important and beautiful, and was patient with my lack of experience and discomfort in the idea of wedding dress shopping in general. I went to the other David's in Mississauga and it was a nightmare. This location was a dream. EVERYONE in the shop is beautiful, inside and out.

I have never been more impressed with the service at any bridal store more than the David's Bridal in Hamilton! Prior to finding out that I was pregnant, my cousin had ordered a bridesmaid dress for me from David's Bridal at another location. I did not think that I would be able to exchange the dress because it was purchased over 5 months earlier, but tried calling this location several days ago (which is closest to my home) anyways. Anastasia answered the phone and was extremely friendly and understanding regarding my circumstances. She spoke to her manager, Kate, and advised me that they would be more than happy to assist me with finding an alternative if I were to bring in the dress. Today, I came in and the manager, Cristina, spent almost 2 hours assisting me in selecting gowns that would be comfortable at the wedding when I will be in my 38th week of pregnancy. Cristina was the epitome of patience and was very knowledgeable regarding her products and sizing. Unfortunately, the dress we both loved and agreed upon would not arrive until possibly 2 weeks after the wedding in May. Cristina then offered to help me find other options and to revisit my other top contenders that I had tried on. While Cristina was pulled away for some managerial duties, I was also kindly offered assistance by Laura, who also called out the seamstress, Mary, to offer me advice on what type of alterations would be required, should I chose certain dresses due to my unpredictable size in 4 months and the fact that I would have to order several sizes up in anticipation of my body changes. Another associate, Taylor, then came over with another pile of dresses for me to try on. I informed her that one of the dresses she selected were one of my favourites, but that the newer inventory may not arrive in time for the wedding, as I was informed. She went to check anyways, and returned with the wonderful news that it would come in 3 weeks before the wedding. I tried on the dress and it was perfect! Taylor performed my exchange and was as happy as I was that I had found a dress that we both liked. She was just as enthusiastic as one of my girlfriends would have been if I had brought one along. Anastasia, who spoke with me on the phone initially, happened to be in by that time and assisted Taylor at the register because it was her third day on the job. Anastasia even remembered our conversation and my bride's account from our conversation days ago. I was so happy and grateful walking out of that store, to have received such sincere and impeccable service from an entire staff team. I have only written one or two Google reviews in the past, and it was to complain about poor service that I received elsewhere. But today, I felt compelled to write a very positive review because the entire staff at this store were so kind to me and never wavered with their helpfulness even though I took up 3 hours of their time. They will be getting a lot more customers in the future, as many of my cousins are approaching the age for marriage.

I was very apprehensive about the day I’d “have” to find a gown for my wedding. I had a baby four and a half months ago and still am carrying quite a bit of pregnancy weight. Feeling low and “ugly”, I entered David’s Bridal with little to no hope of finding anything. I was greeted immediately by Tiffany, who started pulling gowns right away. She told me it was her job to make me feel gorgeous and she wasn’t going to stop until she succeeded. Well, she was right. She made my experience a wonderful one. I didn’t feel ugly during my entire time there. Not only did I find “my dress”, I walked out feeling beautiful. Thank you so much Tiffany!! I HIGHLY suggest going to David’s Bridal for your wedding dress needs! Prices were great too!

The store manager Kate is a blessing. I initially had a terrible experience with a pair of shoes they were refusing to exchange due to a misplaced receipt on my behalf. I was previously given a few reasons from different managers as to why they couldn't return them before the policy reason was brought up. Kate went far beyond expectations to help me and make the situation right. I wish I would have spoken to her first, she genuinely seems to care about the brides she encounters and the service her store delivers. She is exceptional, thank you again for everything.

I visited two David’s Bridal locations. Mississauga as a walk-in and Hamilton with an online appointment. Both experiences were incredible, non-threatening, and productive. Although the stores are big and beautiful, they are not intimidating and all staff were extremely helpful and kind to brides planning any size of a wedding. On my first visit I found a dress. On my second visit I found THE dress. Painless and super fun. The bell ceremony was an unexpected added touch that really resonated the care of the David’s Bridal team. Rachel and Cristina are absolutely amazing! I'm so speechless with how attentive and caring they were. They went above and beyond for me to get a dress I would never get on time and that fit me sooo well. They made sure that I got a dress that put the biggest smile on my face (I think they saw it through my mask). I cried when I thought it was impossible for me to get a dress that fit me and made me look so gorgeous, but they weren't going to let me leave the store sad and made it possible to get the dress. Cristina and Rachel, thank you so much! I can see how amazing you are at your jobs and your employers are sooooo lucky to have such amazing employees who love what they do. Please give them a raise.

Thank you to Emily at David’s bridal in Hamilton! She was absolutely amazing and made a memorable experience for my mom and I. I originally had a appointment that was being cancelled due to the THIRD lockdown/stay at home order, but the ladies at David’s bridal managed to squeeze me in the night before which was amazing and last minute! I described to Emily what I was looking for and showed her a few pictures and we were off. I picked a gown, she brought one based on my description and my mom picked one she thought I would like. Emily was great at assisting me in the dresses and had accessories at the tips of her fingers, ready to polish off my look and bring out the vision. She had answers to all my questions and I purchased my dress at the end of my appointment, no hesitation! I found my perfect dress trying on the third one (thanks mom!).

Although there is a pandemic going on, the ladies at David’s Bridal - Hamilton didn’t let that stop them from making today special. We had to wear masks during the whole process, and only my mom could help me with the dress, but Emily was still there the whole time to help. She gave advice, and was empathetic to my current situation. The girls still had a little celebration when I found my dress, and did their best to help me get through this overwhelming time. 10/10 ????????????????

I visited David's Bridal in November to purchase my wedding dress and for my bridesmaids to purchase their dresses. Our experience at David's Bridal was one we will never forget. We were all so impressed by the welcoming atmosphere of the store, the efficiency of the staff, the selection/quality/prices of the dresses, and the quick amount of time it took to receive our dresses! The reason I've taken so long to write a review is because I misplaced the card with the lady's name on it that helped us and wanted to wait until I found it so that I can name her in my review, but I haven't found it yet. She was absolutely amazing and I hope the store can trace who helped me out because she deserves the credit! David's Bridal was the third dress store we visited, and the best one. The staff really made the day special, and I even found my dress all in that one afternoon. We received all of our dresses and my veil within 2 months of ordering when we were initially told it could take 4 months! Completely impressed with David's Bridal and would highly recommend for any fancy occasion!

Very disappointing that 6 (3 sets of 2) customers all showed before 10:30 and while you weren't unlocking the door for any, you were leaning on the counter, in our view talking and ignoring us. Maybe put a sign apologizing that you can't open the door instead of coming across rude and uncaring? Aside from that, once inside your prices were very affordable compared to Best for Bride. Nadia was nice however having myself and another customer to tend to simultaneously did not make me feel very special. I understand you are a business however people are your business just as much as your dresses. I'm very happy with the dress, just didn't feel like it was the special occasion you could have helped make it. Thank you.

I've been to this location plenty of times for special occasion dresses, graduation and bridesmaids shopping and it's always been average for me... until today. My visit was absolutely wonderful as Emily N took the best care of my bestfriend and I. As a plus size woman it's never easy finding what you need in these kinds of settings stores, although Emily made it fun and a breeze. She listened to what we were looking for, brought what we wanted and even gave us acouple of suggestion dresses and we ended up going with one of her recommendation gowns. Informative and she felt more like a long time friend rather than a consultant. Very friendly and the atmosphere was so airy all while being "Covid friendly". I hope if I ever return Emily is working or even someone up to her standards is anyways.

