Simon was absolutely perfect! My dress needed it all. It was too long, too big, needed cups sew in and a bustle. Simon did it all and more! The dress fits like a glove and makes me feel beautiful and confident. Simon was professional , kind and accommodating. It was great working with him . Trust him he knows what he’s doing !

I was in the shop when the unhappy customer below came in and asked for her alternations to be completed that same week. When Simon told her he could not do it for her that week based on how much work he had, she stormed out of the shop slamming the door. Although the wedding was in Buffalo, I no longer live there and he worked quickly to accommodate my schedule with my in town visits. Prestige tailoring is hands down the best tailor in Buffalo. I say this confidently as I feel like I have been to a few. The owner, knows what works. He knows what looks good. He tells you. I saw some people say he is rude. He isn't. He just knows what he is doing, and isn't afraid to articulate that. For this reason, along with the quality of work, I will only take my clothing here. Everything I have ever had is timely, reasonably priced and impeccably done.

This is the best place in Buffalo for alterations and tailoring! I had about 4-5 pairs of dress pants that needed hemming and a dress that needed some alterations. I brought them in to Prestige tailoring on Friday and boy was I surprised when they called Monday morning telling me everything was ready to pick up! I was thrilled with the quality of work and the pace at which they were able to get everything done ( I wouldn't have expected it for such a small place) Thank you so much! I'll be coming here again for future tailoring!

Horrible experience. (Although I was warned that he will not always fix things the way you request it to be done). I dropped a dress off to be taken in up top (if I bent over just a little, it would scoop down in front and you can see everything). I wanted the straps pulled up top, so the neckline wasn't so low. Simon insisted on taking in the sides instead. He had my dress for a month and still called that morning to see if I could pick it up the folowing week...NO. I got there, paid, then tried it on (ALWAYS TRY ON BEFORE PAYING!!) My problem was not fixed at all. I told him what I wanted, again. He said he would do it, but now charge twice as much as I paid the first time! But you didn't fix the problem the first time (after a whole month)!! How could you even charge me this time. My dress fits the same as it did when I first brought it to you. You thought bringing in the sides would help and it DIDN"T. I paid you for nothing. Simon shuts you up when you try to talk and is rude!!!!!

Can't believe any of these reviews except for maybe one. But this guy was in fact one of the most rudest arrogant persons I have ever met. I can care less of his work. There are many other tailors in Buffalo that do just as good and even better of a job than this guy can do. And with that I say STAY AWAY from this place. Don't do business with arrogant people. It's about how you present yourself to a paying customer on top of what you know.

The man I spoke with on the phone was very rude - when I asked a question, he cut me off and told me "either you're not listening or the phone must have cut out". I was referred to this company by a friend and was warned he is a bit "unconventional" but does a great job. Unfortunately, I will never find out as I am taking my business elsewhere.

Simon is absolutely outstanding. Not only is he very kind and caring but a truly talented tailor that basically saved me from looking completely ridiculous on our wedding day after having my tuxedo tailored from a popular chain. Just a week before our wedding he fixed almost every part of my pants and jacket. Pant legs were not shortened enough and they were very uneven, jacket sleeves were tightened too much and far too long also after they shortened, and the bottom of the jacket that they shortened was not straight at all. Simon made this tux look clean and perfect. I couldn’t believe the difference in how much better it looked after he was done with it. Not to mention he also tailored my wife and mother-in-law’s dresses and fixed my father-in-law’s tux, also destroyed by the chain store, all beautifully. We are all very grateful to have been able to work with such a nice person that went above and beyond to take care of us. I cannot recommend Prestige Tailoring enough. There’s a reason everyone says they are the best in buffalo.

***please note this review is on customer service*** I came to this tailor for a price on a dress that had to be hemmed. I was looking for someone who would do a good job but at a less expensive price (college student). The man who worked there gave me a price and although he could not lower it I understand. AGAIN!!! This dress was very complex and I knew that alterations would be expensive The man was very straight forward and kind about my situation. He explained why the cost was such, which I appreciated. He understood and encouraged me to buy a different dress since the alterations for this dress would be out of my range. This man truly cares about his work and is not trying to make a quick buck!!!

Wedding dress alterations - put on straps, built in bra, & bustle Prestige was very reliable for my wedding dress alterations, and reasonably priced. Simon is very honest, and may tell you his concerns with your alteration ideas, but his willing do what you ask him, as long as you're happy with your choices. My wedding dress was strapless, so I bought tulle-the same color as my dress and asked him to make me straps (similar to Belle from Beauty & the Beast). He shared his concerns with me for not being able to lift my arm up all the way, but I said I didn't mind. Taking his info into account, I purchased clear tape to stick on my shoulder to keep the sleeve high enough above on my shoulder, so I could still move my arm freely. He also did a beautiful job with my bustle. It was difficult to choose a bustle, but he showed the different options and gave me time to decide. They kept my dress up until my last fitting, which was nice to not have to bring to every appointment. I fortunately did not have to have it hemmed, but he would have recommended it if it was needed. Overall, great experience. This tailor knows his stuff. I will definitely return to him with other dresses in the future. Don't forget to bring your shoes if you go to get a dress tailored! He will not hem anything unless he sees your shoes with the dress.

I traveled about 30 minutes to this shop because there are no trustable tailors around my house. The nicest man owns this shop and I will def. be returning for my next clothing problem. I gave him my shirt on wednesday night and he had it done by friday afternoon. The shirt turned out great!

Horrible horrible horrible ! I went in for an alteration to my son suit and it was $200 to downsize the jacket and the pants. When it was given back to me it had a stain of what looks like a foot print on it which the man said he tried to brush off and he didn't know how it got there . My thing is if it was given to u like that (which it absolutely was not) what would make you attempt to clean it ? Looks like ink . He ruined my sons suit for Valentines day and im out of $200 . He suggested the cleaners. He was so unprofessional!

I have brought several items for alteration and such. I was very impressed with the honesty. I brought a dress thinking the zipper needed to be replaced and was told it may not have to be. When I left I though for sure they would take advantage but to my surprise it just needed repaired. I was also told that if in the coming weeks it doesn't work to bring it back. I live in East Amherst and it is worth the drive.

I wanted to get my boyfriend’s military jacket repaired as a Christmas surprise. It had wear and was in rough shape so he never wore it. The repairs done to the jacket went above and beyond what I expected and the price was fair. I took the jacket to the cleaners when it was done being repaired and it looks great! I had my first fitting with Simon last night and he was wonderful. As I'm sure most brides are, I was very nervous picking a tailor for the alterations of my wedding gown. All those nerves were gone as I walked out of the shop. I felt confident and excited leaving my gown in Simon's hands. He was adamant about doing what I wanted and what made me most comfortable and explaining what my options were. He listened closely. He was also cracking jokes which eased the nerves a bit. Wonderful experience. I cannot wait for my next fitting and to see the work he has done!
