M K Tailoring did a phenomenal job of remaking a dress I purchased online. They took a “poofy” and “boxy” dress and tailored it perfect to fit my body. It was an entirely different dress when it was done. The seamstress was so patient, it took many fittings to get it just right! Thank you M K tailoring for your excellent work. I took 3 relatively expensive designer blazers into 3 different tailors in the Oshawa area closest to my home to determine which offered the best workmanship. MK Tailors is the winner. They shortened the sleeves of my $850 John Varvatos jacket perfectly. Perfect length, beautiful stitching, buttons relocated nicely, inner lining shortened properly. These people are the Real McCoy and they've won my full confidence. If you care about the little details, this tailor is the one you want to use, because they care about the little details, too. Wow wow! What can I say about MK Tailoring except awesome. I lost track of how many compliments I have gotten from friends and strangers on my jackets, shirts, vests, and pants that I took to MK. The more of my wardrobe they alter, the more compliments and smiles I get everywhere I go. Not only are the tailors at MK great sewers, but they also have a keen eye for what looks good on my body type. Their prices are great and they won’t recommend any alteration unless it is needed. I would recommend MK to anybody in Durham region; even if you live in Ajax or Whitby, this place is worth the drive. Great job MK.

Went to have two jerseys fitted since I’d bought them too large from the venues (it’s the only sizes they had). I wasn’t sure with the thin textile of the jersey if it would be possible to alter. However they came out beautifully, beyond my expectations and were completed way before schedule. All in all, highly recommend anyone to go here for alterations or any clothing care!

Very pleased with the work done here. I had purchased a new hockey jersey from adidas and the bottom of the jersey tapered out like a dress. I brought it to Eva and she did a great job of bringing in the sides to get rid of the taper for a great price. She was very knowledgeable and polite. I brought it in on a Friday afternoon and it was ready the following Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend this place for any tailoring needs.

I had my prom dress, a suit and jeans altered at this establishment and I have been pleased every time. When I went to pick up my jeans the lovely seamstress noticed that they could be taken in more at the sides and was happy to do so without charging me more. This is just one example of the wonderful hospitality here. She has always been such a sweet lady, from when I met her in 2015 till now in 2020, she has always been so kind and accommodating. I recommend going to this place over any other tailoring establishment because you will never find a more hardworking, dedicated, detail-oriented seamstress who is passionate about what she does.

On my first time in the store, I asked to have a dress shirt and pair of pants hemmed for an event at the end of the week. After I had picked my order up, I realized they had given me the wrong pair of pants. I understand this kind of thing happens, and go back hoping they still have my pants at the store or at least start to track them down. Instead, I was accused of lying just to have fun at their expense, and told the pants that they had given me (which were a different color, brand, and a MASSIVELY different size which fit on me like parachute pants) were indeed the pants I had brought in and had hemmed. I was refused a refund (and also told I paid less than I did), and the lady running the store actually started hemming that huge pair of pants that belonged to someone else instead of trying to track down my pair! They have made no attempt to reprimand this experience after I left my contact information. The shame is they did a good job on the shirt that they returned to me. If you plan on going here, just cross your fingers and hope they get your order correctly, because the customer is always wrong.