I cannot believe the amount of care and attention I received from Tiffany at David’s Bridal! I was nervous going in not knowing what to expect and I was taken care of and felt like I was listened to and respected. I didn’t feel like they were pushy and Tiffany brought dresses on and made me feel very at ease! The staff are wonderful and the dresses are stunning! You really feel like a princess! Tiffany was amazing and felt part of my family as she quickly got to know me and helped me find my dress! I’m so happy! I ordered it and now wait to receive it in July. I cannot wait! Prices were very reasonable. They carry a variety of sizes in every dress. Decent selection and organized by designer. Very busy because they had a sale on. One attendant for two brides meant that I had to wait a few minutes on a couple of occasions. It was Saturday so I was expecting that. Friendly and helpful staff. Found my dress for $300 for destination wedding. Coming in a couple of months, well in time for my wedding in the fall. Had an instant fitting for another dress that I purchased for $87 dollars so I could have it in a week. That cost another $225 for alterations. Did not have to take my shoes off to look through the dresses. One thing I thought was gimmicky. Brides held up an "I found one" for a picture OP and they rang a bell. Some may enjoy that though, especially if it took a while. Overall great experience.

I had a budget for both dresses and stayed within it. I was not pressured to look at or purchase a dress that was outside of my budget. When we went in to look for bridesmaid dresses the girls at the Hamilton location were extremely helpful. They made the entire experience fun—even when we were paying. Annasthesia was our stylist and she laughed joked around with us all while remaining professional and giving us feedback. Her support team at the front of the store were also very personable. We had a bunch of questions about everything and the girls were so willing to listen and give us feedback. I think the other girls names were Christina and Jess. I will definitely will go back to David’s Bridal in Hamilton if I ever need a dress again. I will also recommend this place to anyone I know looking for dresses. Hands down the best experience ever! Amazing experience today at David’s on Wentworth! Emily N was incredible. She found me the exact dress I wanted without me even knowing it’s what I wanted. The store is taking health and safety seriously - which I really appreciated. I’d really recommend this store to brides who want the full bridal experience and treatment for a fraction of the price. My situation was a bit nutty as I had misplaced my bridesmaid dress for a wedding just next month! *gasp* (how you ask? packing will do it... yikes) Anyway, I had ordered that one online because I simply cannot stand shopping and trying dresses on. But, when I misplaced it I had no other choice but to go in! And lucky me because Maddie really helped make me feel confident and secure! I felt comfortable sharing my concerns right away and she was ready to help me, in honest ways! I appreciated her readiness to search the back, other stores, and bring me styles in other colours to try that she thought I’d be comfortable in. I went to David's Bridal in Hamilton to do some preliminary shopping for bridesmaids dresses. I was specifically interested in looking at the Vera Wang dresses. They have a great selection with tons of different dresses. I went with one of my bridesmaids to try and narrow down colours and styles that I like. Our consultant was really nice but she had way too many appointments on the go. She was scheduled with at least 2-4 other groups along with my group at any given time so we didn't even see her for a quarter of the appointment. She was unable to help us pull any dresses and I ended up having to go back and forth to get different ones. Completely not her fault though its the fault of whoever did the scheduling. Because she had so many people to deal with she wasn't able to offer many suggestions or help with anything beyond taking dresses away that we didn't want every once and a while. She did try her best though so kuddos to her. I can appreciate that sometimes a store gets busy but when I scheduled an appointment I was under the impression I would have a dedicated consultant to help just me not multiple other people at the same time.

My first ever bridal gown shopping experience was at David’s Bridal. From the moment I stepped into the store my sister, mom and I felt SO welcomed! Grace took me through my experience and let me tell you she was absolutely amazing! She made me feel extra excited starting to look for my dream dress. I didn’t know what I wanted and Grace took the time to listen to what I could see myself in and helped me along the way with incredible knowledge of wedding gowns and the importance of trying on different styles and made it SO much fun! Truly she made me feel so confident and comfortable throughout the entire experience! Not only me but my sister and mom as well. I bought my dress from the Mississauga location, but had my alternations done in Hamilton, simply because it was allowed to open during pandemic before the Mississauga location could open. My appointment was with Juliette and it was the first one in the morning. I'm so glad my appointment was first because Juliette was very relaxed and patient, to the point that it made me feel bad going past my time slot. It wouldn't be surprised if you had to wait to see her for your appointment but Juliette is worth the wait!!!! She's remarkably talented and friendly. Her work was outstanding and I got so many compliments on my dress. She added straps, hemmed the dress and added something to hide some of the cleavage. It was pricey (almost $500) but I didn't want to stress about getting alterations done elsewhere. I'm glad I did it this way - because it was perfect. Thank you Juliette!

David's Bridal has managed to deliver the wrong dress to one of my bridesmaids while also delivering another bridesmaids dress to the wrong address after multiple confirmations of the delivery address and date (The delivery date of the dress changed MULTIPLE times without any of us being informed). For what is offered there you can have a better, more organized experience while getting the same quality dress SOMEWHERE ELSE. I am extremely grateful I did NOT get my wedding dress from David's Bridal. What a nightmare this has been.

I came here to purchase my wedding dress for my October 2021 wedding. A few things: - They have a GREAT selection of dresses under $1000, which, thankfully, fit in my budget and I was able to find the dress of my dreams here - They only book you in for a 1-hour session by default, which is not much time to find your wedding gown. You only have the sales person for that 1 hour, so if you want more time than that, you would need to re-book or ask for more time upfront - They try to up-sell you, A LOT. Once I said yes to my wedding dress, the sales person IMMEDIATELY started trying to sell me wedding shoes and veils. However, even their clearance shoes and veils are pretty expensive - you can find better deals online (like, WAY better) - Their alteration prices are ridiculously expensive. For two wedding gowns (one a white wedding dress, the other an Indian lehenga), they quoted me $1100!!! Their alteration fee was literally the same price as the cost of the gowns lol. The seamstress quoted me $220 JUST to shorten the length of my dress. I paid it at the time, because I didn't realize how ridiculous the price was, but then came back a few hours later asking for a refund (which, thankfully, they gave me). I got my two dresses altered for $350 at another place (and it was done PERFECTLY).

The staff was very friendly and very helpful in making Holly less stressful. Katlyn knew exactly what to say to about the different wedding dresses. Also the prices very reasonable and the dresses were very nice. She helped my daughter make it easier to decide on her opinion about the dress. I would tell everybody to go and visit and check out the prices and the different styles the have to offer.

The woman at the desk greeting people was the only person I spoke with(both visits). She was very friendly and personable. I purchased my dress at another David's bridal location so my interactions were limited. The facility was clean, all employees had masks and hand sanitizer was available. The alteration department ,cleans between clients, was very efficient and completed the alterations in the time frame they gave me. I would reccomend this store.

We had a fantastic experience at the David’s Bridal in Hamilton. Our consultant/stylist Maddie (sp?) was incredible! She was attentive, helpful, grabbed all the right dresses in the correct sizes for us, and offered to clip dresses so they fit appropriately. She also suggested another dress for us that we hadn’t considered, based on the features the bridal party liked. This was by far the best experience I have had at a David’s Bridal (out of many). Props to Maddie! She also gave a great recommendation about a local Mexican restaurant :)

I visited David’s today first time in the store. I needed 5 girls and myself to be helped. They didn’t update the website when I booked the apointment but they reached out to me to schedule 2 back to back appointments to accomodate us. They take a half hr between appointments to clean and sanitize but the consultant we had for the 2nd half took us early which made a great impression. She was however trying to do front store and assist my afternoon bridesmaids but she saw to it we got our full appointment time and extended it a little because she wasn’t readily available to us to help. We asked her to swap out in tried on gowns and she was more than happy as they didn’t account for the 5 per person gown limit. We had a nice variety and she was very helpful when she could be with us assisting. All my bridesmaids and mother of the bride left happy and with their dresses on order. The selection was good but it did come down to using imagination with some styles as purple was not readily available in some styles but we got the idea and it was a relaxed atmosphere which we all felt at easy.

