It is with a heavy heart I write this. I have used this place for many years. But the grevious errors today were too much. I dropped several shirts and ties off to be either dry cleaned and repaired. A month later( today) I come back to pick up. They had not quoted me an initial cost but I knew it would be around 60. The seamstress told me 75 but noticed several of the ties were damaged which she claimed was from the dry cleaning. She repaired them. But then my bow tie was not there. It was in fact thrown in a drawer and not even started. Third once I got back to car, I noticed that another tie had not been fixed, I take it back (I'm in a mobility scooter , not easy to do). And she said she will fix it. By this time I have caught 2 mistakes. When I get home I have found she in fact hot glued the fabric and still missed a large part of the tie that was ripped open. And lastly on another tie they missed the fabric that was ripped but actually attached the numbered tag, they just forgot to see it. And I was charged 75 dollars for this. They said if there were any other issues just bring it back no charge. I would hope so.

Came here to fix my slider for my winter coat, I was charged $15 and when I went home to put my coat on the slider fell off. Went back did a 5 mins job and was told everything was ok, went back home again and as i put my coat on the slider fell off again, very unprofessional, never going back.

When they ruined my suit, i went to a best needle and he re-adjusted my suit, so i got frustrated at the tailor on upper james and wrote a bad review on his page. I have been going to "A Needle Alterations" for years. This is my one and only, go to place, for hemming my jeans and other alterations. I highly recommend them to others as well. Friendly, quick, and not gouging prices either. You need to give them a try and see for yourself! 10 out of 10, from where I sit! *In regards to Charlotte Adamson's Review, as I don't have the reply option on her post; It was your job to ask for pricing upon drop off of your drapes? Don't know why you are placing blame on them. You could have simply asked prior to the work done, and went elsewhere if you didn't like the price. Neither do you detail the type of fabric of the drapes. Some materials are more difficult to work with than others. So don't go back, -your loss. Rave reviews have always been on my table whenever I had work done there, as well from many others that I recommended this buisness to.

Brought a pair of additas pants to be shortened and instead of heming them at the bottom they cut the pant leg below the knee and removed a few inches and reattached them. But the 3 side stripes didn't even match. Clearly a rush job. Very poor quality work. Never again! I will go to stich it. Might pay alittle more but at least you now they do good work!!!

I checked online all alteration places in my area and read the review on A Needle Alterations and decided to go there. They did not disappoint. I left in 4 set s of curtains along with material to have 4 inches added. The customer service was absolutely fantastic, extremely fair with pricing and really fast service. Cannot praise this place enough. I will defiantly return for any alteration needs I have and highly recommend these guys!

Very unprofessional business I tried to give this business the benefit of the doubt but my overall experience was extremely horrible if you were going here for slight small alterations on clothes and you really don't care about the quality then go here! but if you are looking to get a wedding dress a suit or anything of quality altered, repaired or fixed then stay far away from this business I was lied to on the phone when I called this woman she lied about how long it would take and if she could even do it(when I came in person she said that's way to much work and they only do very basic alterations but that she would attempt it but it would take a 4 days to finish after telling me on the phone how easy it would be to do in one day) she will tell you whatever she needs to do to get you to come to her business (that doesn't look professional making me wait in the middle of the mall because you operate out of a closet is not professional ) the quality of this stores repairs are mediocre at best, I have never been treated so poorly and been so disrespected before in my life you treated me with such disrespect with how you talked and acted towards me that I am writing a review (something I don't care to do but this business treated me so poorly I wrote a review to warn others about this horrible service) you might think you are good at alterations but you and your husband have very little skill just a big ego and a horrible sense of business with no people skills at all

I have been going to this place for more than a decade now. They do all of my alternations and repairs. They alter anything from suits to your every day jeans. The employee and the owner are so nice and will take good care of your garments. The owner is extremely knowledgable in fit and style. In addition, the pricing is extremely reasonable, probably the best pricing in the city. The best part is how its same day alterations. Usually they will finish within the hour or day (latest). I rarely write reviews, but this place is fantastic and couldnt pass up the opportunity. If you ever need quick alterations, dont hesitate to try this place.

My wife took her wedding dress here for alterations and overall, bad experience - poor communication, not helpful at all, they didn’t call when ready, she had to call to “check in if it was finished yet”. But mainly, they messed up what needed to be done to the point where she had to take it somewhere else to be fixed. So we ended up paying for 2 alterations and had to change the design because of the mistake. Would not recommend.

I only had two curtain panels hemmed and the work was done well, but that would be a hard thing to mess up. So I cannot speak to the quality of their clothing alterations. I found it to be too expensive at $25 just to shorten curtains, and I was not made aware of the price at the time of drop off. Other alteration places are able to offer services like this for under $20. I can understand charging more for clothing as that is something that requires more finese. Wont be returning.
