I've been coming to Abbas at A Best Needle for years. I've getting pants hemmed, suits altered and dry cleaned, pockets repaired, shirts taken in, etc... I've always been happy with the work that Abbas does. He's also not scared to give his honest opinion when it comes to what would or wouldn't look good, which I appreciate. I highly recommend going to A Best Needle and seeing Abbas for any tailor services, he's great!

I took in two pairs of pants, one with a broken zipper, and one with a completely worn through crotch. I was given a new heavy duty zipper and a pair of pants that look brand new with a triangular patch sewn into the crotch. The pants hold some sentimental value and they look brand new. This was done within two days. Excellent service.

Over the year I took in 6 pairs of pants, 3 pairs to be tapered, two with a broken zipper, and one with a completely worn through crotch. I must say, the quality of the work is truly the best in the city and very reasonable pricing. This is a place that cares for their customers and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any clothing alterations!

Fantastic experience! Came here with my groomsmen to get our suits tailored. I don't know much about tailoring, but thankfully was provided with consistently well-informed and justified reasons, with great final results. He is very polite, friendly, helpful, and experienced and it was a real pleasure coming here! Drop in seems to be the norm, and the shop can be pretty busy on weekends, so later times are best to come. I believe there is a two person limit and one change room available inside the store due to COVID-19.

Took my (one size too big) Italian Melton wool Car Coat I purchased online from Banana Republic in to get tailored, (was on sale for 60% off but only had XL available). 'A Best Needle' took off the extra size and shortened the sleeves for me. It really has a perfect tailored look to it now, I'm really impressed with the work that was done by 'A Best Needle' and will be bringing my future jackets and suits in for tailoring as well. 5 stars and would definitely recommend.

Abbas at A Best Needle is amazing--I would not get my alterations done anywhere else! About a month ago I got a pair of pants taken in at the waist and a vintage hat repaired, and Abbas did both perfectly. The value is amazing for the quality of work he does, and he knew exactly how to structure the pants in the way I described. I don't often write reviews but A Best Needle definitely deserves a 5 star review. If you want to stop buying fast fashion I highly recommend buying vintage or thrifting and then you can take your pieces to Abbas for an update or a better fit :-)

I started going when I needed my high school uniform pants taken in and hemmed, and I’ve had him fix a rip in my winter coat, along with completely resizing a pair of pants. A Best Needle is my go-to tailor in Hamilton. They do 1) fast and 2) extremely high quality work. I brought my jeans in to have a patch put in. I was expecting the hole to be fixed when I came to pick up my jeans the next day. Little did I know, I had an additional hole in another place on my jeans. This hole was patched and taken care of without me asking. What incredible attention to detail. Would highly recommend to anyone!