My consultant Shae was phenomenal! She was personable and professional! I had an amazing time choosing my dress with her! She even made sure my crew felt important by including them a part of the dress experience! Shae was also able to listen to my needs and deliver my wants at the same time! She helped me choose my dream dress within budget!! I am on a tight deadline so it was crucial for me to find a dress on one shop but she was able to nail down exactly what I had invisioned! What a COVID wedding saviour! I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding in 3-weeks, and just recently found out I can attend with restrictions lifting. Karisa at David’s Bridal took me through every off-the-rack dress they had in my needed colour and helped me try them on. I had a dress and matching earrings by the end of the session! Definitely a one-stop-shop with staff that go above and beyond.

I went in with my dress to be altered since it no longer fit me. I had bought the dress from David’s Bridal Hamilton in November of 2019 for a 2020 wedding that got pushed back multiple times because of COVID. When I went in I had no hopes of any alterations being done to make it fit but thought I’d go in and see anyway. The 2 seamstresses were absolutely amazing and accommodating. They not only got it to fit me perfectly on RUSH, but it looked even better than it did when I first bought the dress. They were so nice and bared no judgment (as I was still sensitive from not fitting in my dress anymore). I am beyond happy!! Always had great service at this Hamilton location.

I've been to David's bridal for a few visits now from getting my wedding dress to the bridesmaids dresses to alterations. Every time has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The alterations done on my wedding dress are perfect!

I had to go to David’s bridal to purchase a bridesmaid dress and overall I’m pretty satisfied with how everything went. The dress I ordered needed alterations and they were done very well. They were expensive, about the same cost as the dress, but I felt that especially during Covid it was just easier to do everything all at one place. My one little complaint is how long it took to check out at the register after buying the dress/paying for the alterations. Each time I was there for about 10 minutes and I’m not sure why it took so long. I also appreciate how flexible they were with making appointments since I did have to change my dates a couple times.

When I first walked in it was great. They sales lady helped me pick a whole bunch of dresses. But after I went into the dressing room she was no where to be found. The manager came to see how I was doing and didn't even know I already chose my dress by myself. I definitely expected better customer service. But I'm glad I was able to find my dress.

Maddie was so helpful and so patient with us today, she made our visit the best experience ever cause it’s very hard to convince my 8 year old daughter to wear a dress but with Maddie’s help, we made it and my daughter tried many dresses and even shoes, we ended up with a very nice dress and can’t wait to see my daughter wearing it in my sister’s wedding, also my other daughter bought a dress a week before and we are so excited to see her wearing it as well. I went in tonight thinking I wanted a ball gown style wedding dress. I tried a couple on, and I wasn’t entirely sold on it. I had an amazing consultant help me, Sarah M, and I’m so happy I had her. She brought me out of my shell! She made me feel confident, and beautiful! I said YES to my dress tonight, and I couldn’t be happier! I was able to to have my yes moment! I am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and we have had a wonderful experience at this David’s Bridal location. Natasha, the sales associate who helped us, was fantastic and so accommodating. The wedding is in a few short months and they were able to rush the shipping so that we will have the dresses in plenty of time to do any alterations. I was also unsure if I was pregnant when ordering and they allowed me to call in two days after our appointment to change the size of the dress. I would definitely recommend this location!

We first wandered into David's bridal without an appointment as it was our first time looking, we didn't know that was required. Even without an appointment we were warmly welcomed (Can't say that about other places in the area!). Nicola was assigned to us and we couldn't have been happier. She took what we told her we liked along with our personalities and pulled some dresses for us to try on. She even urged us to try dresses that we wouldn't normally have tried but loved. She never rushed us or pushed anything on us. She knew we were on a budget and never pushed more expensive dresses and found wonderful dresses with our budget. No one came even close to her level of care and personal touch. We called same day to see if she was available and David's bridal moved around the schedule to accommodate us. I have visited this store twice now. The first time was to try on wedding dresses a couple of months ago, and the consultant that I worked with was lovely. She was engaged, helpful, made some great suggestions and was generally fantastic. I ultimately ended up finding the right dress at a different store, but that doesn't change my really good experience. I went back to David's Bridal on Thursday of last week because the dress that I chose has a lot of skirt to it, so I'm looking for something to wear as a reception dress so that I don't have to worry about the skirt of my dress getting stepped on or damaged. The consultant that was assigned to me was barely there and didn't seem to be interested in helping me out. When she arrived, I explained what I was looking for. There was one dress that my mother found that she liked the look of, but other than that, we hadn't really found anything that looked like it could be a fit. The consultant pulled the dress that my mother liked so that I could try it on and then disappeared. It turned out that the dress wasn't right for me at all, but the consultant wasn't there to discuss with or give feedback to. My mother had to track her down to ask about one of the styles of bridesmaids dresses in ivory to see if it could be a good option. The consultant eventually pulled the dress and then disappeared again. After the second dress wasn't a fit, my mother and I did a walk around the store again to see if we could see anything else that might be a fit because we couldn't find our consultant again. Once we were almost completely through the racks of dresses, the consultant appeared again, herded us back toward the changeroom and said she might have an idea (the first bit of direction or input from her and it came almost at the end of our hour long appointment). She presented a dress as an option that ultimately wasn't a good fit for me and then disappeared again. At that point, I was ready to be done, so I got changed and we just left. I was so pleased with how my first appointment went that I was happy to go back to see if they had something that would be a good fit for the second need. If I had had the second experience the first time around, I wouldn't have bothered. It was really disappointing.

Nadia was so helpful and patient as I tried to organize which dresses each bridesmaid needed to try on (we have 14 total!) In fact when another location was unprofessional and unhelpful, the Hamilton location went out of their way to make my experience more of a pleasant one. Took my daughter into David’s bridal last week for a prom dress and was helped by a very pleasant and patient consultant named Kanyon. He spend much time and attention on her and made her feel completely comfortable. She isn’t the type that likes to come out of the change room but she was ok with him there as he really gave her the confidence she needed. I am so glad this was not the first place I went to for my wedding stress a so would have been so discouraged and left in tears. I went back on the beginning of July, and the lady that was placed with me was not listening to the styles of dresses that I liked. However, I still tried them on. When I told her I didn't like them, she would say 'why?' in a very rude tone. She kept taking off so my mother and MOH had to keep pinning the dress for me. I decided to stop looking for wedding dresses here and start getting an idea of bridesmaids dresses. When I stated that I (bride) would be trying on bridesmaid dresses, she looked shocked. Personally, it seemed like she did not want to be working thet day and looked rather annoyed with me. The manager (lovely lady) eventually got involved as I said no to every single dress that was brought to me. Once the manager got involved the lady placed with me, changed her attitude. We booked an appointment for middle of August for the bridesmaid to come try on dresses and not once did they say a deposit needed to be put down to order the dresses. Second visit was for my bridesmaids. This was an okay visit and the lady placed with us was more welcoming. However there were 6 people trying on dresses and they only gave us 2 change rooms even though other rooms were available. When we went to order the dresses they told us the payment needed to be out in full for 6 dresses. See previous paragraph where they never told me that a down payment had to be made, nevermind the entire cost! Third time I went in, with my last bridesmaid. They had my name wrong and as Kayla. She asked if we wanted to look around for dresses and I said no, it is already picked and should be on file. (not her fault, this was not the lady I dealt with before) For an already stressful time planning and such, having the extra stress of the unorganization in the store is very stressful. Also do not have pedastools or 360 mirrors to see all angles of the dress. I am praying that when the dresses come in they are fitted correctly as all my bridesmaids are relatively the same size and were all measured completely different. I have read some of the other reviews on here about alterations, and it makes me nervous.

