She did an amazing job on my prom dress. It had to be altered from the waist and was a tedious job taking off the little threads to remove the lace at the waist. She fitted me 3 times throughout the process to make sure it was everything I wanted and fitted me perfectly. Fair pricing for the job, friendly, high quality and although my dress was a huge problem she problem solved to make it perfect!

Rosa is an angel. I called her 10 days before my wedding, completely unhappy with how my wedding dress fit in profile. She told me to come in right away so she could have a look and I did. I was in for 10 minutes, she pinned a few things and I walked out feeling lighter and less stressed. I came back and the dress fit so much better. My mom came in with me and requested another touch up as the previous tailor hadn't done a great job but I hadn't noticed because it was at the back. I also asked Rosa to tuck the dress a bit more which required more delicate work. When I picked up the dress the second time, it looked amazing. I am SO happy I found Rosa and trusted her. She came through, I felt so good in my dress and so confident. She saved me! From now on, I won't take my clothes to get altered by anyone else. And a very fair price on top of it all! Thank you Rosa!

I've been coming here for about three years. This particular year I needed my winter coat dry cleaned. I paid the money to get it cleaned because it is an expensive coat. When I got the coat back, it was cleaned well. I was satisfied only to notice that both the arm cuffs were ripped and the seam was coming out. It was NOT ripped before. I called the company to see what they could do and they said I had to bring it in. I brought it in and they said they couldn't offer me a refund but would fix the stitch. ALTHOUGH I had to ask them multiple times to fix it before they finally budged and said they would. Great I'm happy with this offer. Rosa even said that I probably had it ripped before and was looking for a free fix. This was not the case. I had to wait five days for the coat to be done - no problem. I called at 9:55am to see if my coat was done and Rosa said yes. I told her I will be there in 10 minutes. I arrived at 10:03 am. The store was "closed" and would be back open at 10:30 - even though I JUST called to ensure I was on my way and wouldn't be inconvenienced. I returned at 10:30 and when I walked in Rosa turned her back, grabbed my coat and handed it to me. I said thank you and she said "yup". That's it. So basically what I'm feeling at this point is anger coming from this person for fixing my coat for free when it was THEIR FAULT for ripping it in the first place. And the fact that I've been coming here for four years and THATS how i'm treated after years of coming?? No "sorry for the issue" or "you're welcome". No "hi how are you, here is your coat". On top of that, the stitch was okay - not terrible but not great. Obviously customer service isn't a priority here. I'm sad to say I won't be coming back. YES the coat was cleaned, but after being inconvenienced and treated not well...won't be back.

Rosa altered my wedding dress and it was absolute perfection. Multiple people at the wedding actually commented on how well the dress fit me. She was also extremely affordable. I would recommend Rosa in a heartbeat!

AVOID THIS PLACE! Completely unreasonable! I usually don’t post Google Reviews for Small Businesses but I had a terrible experience which I felt I had to share! 1) I went to get my shirt tailored and the lady pinned me and said come on Thursday to pick up. I was told it will be $20 for the fitting of 1 shirt. It is important to note the shirt only cost me $30. Then I go pick it up, and it still barely fits so I asked another lady and she Pinned me up again, and nonchalantly mentions “oh that will be another $20”. I was so confused as to why 1 shirt that cost $30 to get, was costing more to tailor than it was to actually purchase in the first place!!! Absolutely ridiculous! 2) I dropped of dry cleaning on a Thursday, and was told to come the next Thursday! Later the next week I called just to confirm where they were standing in terms of the dry Cleaning. She said come in on Tuesday since all dry cleaning had arrived. I went and surprise, surprise- nothing was ready. Waste of a trip there! One thing is for sure, I will NEVER be using this Tailoring place AGAIN. A real disappointment!

I called with only having 4 hours left before I needed to leave to Toronto to catch my flight. Within this time they were able to alterate my newly purchased shirt to fit perfectly. Couldn't have been more pleased with the result and speedy service!

I recently came to the boardwalk location to get my dress cut because it was too long for me. The process took about a week and all I wanted was for the dress to be cut. Unfortunately it cost me $60 for the dress to be cut but I was charged for it to be hemmed. The job was done very sloppy and I am very disappointed in the entire process. I will never recommend this business for anyone. I did call to complain about how much it cost and I only received a $10 store credit that I will use for who knows what. Unless you want to be ripped off do NOT come to this location/business. It is not worth it.

Absolutely love Rosa's tailoring. Very professional always on time with all of her work and great location! She has done all of my tailoring for the past 3 years and always makes my outfits look amazing! I will buy outfits even if they don't fit perfectly because Rosa will always make it look great :) I bought a used wedding dress 3 sizes too big. She made it fit perfectly and added a beautiful belt to make it complete! Thanks Rosa!!!

Rosa did an absolutely amazing job altering my prom dress. She was quick and efficient and made sure that my dress was perfect when I came to pick it up. She has very fair prices and was thorough with her work, making sure I was completely satisfied before I left. She talked me through what it is she had to do to my dress and how she was planning on doing it. I am very impressed with her work!