My consultant, Emily, went above and beyond! So patient, always going back to find more dresses according to my likes and dislikes. Must have tried on 10 dresses! The person helping us was also helping 2-3+ other groups so she was in and out but when asked if she could bring us dresses, she always brought the wrong size then asked (even though they had the right size), then after all of that told us our appointment time was up and we had to finish and leave. Kaitlyn was our girl for the day and she was very patient and polite. I came in for my grandmothers both are my flower girls they have very different styles and kaitlyn was understanding and brought out great examples. Both grandmothers found styles that suit their needs and although we hadn’t booked for the seamstress she was in the salon and took the time to meet with both ladies to pin them for alterations. The experience of trying on dresses was MUCH more enjoyable than the first place I went. I tried on many dresses at the store, but wasn't able to make a choice. Jennifer was great about taking down all the numbers and saving them until my next visit. At my second visit, I was still indecisive and both Jennifer & Christine (the manager) were awesome in helping me narrow down my choice. I didn't feel pressured to buy. The bonus was when my daughter chose her dress and we looked at the price we were amazed. Very reasonable! This is a great store to go to if you want to buy a budget friendly dress but don't want to sacrifice style and attention to the details.

I brought my gown [that I purchased from another bridal store] in to be altered for my upcoming wedding. They were kind, professional, and able to do the alterations within just 4 weeks. I did not need or choose to expedite my alterations. The finished gown looks perfect and they took such care. I knew the risks bringing in a non-David's gown, and was not disappointed. My maid-of-honour had her wedding gown ordered and altered about 8 years ago, and also had exceptional service, which is what prompted me to choose David's for myself. The costs are about the same as other places that I had quoted, but I trust David's seamstresses to do quality work.

I was just doing a look around. My wedding was too far ahead to buy a dress now. But when I told Simi I loved alternative dresses and glitter, she pulled out my dream dress! Naturally I bought it. Aside from the amazing choices she brought me, Simi and the other wonderful people at the shop allowed us in 30 minutes early and allowed us to have the full appointment so we were able to have over an hour of time trying on dresses. I have been there for two different weddings. The first one was my niece Ashley. Her mother had died the year before and so she asked me to come with her to pick out her Wedding gown. It was my first time in the boutique so I really looked all around. The beautiful room at the back gave us lots of seating and plenty of mirrors. Ashley was happy with the very first dress that she tried on but we got her to try on more. She finally said that the first one was the one she wanted and so she went right out and brought it. We thought that she might need to try other shops but she insisted that she found the One. Everything went smooth from there and she was the most beautiful bride of the year 2017. When I saw her walking down the isle she made me cry because she had never looked so absolutely beautiful before. Her Reception was amazing too and that beautiful gown was worn all evening. She was up dancing most of the night and the gown still looked beautiful and clean. Thanks again for the most beautiful wedding of 2017.

Had a great experience dress shopping for me and my bridesmaids. Stephanie was extremely helpful and so nice! She was not pushy at all and she brought me the dress that I decided to buy. The only reason why I have it 4 stars instead of 5 is that David's Bridal advertised that they had a 75% off sale but we didn't see any dress that were affected by this sale. So I did end up paying more than what I originally planned. Also, I wanted a colour in between wine and apple but the colour I wanted was only on "special occasion" dresses. All in all I would definitely recommend going here. The staff is great! I walked away with a wedding dress and 3 bridesmaid dresses.

Used David’s bridal for alterations. BIG mistake. It cost me over 100$ And what they did I could have done myself in 10 minutes and I am not a seamstress even in the slightest. What a shotty job. I will always tell people DONT GO THERE FOR ALTERATIONS plus my daughters wedding dress wasn’t cut straight at the bottom. Even after a second try. And they made it seem like they were doing her a favor by reducing the hem. No your mistake you fix it.

I am seriously upset with the service from this location. I purchased a bridesmaids dress from the Hamilton store and it had come in and was ready for pickup. I picked up the dress and everything was fine until a few days later I took the dress in to get hemmed. There was a large spiders nest INSIDE my dress (a dress that came in a sealed bag from David’s which was not opened until I arrived at the seamstress.) There were hundreds of baby spiders crawling all over the inside of my dress (including the mother spider). I called David’s bridal and I asked them if there was anything they could do or suggest and they said take it to be dry cleaned at my own cost. I’m not suggesting the spiders nest was anyone’s "fault", but it sure was disgusting to pay over $200 for a dress covered in spiders and the only compensation I got was advice to “take it to a dry cleaner”. Wish they took a little more pride and responsibility for their work. Also, I have taken the dress to two different dry cleaners so far and they both have said they prefer not to handle something like this. So I am now at home trying to get as many spiders off of the dress as I can before I can even get a dry cleaner to agree to take it. UPDATE: they commented on this review with an email saying they wanted to correct things, I emailed right away and never heard anything back.... UPDATE 2: after two years I can honestly say they never contacted me back about resolving.

Visited for the first time on Tuesday evening and I was very pleased with my experience there. The store is super neat and organized (a great trait to have to make shopping for the bride and her bridal party much easier, I imagine). I loved that there were so many fitting rooms and sections for different bridal parties to try on dresses together! Although everyone comes with a purpose it sort of feels like a fun girls night out experience! All of the dresses are beautiful and ordering THE ONE is super simple -- the employees know exactly what they are doing and I really appreciate that. Absolutely worth a visit!

The girl at the counter who greeted us, I'm sorry I don't remember her name, was very inviting and was empathetic to how I was feeling and relayed that information to my consultant, Emily. Emily made dress shopping as easy as possible on me. I know I wasn't the most helpful bride in terms of what I wanted or liked, but she worked with me to find a couple different options that I liked.

I feel like I should have expected low quality considering it is David’s Bridal. My dress arrives sewn incorrectly with the straps all twisted, and the terrible plastic adjusters broke the day of the wedding. While David’s bridal did repair my dress free of charge, the constantly said they did not have metal adjusters to replace on the dress (all dresses were not being made with the plastic adjusters). When I arrived to pick up my dress, they put on some sort of metal adjusters, but were clearly too small for the straps. It was clearly very difficult to adjust the straps for both myself and the seamstress. When you adjust the strap it would twist the material because it was too tight, and all the seamstress could come back at me with is that I was making the mistake myself. Even for a more budget friendly store, straps should not be an issue. My rating is not just for the dress repair experience, it’s also for the overall customer service experiences I’ve had trying on dresses, checking out, picking up the dress - it was very disorganized. My suggestion to David’s Bridal is to focus more on the client experience: less chatting more assisting (this is every location I’ve been to for this dress purchase =4), give more personalized support rather than trying to cram in tones of appointments and check up on no one (I shouldn’t have to run around in a dress looking for help), and train their staff to do both cash and dressing room (with additional training on common sense and logical process for transactions).

Was such a great experience. With my sister's wedding coming up within 2 months, we were both able to find dresses off the floor. The ladies that helped us were fantastic, and did everything they could to make our appointment smooth as possible. They pulled multiple dresses and provided insight and opinions that were very helpful and always positive. Friday December 27th My experience lead me to not want to purchase a wedding dress at David’s Bridal. It was my first store to shop with and being a previous customer (who had an amazing experience when finding my bridesmaid/prom dress) I was hopeful the experience would be the same. I was extremely disappointed with my experience, I felt rushed and most importantly unimportant. When we first arrived we were asked to look through the dresses. I picked 4 (from half of a rack) and was told that was enough and we would look again later. Never did I get to go back and look at other styles and dresses. I was provided with only one - two styles to try on, even though I mentioned I was looking to try a little bit of everything to find my what I was looking for. The worst part of my experience was when others came into the store and the bridal consultant - Tiffany - was focusing more on dressing the bridesmaids and getting them dresses. I was left feeling second when I drove over an hour and a half to come to the store and find my perfect dress When it came down the end of my appointment, I felt pressured. I was told the dress I liked would be discontinued in the new year and that I needed to purchase the dress today or they soon wouldn’t be able to order it. I was planning on purchasing a dress that I loved from David’s but because of my experience I didn’t feel like my business is important. Since this disappointing experience, I have purchased elsewhere where I was more valued as a customer

The help was usually extremely good. I booked an appointment last minute to look at some bridesmaid dresses. I didn’t have a lot of expectations as the last ones my girls tried on weren’t right. Cassandra allowed us to pick out a few first. Then while the girls were trying them on, she was super helpful and brought over dresses she thought we might like. Turns out I found the Maid of Honour dress and bridesmaid dresses! We even got suggestions on alterations. I am so happy to I went there! I went into David's Bridal for my first ever wedding dress shopping experience. I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews of people having bad experiences, but wanted to give it a try anyways. I was greeted by a very friendly staff member who checked me in and suggested I start browsing and said my consultant would come get me when ready. No more than a few moments later I was greeted by bridal consultant Emily. She asked what I had in mind in terms of style and, although I've been planning this day forever, my mind went blank and I said "Ummm, I'm not too sure - maybe an A-line or ballgown". After showing Emily a couple inspiration pics from Pinterest, she sprung into action and pulled a bunch of stunning gowns for me to try. When I say she hit the nail on the head... she pulled EXACTLY what I was looking for. I went in not expecting to come out with a dress, but my bridal consultant, Emily N, was AMAZING and knew exactly what to put me in! She made my experience so positive. I fell in love with the dress of my dreams and can't wait to wear it next June!

During the initial dress fitting appointment she did the bottom lines, and moved to the top to adjust the straps. She also offered cups, and I provided sizing. Advised me for alterations it would be $141 , and the dress itself was $146. I was pretty surprised about pricing but had never done anything like this before. I picked up the dress last night, only to realize they've cut too much off the bottom. There's a gapping hole in the chest, where it joins; I was told I could safety pin at home. And the cups are too large. I have no problem removing the cups and buying a strapless bra , and I can safety pin the dress .. but honestly for $141 to be this disappointed I should have saved my money and did it all myself.

I love this location. As a Covid bride, the staff has been exceptional with ensuring proper communication and deadlines met. Maha, the alterations manager, she is a cut above. She fixed my dress like she’s been outfitting me for decades and knew my body inside and out. She remembered me from our appointment and when asked, she helped me to curbside pick out the perfect jewelry for my gown and taste. I’m beaming!!!! Do not go here is you want high level of customer service or accurate fittings. Unfortunately this store does not function well on any front. I will never return or use them again. The fittings were atrocious, the selection is awful and the customer care is below average. The ladies in the alterations department are kind but I feel are overworked and probably underpaid. The ladies in the front of house are not helpful and the overall selection of dresses is VERY limited. I had a horrible experience and they offered to do nothing to help or even discount my purchase. Overall, I spent over $300 on a dress that was probably worth only $90. I think its a total rip off and that they claim to provide a "high level of service" but this could not be further form the truth. I will never return to this store and I will never refer anyone either. I am done with David's bridal. If you are a Bride or Bridesmaid, I would steer clear of this place go somewhere where they value your special day and they take good care of you and your garment. I think that the staff need major training on understanding wedding etiquette and professionalism on every level for an event as important as a WEDDING. Their computer systems are archaic which leads to long waiting times in line, I had to wait over a 1/2 hour one day to get my receipt with no one else in line. Their dresses are dated, tacky and overpriced and the alterations are lacking in detail and perfectionism that I expect to receive when paying high prices.

They didn’t have the size I needed in the dress I needed, and it apparently isn’t available anywhere. I sat with my guest with no information for over 30 minutes, then the sales rep and store manager called another store to have a size too large held for me, and after giving me the information gave me a snotty “anything else I can help you with” that was absolutely rude and completely out of line. The customer service was dismal at best, the selection was missing sizes, and honestly this was the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had. If I didn’t HAVE TO buy a dress from David’s Bridal for this wedding, I would never set foot in one of these stores again in my life. What a disgusting way to treat people - especially after touting yourselves as the place for plus size women to find bridal wear. Horrifying.

I brought my daughter in to search for something for graduation. After checking in and doing an initial browse around I was greeted by an energetic woman “ hi ladies my name is Fallon, if you forget, call me Jimmy!” I liked her already… we were brought back to our fitting room and after my daughter tried on a few dresses I went searching for Fallon to get help. She was so attentive! Within minutes of talking to my daughter she had an idea of style, colour and fit and quickly came back with more options. As my daughter tried them on I watched this woman bounce around from party to party with the same kindness and attentiveness she gave us. On her way back she checked in on us and helped fit my daughter into something more suited for her body type. We both appreciated her honesty and her experience in fitting women came through and my daughter found the perfect dress! I have never gone into any retail store and gotten the type of service I did tonight. Thank you Fallon and staff at Upper Wentworth David’s bridal for making this covid graduation as special as it could be for my daughter!

I truly enjoyed my experience at David’s Bridal. The store was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I felt very comfortable here, and the staff did not pressure me in any way during the bridal dress appointment. The only downfalls were 1. there wasn’t as much dress selection as I was hoping for, and 2. I was only able to try on dresses that I picked...not sure if this was due to the 1 hour time limit but I wished my stylist had also had the time to pull suggestions for me. My bridal party of 8 and I went to the Hamilton location in search of a wedding gown for myself and bridesmaid dresses for the girls. As someone that is very familiar with the bridal industry, I am absolutely stunned by how poorly my appointment was handled I arrived a few moments early for my booked 1 hour appointment to find a bridesmaid dress. A very nice associate showed me to the area where I should be looking and that was the last time that I saw her. A few moments later a different associate came and rushed me to a fitting room, I didn't feel that I was given much time to look at the dresses that was also the last time I saw that associate. I tried on 4 dresses. Each time I came out of the fitting room I had to flag a different person down to help me with the zipper. I may be naive , but I thought that the whole point of booking an appointment was to have someone be there to help you? Thankfully, I was able to find a dress. I walked to the cash where there were 4 associates chatting and had to say, "Could someone help me, please?". Maybe because I had my wallet in hand I got some attention, finally! The girls were nice and chatty as I requested them to steam my dress before I left. The dress is beautiful and was on sale for a great price, I am happy about that.

I am a bridesmaid for one of my best friends who is getting married at the end April this year. I found out I was pregnant the week I purchased my dress last year and went 2 sizes up as advised by the consultant last October to accommodate for a growing bump. A couple of days ago, COVID restrictions lessened and once again the bridal party is able to attend! With this news, I tried on my dress and it *just* fit to accommodate my current baby bump. However, with the wedding still a month away and my bump continuing to grow, the size of dress I currently have will definitely not fit at the time of the wedding :/ I shared the above with Ezra and Jaimie (David's bridal associates/managers), and right away they searched for ways to accommodate me and exchange my current dress for the same style in a size bigger. I was very impressed with their understanding and resourcefulness! Thank you so much to Ezra and Jaimie for your help in navigating me through this process when I'm sure COVID has required you to adapt so much, I really appreciate it!