I am very unsatisfied with the service I received. I would give "0" stars if I could. I brought my jacket to Rosa to have the zipper replaced on my favourite jacket. I requested to have a stronger double zipper installed in place of the old one. I was told that could be done but the cost would be about $50, which I thought was expensive but this was my favourite jacket and I was willing to invest the money into a good zipper. The jacket was ready a week later. When I picked up the jacket, Rosa was eager to serve the customer behind me so I took the jacket and left. It wasn't until I put the jacket on later that I realized that a much cheaper single zipper was used instead of the stronger double zipper we had agreed too. In the end I paid $50 for an expensive cheap zipper. I would not recommend this tailor.

Wow not at all impressed at all, went in to get the inside of a pair of expensive yoga pants to be hemmed on the inner one side of the leg, asked them to do a stitch up both sides to ensure that they wouldnt RIP again, and they not only screwed them up once but twice and put a hole in the opposite side of my inner pant leg, then tried telling me that there was a hole there already. I would not recommend anyone to go th Rosa's Taloring and dry cleaning at the Boardwalk Waterloo ever, they shouldn't put Tailoring in there name because what they do is wreck your clothing not fix it.

I dropped off a suit to have the pant legs hemmed as well as the jacket sleeves. I stopped in to pick it up on the day I was given and told it would be ready, it was not. Not only was it not ready, they did not do the work, they sent it to Newtex to have them make the alterations. I was told that they would have suit back in time between 5:30pm and 6pm, (Rosa's close at 6pm) leaving only a 30 minute pickup time. If the suit wasn't delivered in time, I wouldn't have it for the long weekend when it was needed. To be sure that I had the suit for the weekend, I had to go to Newtex and pick it up myself. I still need to find a place to have it properly steamed to get the wrinkles out of it. I will not be back here, for anything. If you need suit alterations, apparently Rosa's cannot accommodate, but will happily take your money. Save yourself the hassle, take your suit to Newtex yourself or just find a different tailor.

Terrible service!???? My item was not ready when promised, had to wait an extra day, when I picked up the item the store clerk was exceptionally rude with me, no thank you, and I was NOT compensated for the inconvenience I endured... Will NOT do business again, there is other competition out there!

I had arranged an appointment to have a dress hemmed. I spoke with Rosa who booked the appointment and provided a quote. The appointment was booked one week prior to the wedding as my dress needed to accommodate a growing pregnant belly. When I showed up at my scheduled appointment, the seamstress was not yet in and would not be in for several hours (first red flag and shame on me for not walking away then and there). The lady working was shocked when I told her I had an appointment. She was able to mark my dress anyway so it could be altered in time. When I went to pick up my dress the day before the wedding, I was shocked to see that not only was the cost almost double what I was quoted but the dress (brand new, never worn, tags still on) had 2 small snags that were not there previously. The lady working attempted to contact Rosa however, there was no answer. Her response was "I just work here" which I totally understand but this company needs to take accountability. Unfortunately with the wedding the following day, I was stuck with an outrageous cost and a damaged dress.

New zipper in my ski jacket and a nasty rip I'm my leather coat and snow pants Rosa's work was impeccable. Couldn't tell it was ever damaged. Rosa is a pleasure to deal with. Another amazing experience at Rosa’s today. I needed pants hemmed for work and it was a rush job. Even though the associate/seamstress (I can’t remember her name, so sorry) already had a few projects to finish that day she my pants done before the end of the day. I was so grateful and the service was so friendly and professional as usual. The work was fantastic as always. I’ve had repairs, alterations, and dry cleaning done here for years and the service has always been terrific. I even had my wedding dress dry cleaned here because I trust them so much. Always wonderful work! You should go here for any dry cleaning or alterations you need done!!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Worst stiching job ever. She does not take pride in her work and does a slack job. Honesty is the best policy and if you knew you could not repair my item you should have been honest with me. Instead you did a horrible job on my jacket which is unrepairable. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Sharing a review on my fiancés account.. :) I took my wedding dress in to Rosa and I was a little nervous (as most brides would be) to get altered and I read her reviews before I went and they were all positive about their wedding dresses so I was trusting them. I was so happy with the results of my wedding dress. Rosa and her team did such an amazing job with my dress. She was very understanding of what I wanted to have done. There were lot's of alterations that needed to be done to make the dress how I wanted it to be: - Shortening the dress at the shoulders to bring the dress up so the beaded belt fit above my waist instead of below it (it was a size or 2 too big off the sale rack) - Brought the dress in 2 inches at the hips - Cut out the back of the dress to make a key hole back - Added a simple bustle with a loop and button and she hid the button very well under a piece of the lace - Hemmed the front of the dress and cut the lace and relayed it back on the dress so it is the perfect length with my shoes. With all that being said I would definitely recommend Rosa's Tailoring services for your wedding dress :). Thank you!