I want to shout out Bakhta and Grace at this location. Came in on a Tuesday and purchased my wedding dress the following Saturday. Bakhta was my stylist and she was wonderful! She provided styles as close as possible to what I had in mind but the first dress I tried on became MY dress and it wasn’t even a style I had thought about! Bakhta chose the perfect veil to compliment the dress to come up with a stunning look. She was so pleasant and made the experience very easy and so fun. My mom, sister and I really appreciated her knowledge and working with her. And then there is Grace... she is so kind, sweet and pleasant to work with. She went to all ends to help me find 7 flower girl dresses. She called several store locations, went into the back room to find me the style I wanted. She also worked with 4 of us and that was no easy feat! She was so meticulous, going through and matching measurements to each single flower girl I had (written on a piece of paper). One dress was not in store so she arranged for it to be shipped to me from another location. Grace also found my mom’s dress for the wedding. She spotted it on the rack and my mom loved it instantly! Bakhta and Grace seriously contributed to the most wonderful experience. I am all set because of these two lovely individuals. David’s Bridal Hamilton is top notch. Each employee understands the importance of your day and spends the necessary time with you and provides great recommendations. I have to thank Fallon so much for being so involved in both my wedding dress and flower girls dress visits. Also thank you to Christina for helping me with the last flower girl dress that was shipped from another location. Unfortunately I dont remember her name but she was approximately 20 years old (brunette) with a bubbly personality. Unfortunately David’s Bridal will never be a first option for any future weddings in my family. Although they have quite the selection for bridesmaids dresses they lack the staff care and service you’d think a bridal boutique would offer. Going into my bridesmaids dress appointment I had absolutely no clue what types of dress styles would suite my body type. Keep in mind I have never been a part of wedding party before. Going in there was only 3 of us searching for a dress. The colour we were able to pick from was black so the options were endless. However, our consultant didn’t provide any advice or help in regards to finding dresses for our body types. I asked countless times for some assistance in picking a few options to try and each time I was brushed off or the consultant walked away to do other things. The entire bridal party was left wandering the store searching wide eyed with no idea what to look for or even how to go about the rest of the dress deciding and fitting. After we all had come to the decision on our dresses it came for measurements and the ordering. I was in between sizes and they recommended I go the size up and have it altered if need be, I had decided I wanted to stick with the 6 rather than the 8 as suggested as I felt I’d prefer the tighter over the looser fit. Now fast forward a few weeks to the dress pick up. I arrived at the store to find out not only did they order the WRONG dress, it was also the WRONG size. Ontop of this My sisters bridesmaid dress was shipped to the wrong address after the delivery date had been changed multiple times. We were weeks out from the wedding and we all still needed to get our alterations. We were offered free alteration until the day came that we brought the dresses in and they decided to go back on their discussion and wanted to charge us. The entire bridal party went elsewhere to get the alterations done. Needless to say the entire experience left quite the imprint. I will never return to David’s bridal nor will I ever recommend their services. They had beautiful dresses and the quality was there for the price you pay. However the lack of consultation and the further headaches down the road when it came to the arrival of our dresses was extremely unpleasant to deal with

This was my first time at David’s bridal and perhaps my last. The staff was kind however they ordered the wrong dress. I had to wait an extra month for the right dress to come in. Also the consultant that helped me pushed me to get a bigger size. I was really hesitating as I am confident about my size but I thought she was the expert so did as she say. The dress was significantly bigger so I had to pay more for alterations. This was an issue shared amongst the other bridesmaids as well. Very upsetting.

Due to the “rona” my daughters wedding was canceled twice. The dress she had planned on wearing wasn’t fitting well as she had had a baby 5 weeks prior to the wedding. Two weeks before the wedding we were desperately looking for a new dress and had gone to 2 other bridal shops. When I called David’s bridal, I was relieved that they could squeeze us in. I was reassured that we would have numerous dresses to chose from, and were available to take home that day. We arrived and Emily was assigned to us. This young lady listened to what my daughter wanted, pulled dresses that would be flattering and within an hr she had found a beautiful dress - we were able to purchase that day! It’s awesome in a very stressful situation to have such knowledgeable and enthusiastic support. Thank you Emily ! I would have given you 10 stars if I could.

I have to say the staff that helped me find my dress were great, very helpful, patient, and detail oriented. This is why I am not rating davids bridal a 0. DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS ALTERED HERE! I repeat! DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS ALTERED HERE! Absolute worst experience of my life! The manager, Maha? (Unknown spelling), is incredibly rude, disrespectful, combative, unempathetic. I left in tears several times. I ordered a size up in my dress due to lack of availability and the tailors promise to take it in a fit correctly. My first session for trying it on, I was swimming in the dress, it looked terrible. I told Maha I couldn't wear the dress like this, she refused to continue altering it and said its my fault for losing weight. First of all, LMFAO!!! If anything I gained some weight, and told her I gained weight, but she completely ignored my comment and tried to blame me for the dress not fitting right. After this first appointment to try my dress on, Maha litetately said I should get a new dress if I want it to fit the way I was asking. I had to get the manager involved to advocate for me and convince the tailor to continue altering my dress. After management became involved, Maha completely changed her tune and magically came up with a way to alter my dress the way i asked for initially. Crazy right?? (Rolls eyes). After 5 more visits the dress finally was fitting me nicely. HOWEVER! The alterations staff continued to give me mixed messages throughout the process. Initially saying, ongoing tailoring is part of the process, then rushing me into taking my dress home because they can't store it there, and trying to charge me more for "ongoing simple alterations," that were essentially needed to rectify their inability to take the dress in adequately in the first place.... In the end, my wedding day was amazing, and I looked and felt gorgeous. The dress was stunning. But I would never go through that headache of dealing with such a rude individual (Maha, manager of alterations).

I have been to this location twice now and both times I have felt like I am the only one in the room. All the girls are so attentive and are willing to help and offer advice when needed. My first experience was shopping for my dress back in January and Danielle was my consultant. I cannot say enough positive things about her. She was open and honest and not just out to make a sale. I thought I had found “the dress” but then she asked me to try on one more that she thought would suit me best, even though it was the complete opposite of the styles I was trying on. Our consultant was very patient and kind and pulled all of the dresses that my girls wanted to try on with no complaint. When I changed my mind on dress colour and went with a completely different colour than I originally planned, she pulled dresses in that colour so everyone could see what it looked like on them. I visited this David's Bridal location in early May to begin my search for the perfect wedding gown. I didn't intend on finding a dress that day...I more so wanted to just see what worked with my body type/what style I liked/etc. I was so nervous, but my Bridal Consultant Christina was WONDERFUL! She picked out dresses I wouldn't have even imagined picking out, nevermind trying on. She made me feel relaxed, and beautiful in every one of them. The other consultants took time to stop, talk to me about the dress I had on, give me their opinion, and give me some wonderful feedback. Well I ended up finding THE dress that day! My stylist Tiffany, went above and beyond for me, was extreamly patient and most importantly, very knowledgeable and helpful. She brought me dresses to try on that were within my budget and she genuinely wanted to make sure I got the prefect dress for me. We used this location for my daughter's wedding which was 2 weeks ago. I will never use David's Bridal ever again and I will never recommend them. There were only 3 dresses in the wedding party. Should be easy. Right? They ordered the wrong dress. They lost a dress in the shipping. They almost didn't get the dresses in before the wedding. One was ordered way too large. They offered free alterations then when it came in decided to charge her $160. We took all the dresses out and had them altered elsewhere. How can a store that specializes in bridal make so many mistakes with such a small order? Very disappointed.

So incredibly thankful for my A-M-A-Z-I-N-G dress alterationist Maja!! When the lockdown hit in December, I only had a couple of days to do any necessary errands before majority of stores were closed down. Naturally, my first concern was about my wedding dress. I drove to David's Bridal calling them on the way. I only expected to pick up my dress, but Maha was incredible and fit me in to - what I am sure must have been - a very busy time slot on Saturday!! The dress needed to be taken in just a little - so I am VERY glad that Maha made the time that day for me to try in on. Amazing!! Maha also steamed my very beautiful shawl to go over my dress - Complimentary! The shawl is Very important to me as it related to my culture. No trouble at all using curbside pickup to get my dress before the even stricter lockdown restrictions came into place just a few days ago.

Davids Bridal has a TON of selection, great size range and something for every budget. Evening wear tends to run small in general so always go up a size or two! We went looking for evening/mother of the bride gowns and we had Sarah as our consultant. She was amazing! Friendly, laid back, gave us our space but was also there when we needed help/needed any suggestions. The seamstresses there are also very friendly, we had one come over to our dressing room to offer some alteration suggestions as well. I strongly recommend going to David’s Bridal if you are looking for bridesmaids/evening/mother of the bride or groom dresses, the chances of you finding something are like 99%! They have shoes, accessories, you name it.

I know that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen but Renee and her team were absolutely accomodating, compassionate and understanding. She understood when I couldn't commit on the spot and made me feel comfortable and not pressured into making a decision. I came back after a bit time to think it over and I said yes to the dress! After arriving at David’s I was sent to search for dresses totally on my own even though I had an appointment and the staff knew what I was looking for and my size. I carried my shoes in a box around with me the entire time I was looking and was never approached to be provided any help. Eventually my arms were full of dresses I’d hoped to try on. Unfortunately I had to seek out a salesperson to take them from me. It was very disappointing. Not the experience I expected. Then when I was ready to try on the dresses I was handed off to a salesperson who was already helping another customer. I needed help zipping up and pinning some of the dresses, she helped me with one dress but was too busy with her other customer to help me or find other dresses or make suggestions. I left very unhappy and probably won’t be back, nor will I recommend this business to any other family and friends looking for formal wear. We have 3 family weddings over the next year and a half that many of us will need gowns for. I will buy elsewhere for each of these events. Really, why make an appointment for me if you don’t have time to help me.

Bought a bridesmaid dress here and had my bridesmaids purchase their dresses here. A good variety of dresses and colours at an affordable choice. There was no pressure from sales people, however they were not very knowledgeable or helpful. I had to pull mostly everything myself and seemed to know more about my options than they did. At the end of the day everything worked out for an affordable price, but I did most of the work myself. The final sales person we had (our third trip) was actually helpful and let us use the change room as long as we needed. She was great. At the end of the day, would recommend but would not expect a phenomenal experience.

I had an amazing experience at David’s Bridal on Upper Wentworth in Hamilton. I bought a beautiful dress in the summer for my sons wedding this month. A week before the wedding, I put it on again, after losing some weight, I was horrified at the gaping, sloppy feeling of the top. The dress is off the shoulder, and it was gaping and drooping on top. It was not comfortable at all, and very noticeable. I knew because of the cut of the dress in that area, it would be a big job getting it right. A very compassionate associate named Taylor, noticed immediately that I was a little emotional as I walked into the store. Taylor warmly compassionately, motioned for me to step aside with her and asked me what is it she needed to do to help me while giving me privacy. Teary eyed, I explained my situation, and Taylor assured me that they would take care of me. I was brought back to meet Maha. The first thing she said to me calmed me right down. Smiling compassionately, she told me to take a breath and smile. She said whatever it is that needs to be done to my dress to make me completely happy WILL be done. Not to worry. Maya had my dress finished to perfection 2 days later. I learned she was a manager. What a great person to lead!

Tiffany went above and beyond!!! I had some dresses picked out that I thought I liked online. Once I tried them on, I realized I hated them and were not the style I was looking for. Never being in a wedding dress before and having so many options, I told her what I wanted to look like, and bang! My dress!!! She listened to what I was saying and found the perfect dress! I only tried on 3 and the fourth was her choice and it is absolutely perfect!!!! I'm so excited for my wedding. The expertise, dedication and caring made it an amazing experience! From my first call...to walking out with the right dress, the staff at this location provide top notch service. Ezra was very helpful over the phone. Then when I arrived to simply exchange a dress that I purchased from another location, I expected that they wouldn’t spend much time with me as I wasn’t buying a new dress. My consultant Kaitlyn (Caitlyn, Katelyn - unsure of spelling) was incredible. Friendly, encouraging and knowledgeable she was able to help me find THE dress, a huge feat, considering I was all over the map in what I liked and what I thought I wanted. Although she wasn't at all pushy about a sale, she was able to help guide me through the process, bringing out our picks, and taking in all feedback to select the perfect dress for me. I highly recommend this site for any bride, but especially those who may be nervous, feeling pressured or completely new to the experience.

Emily was a fantastic consultant and I was super happy we had her! I truthfully wasn’t expecting to find my dress at David’s Bridal. Emily let us pick and pull dresses based on what I thought looked nice and then she recommended a couple of dresses based on my vision and venue (beach wedding)! Low and behold...Emily pulled THE DRESS and I fell in love. It was something I never would’ve pulled myself and I am so grateful she did! I went on to other appointments and salons that day, but ended up coming back to David’s Bridal a few days later to buy THE ONE. Emily was patient, kind and personable. My experience at this David's Bridal location was excellent! Everyone I interacted with was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Fallon was especially helpful in resolving an issue with my bridesmaids dresses (the colour I had chosen had been discontinued in that particular style). She took care of it, and kept me informed throughout the entire process all while the store had been shut down due to Covid. The issue was completely resolved and I ended up with the dresses I loved! My bridesmaids also had a lot of positive things to say. Two of them are currently pregnant and mentioned that Fallon was so helpful when it came to picking out the right size based on their current measurements and what they might be after the babies are born. On a separate occasion, this time as a bridesmaid for another wedding, I contacted the Hamilton location to find out information about the return policy at David's Bridal because the information I was given by multiple sales associates and the manager at the Vaughan location (after many phone calls and having to hold for long periods of time), was unclear and contradicting. I spoke to Christina (Hamilton location) who was incredibly friendly and helpful, and in a two minute phone conversation, was able to clearly and accurately explain what could and could not be done regarding a price adjustment for a dress I had purchased 5 days prior. In the future, I will ONLY be going to this David's Bridal location, despite it being much further from me because their competence, care, and service was far superior to that I received at the Vaughan location. I would highly recommend this location!

Special thank you to Emely for helping me find a gorgeous wedding gown within my budget on my first visit! Everyone in the store was very helpful, calling me before the appointment to confirm it and get an idea of what my favorite silhouettes and details were and my budget etc. Everyone in the store wore masks, sanitized their hands and followed all protocol to make this the safest possible experience. I made an appointment and it just so happened nobody else was in there at the time so my shopping buddy and I had the whole place to ourselves. My mom died seven years ago and basically my whole wedding party is in the US and the borders are closed so my husband's aunt has been my wedding dress shopping buddy. I love that they did not assume that she was my mom by asking who I brought with me and bypassing that awkward dreadful moment of me having to explain it all. I felt so welcome, looked after and comfortable throughout the whole process during an important part of a milestone event in my life. Cristina was also very helpful and gave us helpful information and insight about bridesmaid dresses like when to order them by, how long orders come in and how long they may take to get altered etc. Which is important since we are in Canada and all but one person in the wedding party aside from me and my husband are in the US. She even recommended a flower that incorporates our wedding colors! Every employee in the store was kind, welcoming, helpful and contributed to making my shopping experience a wonderful one. Jennifer was attuned to the colour palette of the wedding and helped to find the appropriate dresses for all of us! I went to David's bridal tonight looking for an evening gown for a wedding that I am attending, Alyssa one of the store's stylists came over to ask if I needed assistance, I told her what I was looking for , so she pulled out a few dresses, and she found me The Dress. I tried it on and it was perfect, I bought it!! Alyssa was super sweet and so knowledgeable, I am so happy that I found a dress this quickly and in the first store I visited no less!! Samantha was a wonderful consultant! We had a great time and found the perfect bridesmaid dress. They have so much selection, it is great. They also have a whole accessories section that lets you try different accessories (belts, etc.) to see what the whole look will be. Samantha even got us something to look similar to the flowers so we could see the entire look. The only thing I found a little weird was the little piece of paper with a small sample of the fabric attached - for colour reference - we had to pay $1 for. Just seems weird to charge for something so small. Then we had to wait for several minutes for a register to open to pay for something so small. Overall would definitely recommend!

I went earlier in the morning with just my mom to pick out some dresses I wanted to try on. When we got there in the afternoon for the appointment, I showed Emily the photos I'd taken of the dresses I wanted to try, she pulled them, gathered my group and helped me feel beautiful in the dress I picked. Finding a dress was great. Experience with bridesmaids was horrible - help was rude, sent the wring dress to my bridesmaid. Multiple alterations errors - additional straps weren't straight, shoulder hems were uneven by qbout half an inch, lost the hem line and then missed hemming the underlay. The initial meeting at David's Bridal was lovely. Emily was amazing at helping me find my dress. She was very knowledgeable about appropriate styles for body type while listening to your vision. Then I went with my bridesmaids for their dress shopping and finding a white dress for myself for other wedding events. That visit there were 3 of us as indicated in the booking. We had 45 minutes and 1 dressing room to find dresses. Near the end of the time they allowed us to then use 2 fitting rooms and extend to the hour but only because someone did not show up for their appointment. The assistant was not friendly, spent the first 15 to 20 minutes picking limited dresses and did not offer off the rack or similar coloured options that I as the bride clearly expressed was allowed. I understand dresses were limited related to COVID time constrictions. Then they kindly found the dress a bridesmaid picked, in the right size at another store, set up the delivery and was delivered in a timely manner. Only to send the wrong dress. The head seamstress was amazing and kind, hence the 2nd star. But the department in general not so much. The straps that were added were crooked, the shoulder line was uneven after being taken in and then they lost the hemline. The final fitting, I arrive and they forgot to hem the underlay of the dress.

We went to David's Bridal to find simple gown for my daughter's wedding only a month away. Our consultant Melissa was fantastic. She knows her stuff, she knows the inventory she was amazing. Just when we thought my daughter had given up hope of finding a great gown Melissa pulled a winner. She also secured it from another store in Edmonton as we needed a different size. I would NOT suggest going to David’s bridal if you’re looking for bridesmaids dresses. The have little-to -no options when it comes to sizes or colours. I noticed another review that said “ The fittings were atrocious, the selection is awful and the customer care is below average” and I couldn’t agree more! The associate body shamed multiple people in the wedding party including myself. Our party would have been better to shop and try on dresses on our own, at least we wouldn’t have felt judged. For such a large chain, you think they would provide training on body inclusivity (The girls in our party range from size 0-10). The only dresses they had in stock were sizes 0 or 22. If I’m purchasing a dress, I’d like to see how my actual size fits on me, not being pinned into a size 22 dress. As a party, we will not be returning OR purchasing our dresses from here.

I was nervous, anxious and didn't have a large budget. I felt like they were my fairy god mother and they made it work. I had an amazing time and experience. I came wedding dress shopping with my aunt. We entered wearing our masks (during covid) Was greeted and Emily N, helped me with styles. I was nervous but Emily was doing a great job. Beautiful dresses but I just wasn't quite there with my selections. Fallon one of the managers came over to see how things were going. We spoke on my style i was hoping to go for. She said sit tight I'll be right back. Emily came back with the dress the moment I put it on and I cried, I looked liked a princess and it fit like it was meant for me. Fallon (manager) came back and told me the price. I was in shock that she worked it within my budget. The whole experience again was magical. After I said YES to the dress there was a bell ceremony. Anyone who thinks they can't afford a beautiful wedding dress on a budget. Please do not give up and make an appointment with Davids Bridal. You will not regret it. <3

I’m rating this 5/5 stars because of the seamstress department at David’s Bridal. After the dress I had bought was defective from the store, I dealt with Maha the manager of the seamstress department at David’s Bridal. She took the dress I had bought for my wedding and basically made me a new one with the material. She made sure that I left incredibly happy and went the extra mile to make sure that I was. She even made a belt to wear with the dress out of the extra material from it. She made sure that I had the dress I wanted, even putting in a lot of extra work during the day to make sure it was done by the end of the day. I am incredibly happy with the work that was completely and would recommend her to anyone that buys a dress from David’s.

I booked an appointment 6 weeks before my wedding and was on a tight budget to find a wedding dress for our very small wedding during Covid-19. The consultants who assisted me were friendly, helpful, and even called other locations to see if they could locate a dress I liked in my size. I ended up choosing a dress they had in store and it fit within my budget. They were super patient with me even though we spent almost 2 hours at the store instead of the scheduled 1 hour appointment. My biggest praise, however, goes to Maha in the alterations department who was an absolute sweetheart! She made great suggestions to me about shoes and the straps on the dtess, and she even re-altered my dress for me the same day I brought it back just to slightly tweak the straps. I had a great experience at this store and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for their wedding dress! I had initially booked an appointment at another store nearby that was highly recommended but then they called me the day before my appointment to tell me they were closed and didn't know why their online booking system allowed me to make an appointment...

Poor customer service. Myself and two other bridesmaids had to search for our own dresses and there was no assistance with choices/recommendations available. When we were done and needed to be measured our salesperson was no where to be found and when asked for help, no one came for ten minutes, when 4-5 employees were noted to be standing at the front chatting. Not pleased with the service during a time where there should be less people in the store. We were there for an hour and had maybe ten minutes of help from staff. Also, we drove seperate and then in the store three of us were put in one changeroom during a pandemic when social distancing is of upmost importance.

Went to David's Bridal Feb 22/21 looking for a maid of honor dress. Since the wedding is early July the ordering time for guaranteed delivery is a very short window. Not wanting to chance it I tried to find a dress in the store. Many thanks to Sarah for going the extra mile with a smile and patience in finding every dress in the store in my size and the colour that I wanted. She did not pressure me into making any decisions and I felt that she wasn’t forcing a fake opinion towards the dresses when I tried them on. I went into the Hamilton location today and has an amazing appointment. I went looking for a dress to wear to a wedding, without an appointment, on a Saturday, it was busy ... literally no surprise. I waited between 5-10 minutes to get a room but in the mean time people spoke to me, too whatever dresses I had collected and got me into a room as fast as they could! Faster than I expected even! My non appointment appointment was definitely a team effort and I loved it! My stylist was paired up with another group so the other girls around helped whenever she couldn’t, again more than I expected! They were so helpful and so friendly .. two different managers came over and checked in and one grabbed me her favourite dress, without any pressure or pushy-ness for me to try it on. The fitting area was fully of happy shoppers who also have opinions! Such a fun environment! When I went up to the cash I did have to wait a few minutes to pay, but again what does anyone expect in such a busy store? You wait at Costco and no one seems to care! The girls at the front were so friendly and one even knew who I was from the back at the store and mentioned how much she loved the dress on me! I had such a good time with these girls from beginning to end and I would tell everyone to go to this David’s bridal!

I didnt even have an appointment but she was super helpful and helped me find THE dress and I couldn't say no so I bought it on the spot. She was so sweet and super helpful. I went back just the other day with some of my bridesmaids and Jennifer recognized me right away and it was just a great experience. She helped out with each of our bridesmaids and almost guessed their sizes down to a T. She also even helped teach me how to take the best angled shot so the bridesmaids had photos in their gowns to show off to others. Great experience all around

I wasn't overly happy with the selection, but that was based on personal preference (looking for fit and flare or mermaid, but they had mostly ball gowns and aline). The dresses I tried on were definitely pretty, but nothing really wow-ed me. The consultant I had was nice, but seemed more concerned with the other bride she was working with. Not sure why they scheduled her with two brides at a time (especially during covid), and a couple other employees just stood around watching. The experience wasn't very personal, and wasn't what I expected from what should have been an exciting and fun experience. I went to another bridal shop and had a much more personal experience, was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted (vs. Only 5 at David's) and had a much better selection of what I was looking for. I appreciate the help I did receive, as I know times are a bit strange right now, but I felt very disconnected at David's. A first impression goes a long way.

Came to this location for my bridal gown. I was very nervous being an older bride and it being my second wedding. My stylist Cassandra was wonderful. She made me feel so comfortable and was attentive. She made me feel special. I wasn't expecting to find a dress but I did and loved ringing my bell with the manager Christina. Throughout the trying on process the staff made me feel beautiful, listened to and important and they helped me find the most beautiful dress!! I’m so thankful to everyone at this location and the extremely kind and helpful managers. I’m so excited to come back for my alterations appt! Definitely recommend this location!! Update: Maha is amazing! Such a kind and knowledgeable seamstress and her work is flawless.

If the team had taken my appointment more seriously and spent the hour with my sister and me we would've completed our shopping within that time. Unfortunately the team was doing multiple appointments at a time and it took us over 3 hours to complete our purchase. Due to covid size, style and selection is very limited which is very unfortunate, you are being forced to buy something that is your 5th choice. I understand that normal processing times are long but given the store was closed for so long due to covid the company's warehouse could have done a better job to prepare for this. Overall not the experience i expected from Davids Bridal, but the staff was patient and polite.
